I used NoChex back in 2005 and remember the business practices were very questionable. I forgot they existed after and after seeing these reviews I'm glad I stopped. I forgot all about that bad experience as a genuine merchant.
On their web site they do a price comparison which is also wrong. They don't include other providers who are so much cheaper. Very deceptive price comparison. Don't do a price comparison if you don't include genuine competition.
Genuine merchants should avoid them. As for buyers, from I've read, run if you see nochex as an only payment option.
Nochex have been excellent setting up my account. Will Holden went through the process in great depth and made the decision that much easier to make!
Will Holden was really helpful in the process and was there for all the questions we had. The rates and fees are good and the support is outstanding. They do not forget about you after signing up which is a down fall for many other companies out there.

Hosts payments for loads of scam websites, so if you're using them, do at your own *******@Nochex: if you want to do serious business, you should do basic scrutiny of who you capture money for. As far as I am concerned, you're as good as the scammers you host...
Just search online for "nochex scam" and you'll be amazed.
Nochex have been brilliant in helping us get our accounts setup to be able to take payments in both Sterling and US Dollars. The rates and fees are good and the service we have received has been excellent. The platform is easy to use and we can quickly and easily send our clients invoices to make secure credit card payments. Thanks for all the help and support so far.

A minor glitch with a supplier prompted me to contact Nochex who immediately contacted the supplier on my behalf which resulted in a quick and simple resolution of a fairly minor issue. What a helpful, prompt response from Nochex and worthy of due credit. Many thanks to them.

Will from Nochex got my competition merchant accoutn setup in about 7days from when my application was accepted. Rates and fees are great and the service is what really makes it worthwhile. No point messing about with other companies when Nochex has it all, UK based too.

Good day for all those who have made payments through the night and have not received what they were promised to call the bank and claim it as a fraudulent transaction but no later than 120 days thank you
A quick google of nochex will tell you they accept payments for a fraudulent company and even with proof that fraud is being committed, they do not get involved cause the are profiting from it. I have reported both companys to the powers that be including visa and asa, just waiting to hear back, had to go to my bank to claim back the money that was processed by nochex but as you can see from the other reviews they speak for the selves

This payment service is being used by some very deceptive and dishonest websites. If they had any interest in protecting the people making payments they would not be providing services to these websites. Having Nochex as a payment provider and not someone more well known is a sign of a disreputable website. Avoid them!
I order an icloud unlock for an iphone and they did never made it, first they told you it is 30, then get another email telling you need to pay 30 more, and then 50 more, finally they kkept you waiting for 3 months and after that period they told you is taking more time, they the offer a voucher in case they could not do it, and then they doesnt even respond, they are thieves, and the worst of it is they are on England and authorities does not make anything to stop them. Nochex is the payment receiver so when you make a claim they tell you they are going to talk with the service (www.drunlock.net or www.iphoneime.net)

There is no way a legitimate business will use NoChex. If you associate your company with NoChex, your reputation will suffer.
Anyone who makes a good statement about them probably is as shady as they are.
I have contacted them several times, as well as the business from which I made my purchase, with no resolution. Don't even try to get a refund from them, it will not happen.
We have used Nochex to help us collect payments for our club for the past four years. Great service and ready to get hold of an actual person if we have any queries.

Had a transaction go south with doctorunlock which I was basically scammed out of my money. Went through the nochex support system which basically is them just contacting the merchant asking to refund me, the merchant said no, nochex washes their hands?
I made a payment to a company called Line Products ltd. My payment was somehow redirected thru Nochex, a company I had never heard of. I assumed it be the way payments were made to line products. I made a number of purchases from ' line products' and all seemed to be ok. Now it appears 'line products are in difficulty, I am awaiting an o/s order. When I try to contact Nochex and submit a complaint/claim I am unable to log in and put my problem to them.
It would appear that you have to register with them, giving them all my bank details etc. Why was I never asked to do this before they took my first payment. When I try to click on the Nochex 'links' they supplied with my payments, they come up as 'Blocked'. Seems to be some kind of blocking tactic employed by 'nochex' to stop people from contacting them. So beware people if the name 'Nochex' appears, steer well clear ( this also applies to 'Line Products'

I am sorry you have not received your goods. Don't worry, there is no need to register with Nochex or give us your bank details in order to claim a refund. Have you tried contacting Line Products?
If you have had no response from Line Products please email the details of your order to support@nochex.com explaining what has happened and my colleague will be able to assist you with your order.

We had account with them for around 10 years, normally we have used Nochex payment gateway as alternative method of payment (additional payment option for customers) and that particular business became less active. A couple days ago tried to access account and discovered that they did temporary suspended our account for inactivity. Ok, thought to open a ticket to investigate the issue as we never ever received anything in communication about it.
Via ticket found out the following:
- they did temporary suspended our account for inactivity;
- they did emptied account due to inactivity as we had some money left;
We have never had any notification or any update of terms and conditions!
Without any notification they did temporary suspended our account? Without any notification emptied account? How it's possible if this guys are regulated by FCA in UK? If they do regulated by FCA how fair is it?
My recommendation is beware of Nochex scam company!

Nochex discourages merchants from retaining large sums in their accounts as we incur charges for continuing to monitor and manage these accounts on behalf of clients. Our terms are very clear about the charges we make when funds are retained in an account that otherwise ceases to be used. If you believe that you were not made aware of our terms, please contact our customer support team and they will investigate this for you.
This payment gateway don't have customers protections program, instead they are protect their merchant. Not even issuing a chargeback, when you see an online e-commerce website using this nochex payment gateway, don't continue and give yourself a favor and save your money.

I'm sure nochex receive a lot of complain of scam with this merchant(www.doctorunlock.net) but they are not doing anything, but no wonder they are partners.
In my experience, they have been accessible and helpful. They have always found a solution for our business, often at times when other payment processors couldn't or wouldn't help. Peter was particularly helpful at explaining complex issues in very simple and easy to understand language. We've had no issues.

Be very careful before using this company. They have taken over 2000 of our customers money and refuse to release it, give any reason why they will not release it, give any timescale as to when, if ever they will release it. Read on-line reviews. Not to be trusted
Andy, it sounds as if you may have been doing something dishonest and your funds were put on hold. This would explain why no explanation was provided. A more useful review by yourself might explain what you were doing to get yourself into this position.
I tried to contact them for refund, they simply tell you we are not the one who took your money, contact xyz, you took the money for xyz, you are responsible for the services.
