I've thought for several year's business woyk d benefit with a website so for 2018 i made this my top priority and logged on web.com.As I was filling out a request for someone to return my call I received a chat from one of their team members who helped me immediately, and answered several questions for me! I told her to please call me back on Wednesday at 10 am, which she did right on tbe dot, I knew right then this was tbe website buikder fir me! After going over a few important key questions she transferred me to another team remember Robin who took down information about my business and asked me more key points to help the actual design team! I'm so excited to see just what they come up with. I feel very confident that our company and web.com will have a very successful working relationship and theirs no limit for our business, to sky rock!

I was in the process of creating my website myself and was really stressed out about how much time it was likely to take and the degree to which it would require skills and abilities that don't exactly fall within my list of strengths. Right now. I am thrilled that they are relieving me of having to develop the initial draft. Hopefully, I will be happy with it. I have generally found it easier to edit and improve a work product than to create it from scratch. I am also happy that I don't have to spend thousands of dollars upfront for the service.

First of all I paid $150 per month with a 12 month contract to have them build, host and manage my website. I never got any hits while they were managing it. The design is pretty good but not supreme. They sold it to me because I was trying to build it myself and was having difficulty since I have never built a website and do not have a lot of time to learn how to do it. While they were managing it, I was able to use a site builder to make simple edits or they could do it for me. They told me that I could learn how to do it for the year and then take it over myself at the end. They did not tell me that when I took it over at the end of the contract period that I would no longer be able to use a site builder to edit it. I am still paying for hosting and it shows that I have access to a site builder but I was told that I can't use it to edit my site. What a scam! They want me to pay $50 every time I want something changed. I can't even figure out how to get into the HTML to make changes let alone how to actually make the changes. Ugh! What a waste of time and money. So regretting using them. Trying to figure out if I can upload it to a different site builder and change to a different hosting company.

The staff did a great job of asking and answering questions for my website. I built about a quarter of my site before I realized I couldn't do the necessary work. The staff reviewed the current site and asked what to keep. They answered my questions about the look and feel of the site. What they did not do, was to make sure I could get into 'sitechanges.web.com'. So, I have a bunch of information, I need to upload, but the site won't let me. I tried calling support, but they are closed on Sundays.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.

Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
