Boat cover review
November 12, 2024

Ordered a cover for my CDory boat, had to wait forever they use FedEx and they really suck, box got lost and finally appreared like a month later, the cover is missing the straps have been emailing National customer service and still no answer, the quality on the cover seems to be good so far, but their customer service sucks there is no way to reach them, if this was for some missing straps don't want to see if I have to use their warranty I'm guessing I will never get it

I wished I would have read the reviews before ordering this RV cover. But in fairness we had the same cover for 4 years before this one so I thought it would be a good investment. Boy was I wrong! The cover was on the 5th wheel for a total of 13 months. I noticed between the 12 and 13 months that the cover had a few little tears between the roof and cap side of the cover. I got a ladder to see what was happening I discovered that the material was disintegrating. Being very disappointed I filed a warranty claim on Eevelle"s website on 8/25 and received an email confirmation stating - We have received your Warranty Claim submission, and will respond within 2 business days. After 4 days I had not received any correspondence from the company so I called the phone number and got a recorded message that there was no one to take the call and to leave a message with claim number, name and phone number and they would get back to us when they were able. I have called this company over a dozen times and it is now 9/16 and I still have had no one get back to me. My warning to all of you reading this is not to buy any cover from Eevelle or National RV Covers who owns Eevelle covers. Do your research and check out the reviews of this product, not reviews that talk about the cover they just received out of the box. This company has no customer service! As for the 3 year warranty that seems to be a joke also ( the joke is on me for believing that!).

National Covers customer service is outstanding. This brand is awesome. I had a few questions before purchasing, and their team was quick to respond and very helpful. They guided me to the perfect cover for my needs. The product itself is fantastic, and the after-sales support makes it even better.

I've been using the National Covers for over a year now, and it still looks as good as new. I must say it's the best brand. It's withstood harsh weather conditions, including heavy rain and snow, without any signs of wear and tear. The durability of this cover is impressive, making it a great investment for long-term use.

The National Covers is incredibly user-friendly. It's easy to put on and take off, and cleaning it is a breeze. The material repels dirt and water, so a quick wipe down is usually all it needs. This cover has simplified my life and kept my Boat in excellent condition. What a brand it is.

They have a 20% restocking fee? $319.99 cover ($64.99 restocking fee) That is crazy...

Just cost me 25.00 to ship the cover back also... I was out $89.00 (For a cover that did not fit right)

They received my return 10 days ago and I still have no CREDIT...

Considering the high quality and durability, the National Covers is reasonably priced. It's an excellent value for the money. The attention to detail in the design and the robustness of the material make it a superior choice compared to other brands I've tried. Higly recommended the National Covers.

Horrible Customer Service

Tried to cancel an order days before it was shipped. Called 10 times, left 5 voice mails. Rec'd a call back 2 days later and said it would be escalated for cancellation, but no it shipped anyway the next day. Called again and they said I would have to receive item and get a Return Auth. I rec'd the cover, called to get return auth and they say I have to pay return shipping and 18% restocking fee. Did not like this situation and the cust svc rep said she would escalate to see if another resolution is possible. A week later, still no response. So, I will have to pay $40 restocking and $100 for return shipping (it is a big 5th wheel cover) for an item I paid $223? And then they get the item back and will turn around and resell it. This is totally unacceptable customer service, they never follow through with promises and avoid calls so they don't have to deal with us. I have filed a BBB complaint as well and will continue until this is rectified - it is the principle of the thing.

Bought a RV cover. Myself and my neighbor installed it on my travel trailer. Fit was a little large but worked. No sharp edges nor was it rubbed over anything that would tear it. Had 8 mph winds a couple days the week at after installation. Checked it the following weekend and had a 12 inch tear right along a seam on the front. Sent all the required photos to them. Denied the claim. If it won't hold up to 8 mph winds, then there will always be a chance of tearing. Don't waste your money.

So far, this is the best boat cover I have purchased. The straps don't go over the cover like the previous versions I have purchased, which makes it a lot easier fastening to the trailer. There has not been any rain since obtaining it, but I believe it should work as expected. Highly recommend if you've also struggled with the straps going over the entire boat cover.

Misleading Warranty and Poor Quality
March 14, 2023

I bought a cover from National because it claimed to be a high quality cover with a 3 year warranty. The cost of the National Cover was substantially more than other name brand covers on the market. I bought the more expensive National cover because I thought it would be a better quality cover that would last longer. Not the case, about one year later the cover starting falling apart. I contacted National Cover and that is when the details of the warranty came out. The warranty is prorated and the amount you have to pay for a warranty replacement cover is almost the same price as you paid the first time you bought their cover. Then they tell you that the cover you need is out of stock and it won't be available for another 2.5 months. In summary, the cover is overpriced, it won't last longer than a cheap cover, and the Warranty is very misleading. Also, their website says 5 star verified customer reviews, 99% positive, which is funny.

I ordered a cover back in the first week of November and said the cover was going to be shipped with in the week. 4 weeks went by and I had to call them. They said that the cover I ordered was back ordered and didn't have the color I ordered. I ended up doing with a different color. When it arrived it did not fit to the specs they said it would. When trying to zip the sides the zipper ripped. I applied for the warranty and it took almost 6 weeks to hear from them. They approved the warranty and said they do not refund and can only ship the same product that was purchased. You are not allowed to request a different size. The material is extremely cheap and not built to last. They ended up canceling the warranty and and I am unable to get my money back or a new cover. They say all products are ordered and built in house. This is extremely inaccurate all these products are drop shipped. Do not order from this company.

When i called to return they said there was an 18% restocking fee.? The title is EXACTFIT? How does that work? The operator said, "read the fine print". I felt like i was robbed, 18% restocking fee was nearly $100, PLUS I had to return at my expense another $26. Bad business!

For such a low cost, I wasn't expecting much but am surprised by the quality and durability of the material. It's easy to put on and take off, as well as staying firmly on even in windy conditions.

Run from this company. Terrible return policy and don't stand by their products. I only purchase because they had a 5 year warranty for the product. I spent $550 for what I thought was the best cover on the market based on what I was spending. At 2 years it started to tear. They want to prorate a new one and want me to send them $350 for a new one. I would be in $900 the cover in two years. Better off buying the cheap ones for $100 and putting a new one on every year. Their customer service is an absolute nightmare and I can't get anyone to discuss the terrible customer service I continue to experience. Anyone at this company that reads this is welcome to call me at *******958

I have tried to upload proof of purchase but it will not allow me to not sure why. Happy to share that as well.

It's thick and definitely waterproof. The soft cushioning cotton on the inside is great, so it doesn't scratch. I have it on a classic car, and it fits fine. Time will tell how long it will last.

BUYER BEWARE

Spoke with a customer service rep at NATIONAL COVERS when ordering a cover for my travel trailer. Provided the Rep with the manufacturers dimensions and asked if the cover I was ordering would fit. Rep told me the covers are not custom made for specific models, however, the cover should work for my trailer. I purchased the $475 cover. Received the cover and tried it on my trailer. The cover I ordered is supposed to fit an 11' trailer. Mine is 10'. There is at least 6' extra in length and the 4' in width. I'm not able to use the cover. Called NATIONAL COVERS and spoke with Nicole the Returns & Warranties Coordinator for NATIONAL COVERS. She told me that there is an 18% restocking fee and I, the purchaser, are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. I told Nicole that the sales rep from NATIONAL COVERS had said they believed the cover would fit my trailer. NATIONAL COVERS is a shady organization. I wouldn't recommend them.
