The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

Issues continue every step of the transfer process.
Not happy, you are about sucking more $ than helping customers
The ease of use of the website is very low. Moving and sizing things take way more times than it does on other platforms. It's almost like they made the UI an inconvenience to use so you'll pay for the website development service.
Too many spam emails from web.com with no option to unsubscribe. Also, no option to turn off auto renew of SSL and it does not appear in renewal screen. Was on chat for nearly 2 hours to turn that off.
We got migrated to web.com from dotster. The migration was totally bungled, and all we got from support after waiting for a live chat agent was "We can't help you", and "there is no manager available to help you". AVOID AVOID AVOID
Won't accept my user ID or password. Can't log in at site. Need to know where I go to edit my site.
I had two domains transferred over, when I initially signed up I was never told any stipulations on transferring a domain. It was only when Web.com couldn't transfer them correctly I was told about a waiting period that was never mentioned in our initial conversation. I am not pleased at all that my account was charged several times for the same thing and it seems that no matter whom I talk to no one understands.
Last night, I discovered the system was being upgraded. Today, surprise! My complimentary business email - poof and disappeared. I was informed when I contacted them first, that it never existed. Then, we are sorry about your inconvenience Pay $45 for hosting and like magic, my email will be up and running. Is this how a business should treat a as they put it, "loyal customer?"
Phone assistance was good. It took a while but that was on me. Had difficulty getting Filezilla to work but the agent was helpful. He sent me a screenshot of what I should see but wasn't. I had a corrupted download of Filezilla, after reload of a new copy, it worked fine. He was patient as we worked through it. All looks good now.
Horrible customer service. Additional domain created that would automatically renew once your "promotion" runs out. Asked to share the answer to my security question! Terrible. Will never use again.
I'm struggling to figure out how to use everything.
No status updates yet. No success in domain brokerage.
The site shows live and when i send the request to my friends to see the site they see nothing. It is very troublesome to ensure the site is eventually up.
It's a pretty convenient service for buying a domain with a lot of options, I always find the most suitable one, it's convenient that you can choose for how many years you buy the domain. I was pleased with the support service and the DNS connection speed of less than 7 hours!
Why so many DNS settings?
Completely misled about the price, the USD. Not cheap at all!
Thank you so much for your help and this company you created for us to use
I can't figure out how to redirect my website to the domain I just purchased!
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
