I purchased these rugs on sale and waited 6 weeks for delivery. I contacted Northline Express and their customer service was very reassuring that as soon as they came in, I would get them. I wish that they had notified me of the delay, instead of me figuring out how to contact them, get through their phone system to get an answer. Minor irritation…but a quick email would have helped.
After a long wait, I was notified that they were shipped. They arrived safely.
So ultimately my only issue was the delay. Everything else was smooth and the products are very nice.

Not one to do a super-hot burn to let'er rip and 'clean 'er out' as they say, I ordered 5 tubes after a two winter's burn, had a nice fire and used two tubes on very hot coals with the damper open. Next day dismantled 2' of black pipe to the chimney thimble and the tar-gum was reduced to powder for the vacuum.
Did the same trick with two tubes next day and 5' up the chimney was clean to the stainless. Wired a 15# weight to the 6" brush and jigged the brush casually up and down on a rope to find a nice pile of powder at the clean-out.
Heavy duty quality chimney sections, not the cheap snap together pieces. Very pleased with this purchase

Tines are spaced too far apart. Excess, not completely burned ash falls through. Have to keep a lot of wood on the fire to keep it burning. The alternative is to spend an additional $40 or so to purchase an ember retainer.

Built well. Very robust. I burn 20" logs. This grate fits perfectly in my fireplace. I can load plenty of logs without worry they will roll off and it keeps the ends of the burning logs from dropping off the grate. I like the fact that there are extra legs for support to prevent drooping over time.

Ordered Stove paint for a refinish on antique fireplace. Reasonable delivery. One can of paint had wrong color cap. Didn't notice label until almost finished. Could have been horrible but I made it work. Too expensive to re-order 1 can.
