When I signed up for NordVPN in April 2024, I got confused on which email address I used for connecting to NordVPN. As a result, I had recorded the wrong email address as the entry point for NordVPN in my password protection database. So, when I seemed to run into a problem I logged off and on with/ the wrong email address. This caused the NordVPN product to keep prompting me for a subscription plan -- even when I logged off and on with the correct email address. Only when we removed the original software and re-installed it using the correct email address did I get relief. The process took a few emails but it was resolved. This was complicated because I am currently in a Paris apartment and I needed network protection for any personal work.
Nord vpn disconnects all the time and it takes awhile to get use to checking the connection, I got a popup once congratulating me for staying connected for 5 days, lol.
My Nord VPN satisfied my expectations. Moreover the customer service was so nice and efficient to solve a problem with my billing.

Service is okay (not flawless), but company is pretty dishonest with their stated refund policy. They will not actually return your money, and their agents will simply keep a block of text that says something like: "we don't actually have to refund you, you agreed to the fine print in the ToS".
I tried talking to a few different people, and the experience consistently did not make me feel valued as a customer.

Purchased 3-year( THREE-YEAR) service plan for $99 TOTAL, period due to expire 2023-06-05. Nonetheless, on 2023-05-21 (BEFORE 3-year period had expired), NordVPN charged my card WITHOUT notice for $99 for additional 1-year ( ONE-YEAR) service. Please note, NordVPN advertises 1 yr at $68. So, sent NordVPN e-mail objecting to the $99 charge. It acknowledged receipt of e-mail - and NOTHING. Ignored. Waited 2 days, went to NordVPN website. Now note, NO way to cancel. No button. No drop-down. No menu item. Nothing. Thus, tried NordVPN Chat option - waited more than 1 hour (timed last 60 minutes) no one came on chat line - just computerized screed saying please wait, everyone busy. So, had charge reversed and blocked NordVPN. Will use ProtonVPN - higher rated and actual HUMAN support service.

Very Impressed with NORDVPN Service and support.
In the UK I had had no problems using Nord VPN, however in Spain while I could connect to the Internet, when I attempted to connect via VPN with NordVPN I could not log onto servers either in Spain or the UK.
I also made a few attempts to try other countries too but without success.
Nord VPN proved to be extremely efficient in responding to my emails and resolved the problem. This was in spite of initial clearing and re-installing the NORD VPN service which did not clear the problem.
Very pleased both with the service and with the level and speed of support.

Great Service, 'NordLynx' is the new 'Wiregaurd' protocol everyone else is using, but with the "flaw" fixed in it using a double NAT traversal (or something like that) - RAM-only servers so no data retention. The options available out-match any other VPN, and it IS the fastest - I get 760Mbps + 20ms ping (NE UK to Dublin, Ireland)
The only thing I disliked is they removed the ability to CHOOSE servers in the location (like from 20 servers in Ireland), now you just got to hit the country and hope for the best, but options like Obfuscated servers, double tunneling, TOR over VPN and much more make it very appealing, they are open to suggestions too that they put forward to the team.
They have a sort of anti-virus built in too, but I find enabling it is very taxing on my machine...it has a lite version that proves this...I have it off as I have a hardened browser anyway and common sense.
Its that good the government made me prove I was living in this country! Lol -
Once again I had an issue with living in Qatar and geo blocking. It took 6 emails with possible solutions to fix my issue. I had a reply to my queries the same day and so this frustrating situation was quickly and professionally resolved.

I reached out over a big on my android phone causing issues with my VPN and NordVPN replied very quickly and resolved my issues in minutes.
I was experiencing difficulties using the P2P and Double VPN mode, the connection wouldn't work, so I emailed NordVPN customer service explaining my whole situation as I just downloaded the app on my MacOS.
I received a response via email within 2 hours with all the steps I should use to install properly NordVPN (As I didn't set up it well) and advised me on which protocol to use whenever I need to use a different VPN mode such as P2P or Double VPN.
