RIP OFF

This is nothing but a rip off. I paid $139 a month - that does not include the medication fee. But it should have included the "consultation fee. Now I am receiving a call saying I own money for a consultation fee. When I needed a refill, I could not get an appointment with the "doctor" and had to wait 3 weeks. I have canceled 4 months ago. Do not go thru this company. Go somewhere else - it will be much cheaper and easier.

I signed up a month ago for the free trial. I have spent the entire month online trying to cancel the free trial. I never received any service from them and they still charged my card the $138. I have been trying to dispute it for a couple days now.

nextmed attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

First month, no issues, second month, slight delay in getting medication, third month telling me 11 to 14 days estimated to get my medication to me. No heads up by next med, no heads up from Strive pharmacy. How are you supposed to stay on a plan where you give an injection once a week every week when the medication can't even be delivered on time.
Then they have the audacity to charge you for an additional month when you cancel! Highway robbery… Stay away. Go with a local company.

So far so good

I signed up a few days ago and had issues with their portal. But they called me right away to help. I have even called them with questions and they answered right away. My Semaglutide has shipped and I received confirmation from USPS and it will arrive today. So that's why I said so far so good they have been great.

No answers to medication

UPDATE AS THIS REPRESENTATIVE RESPONDS IT COINCIDES WITH MY STATEMENT OF NEXTMED TELLING ME EVERYDAY FOR A MONTH THAT THEY'RE REACHING OUT TO THE PHARMACY... THIS IS HOGWASH!
Please do not get involved in this company. They will ghost charge your account. When they're having a shortage you will still be charged. I waited from Nov to Feb all the while asking for a refund of the 390 dollar medication charge. They kept telling me 24 to 48 hrs we will hear back from the pharmacy... every day
You're helpless to take any action because they won't let you speak to anyone from the pharmacy and you don't hear back from them... you get the same answer like groundhog day, we will contact the pharmacy and reach back to you... save yourself, it seems easy to call and get weight loss medication but when you reach a popular dose it doesn't come

Instead of emailing, she called me directly when I was available and made sure she was able to reach me to confirm my prescription and get it successfully approved. She was courteous, and very pleasant to talk to… definitely a great customer service rep! :)

Scam

Please do your research. The doctor I saw never showed his face on the camera, ended the appointment early and then I never saw anyone but got a charge on my account the next day for medication I never agreed to pay for!

Pill Mill stay clear!

Terrible

Stay away- total scam. Charged me 3months despite me cxlng after 1st month- no phone number to call only email. Did stop payment at my bank- the payments still came out, they change the payee slightly monthly so u still pay them for nothing! I have 3 payments out, no medication, can't see labs, say they are awaiting insurance approval! I asked my doctor for script- she called it in and I was approved instantly in January! Thus I cxld the service! But still getting charged! I had to get a new debit card to stop the payments and now have to dispute payments! Such a scam! 0/0

I have been trying to lose 10 lbs since my last son was born 40 years ago. I have tried every
Weight loss program,diet books, supplement,,work out programs, etc.- to no avail. TI do aerbics 5 times a week, Yes, I do want to feel and look better, but also want to have good health as I age. NextMed has been the answer. I have lost 9 lbs in 4 months. Doesn't sound like much except to me.The staff is so helpful and encouraging and I am thrilled to have finally found success on my weight loss journey.g

Anyone giving this place more than 1 star has to be an employee. First, customer service is outsourced. They ignore your questions even if you ask them multiple times. Second they charge you even if you don't sign up completely. Third, you don't need to pay them to get the prescription. They are basically an unnecessary middle man. Go to your doctor and let him/her prescribe it to you. Check out all the 1 star reviews. Mine would be 0 if I could. Filing a complaint with BBB because they shouldn't be charging me. Oh and they won't stop emailing me even though I have insisted they stop multiple times.

This place takes your money and spends "months" telling you they have issues with your insurance. I wasn't even going through insurance. Nothing. They deliver nothing. Look at all of their reviews. Disgusting.

The above title is the truth. I had knee surgery on October 20,2022 and in recovery told I was pre - diabetic and needed insulin before my first meal in 16 hours. I was shocked to hear this since my primary doctor did my pre surgery blood work and said nothing (including how I had high liver levels also!). A finger poke test showed she was right. To me that was life threatening and a wake up! I weighed 242 pounds.
My research brought me to NEXTMED and with RENA answering, very thoroughly and patiently, the 2000+ questions I had and connected me to Dr. Riley who prescribed Mounjaro...I've lost 70 pounds in 5 months! My last blood work showed normal levels all around! Life Saving! Thank You NEXTMED and especially RENA for the best customer service anyone could ask.

Do NOT fill out a profile, do not give you ANY of your contact information. They will not stop harassing you after they have it. Don't even visit the website if you can avoid it.

The good reviews on here HAVE to be fake. Please do yourself a favor search "nextmed.com"on BBB.org. They will come up as "Southern Health Solutions.

When I read the complaints on there I saw my own story in dozens of them. They just keep contacting you, and contacting you, and contacting you, no matter how many times you tell them to stop. And no matter how many e-mails you get saying "we haven't charged you" or "we've refunded you," new charges keep appearing.

I had to cancel my credit card.

I have had such a wonderful experience with Nextmed. Since joining, I have lost weight and feel better than ever. My knees are not aching like they use to. I am much more active and can enjoy things I was unable to do before. They always respond quickly if I have a question. I am doing so well that my husband has joined. Rena, is who I text with and she reaches out to me every couple weeks to see how I am doing or need anything. I can also text her with questions and she is always there to answer. She will even answer on weekends if I reach out to her. She is great! I would totally recommend NextMed!

Nextmed weight loss program

I have had a very good experience with nextmed. I started 8 months ago and have already lost 38 pound. I was able to do almost everything from my home either online or by phone. My prescription shows up through mail and I do my follow up appointments through a web meeting. I am very happy with the service I receive.
