The product eventually arrived and was great and the sizing was good too, considering the differences between UK and US sizes.However, email responses took far too long and didn't re-assure me the item was actually on its way!

I ordered from Northbound Gear thinking I was ordering from a Canadian company making and selling Canadian products. My spider sense was dinged when I received a text from them that included Chinese writing. I decided to look further after emailing their customer service. They responded with this: I would like to clarify that we are a Canadian-based company. Our products are designed in Vancouver, Canada, and tested all over Canada! We have production and manufacturing facilities in both Canada (Toronto, Ontario) and China, where our products are produced according to our highest standards in ethics, quality, and sustainability.

In reality, their address is a UPS store located in a strip mall in Surrey, BC. Their clothing and assessories are available on Aliexpress at 1/3 or less the price they are charging. They are making all sorts of fraudulent claims and this is a buyer beware review I get so tired of lying!

The pants I purchased are very good and I am satisfied. The website, the marketing and the shipping were disappointing. I initially order a first pair of pants. Shipping took over a week and the tracking information was not useful. I really liked the pants so I wanted to order a second pair. Some how during the ordering process, I ordered a second pair of pants by mistake. I sent a message asking to cancel the second pair of pants and did not receive a reply. When the pants arrived, one pair was a 36/30 as ordered and the other was a 28/28. I will not be ordering from Northbound gear again. This is unfortunate, since there products are very good.

I really like my new pants. They have great stretch and insulation. I ordered a size down as recommended and I'm glad I did. I am curvy, so I do find even with the elasticized waist, that they gape at the back and slip down a bit if I'm crouched. Definitely need a belt, but usually don't bother anyway. I wouldn't say they're a perfect fit, but so comfortable, and great for rain and snow. I love the pocket details and side zips at the ankles.

The only two criticisms I have is; I followed the sizing chart for a jacket I purchased and it turned out to be too small. It was very good quality however. And made an excellent gift. The second critism is the long delivery time.

It wasn't bad shipping and deliver was long, however that was stated before I ordered. Belt is fine, sockets are tight, very tight and I am a size 10 shoe. Disappointed with the pants think about returning as they are very tight through the legs. If they weren't able to stretch they already be in the mail back.

Really like the product. Two things though. They are a little on the bigger size - I probably could've dropped down a size from my usual. The other thing is that it took 29 days to arrive. If it wasn't for the long wait, I'd probably exchange them for the next size down. They will do though!

I needed a new set of lined pants for cold weather work around our farm. And we still do things like hike in Iceland and NZ. Ordered a set of 34x30 before the holidays and a month away and still managed to be comfortable in spite of the 7 covid x DL x holiday pounds I gained since ordering. Wore them the two days after returning continuously and love them.

I bought the summer pants under the impression that they were water proof. Purpose was for my trip in Scotland. First rain storm I was in my legs were wet and contents of my pockets were wet so that was disappointing.

I was a bit dismayed about the shopping experience. I was trying to use the discount code sent to me "EARTH20" which is supposed to be good until April 26 for an additional 20% off anything in stock. It did not work. I bought the waterproof jeans anyway without the additional discount as I would like to try them for motorcycle riding and needed to order now for my May ride. However I did not appreciate that the discount code did not work.

Look forward to the jacket as I already have your pants you advertise.

I purchased the waterproof jeans for men, the men's adventure pants and the women's adventure pants for myself. We absolutely love them! The fit is amazing, they're warm, and not heavy. Will be ordering more!

The hoodie I ordered was really nice, but I wish I had got a size larger. When I talked to them because it had arrived and the package was not sealed and I was worried that the other item I ordered was lost it was not) they said "that's why we recommend a size larger as they are European " meaning my medium was actually a small which it is. I had taken the tag off in my excitement in getting it so could not return it. I went back to the website before writing this review and do not see any such recommendation about sizing. Anyways, I like that they are trying to become a sustainable company and the hoodie and the pants seem like good quality. The items took a while and arrived in separate packages but they communicated about that and when the first one of them arrived it was not sealed as I mentioned, but that was a postal problem probably.

Beware! Order come from China, takes long time and when it arrives in-country, it sits in customs for 10++ days. Did not arrive in time for trip.
To return, I must PAY for shipping and PAY a $5US restocking fee.

This was the third pair of men's hiking pants that I have ordered from NB. I have two pairs of the lined pants and one pair of the summer pants. The are comfortable, they fit week and they seem to wear well. Highly recommended!

I made an order for mens pants and it took over a month for them to arrive. I ordered the socks and it took a month and a half. Buyer beware. Socks are total waist of money/ pants are ok- wore them out fast.

Placed an order online early January and cannot get anyone to answer me as to the status of the order. No calls are returned, emails are not returned... complete waste of time trying to get a status of the order or get a refund.

Ordered summer lightweight trousers and 100% waterproof jeans for a trip to Alaska. The lightweight trousers are fantastic and a good fit. However the same size 100% waterproof jeans were a little baggy around the thighs, so have returned for the next size down.
