Ordered 3 items. One of them was a white dress for summer, very pretty(at least on the website pictures). What came to my mail was a white trash bag looking dress, horrendous! Went to my order to confirm I wasn't going crazy. The dress I had ordered was out of stock for my size, i assume they sent me that trash bag instead of just sending an email letting me know its out of stock and reimburse me. I ended up retuning my whole orderas the other items were too big. Don't buy! Would give 0 starts if I could.
I wanted to do some online shopping for summer clothes and heard that Nasty Gal had good quality clothes. I decided to look at their website and a lot of the clothes were cute. They were also more expensive than sites like shein so I knew the quality would be better as well. I bought 3 items, 2 dresses and a sweatshirt. When the delivery arrived today, I was so excited to try on my new clothes. When I opened the box, I was extremely disappointed and angered with the items that they sent. 1) The quality is subpar, not the worst but definitely not the best. 2) The stitching job is very sloppy and looks cheap. 3) This was my biggest disappointment. They sent me a dress that looked completely different from the one I ordered. The dress I ordered was a blush color with mesh fabric. The one they sent me is bright pink and was a completely different fabric, a more heavy, towel-like fabric. It's honestly very disappointing that a company would sell a certain product and send a completely different item to the customer. I should've known something was up because they don't allow customer reviews on their products on the website. If anyone is thinking of buying from Nasty Gal, I do not recommend at all.
I was injured so I couldn't return things on time and I asked them to make an exception as none of their dresses fit me and I ordered my normal size but they either run super small or super big. In addition the images don't even match the shipments. I ordered a shorts pajamas set and got pants instead. It's such a bad experience overall and the colors and materials are horrible in person and so cheap looking compared to the pictures. I tried explaining to the chat rep and she just hung up on me. Her name is Beth. I will never shop here again and tell everyone about my poor poor experience!
My payment wasn't going through on their website or app. It was not accepting my amex for some reason, the website gave an unspecified reason. It was not due to my amex as I had plenty of available credit and all info was put in correctly. I also checked with amex and they said it was on the sellers end, they were not rejecting. I contacted customer service several times only to be put off 24,48 hours...then 72 hours. Still no answer they said they would escalate to the proper dept. I never heard back and after 72 hours asked what was going on. Their answer was nobody else had the problem. Nothing more...no interest in figuring out what the problem was. I will never spend my money with them especially due to the complete disinterest in my business and they rude poor service from their "customer service" people.
This review will be very long if I add everything I want to say. This was the first time I ordered from this company at the first of January. I was supposed to receive my merchandise in 5-8 business days. I received one of the 3 items. As of today I still have not received the other 2 items. I have sent them over 12 emails reporting that the tracking hasn't moved since day one. They don't have a person you can talk to so email is the only option. I get a different customer service person every time I email them. Each time I'm promised something different. I was assured by the third of February I would either be refunded or they would resend the items. They lied. Now they are saying wait until the 22nd of February because that's the max amount of time they have with the courier. They are BS'ing me at every opportunity. I'm sure my items are no longer in stock and they were ordered for my husbands birthday party so I now have to wait to see if they come or look for another outfit. They do not care! I have reported this to the company that handled the transaction to see if I can get some help. You are on a island by yourself if you decide to order from them. It's unfortunate because I do love the one pair of boots I did receive but they will fold based how they treat their customers. I have a side business where I mail daily and treat my customers like they are queens. I don't understand their way of doing business so they won't be getting mine again.

The customer service was no help at all. I talked to 5 different people who kept pushing the delivery date back and then they said it was delivered, and told me to look around my building and ask my neighbours!? The package that was delivered was only HALF the items. The WHOLE OTHER package never came and never even made it to the courier. I am so sad, I feel scammed. People work hard and spend money just for it to be robbed from a reputable online clothing store? How do you mess this up? There is a movie on NETFLIX about this owner/store - people should know how HORRIBLE it is.
MY ORDER took over a month and a half to come in and I needed this order for a trip. I did not receive such order until after I returned but I no longer needed the items because they were placed specifically for the trip. I tried to reach out to nasty gal because my order was significantly delayed but there is not a real person you can even speak with. Then I tried to return my items and that was even more difficult because my order number could not be found, and I could only resort to automatic messages from a computer again no real person to help. Not to mention the clothing that came in is garbage literally. I will never order from here again I spent 200 for clothes I no longer needed because they did not come in on time and then I could not even return them! DO NOT BUY ANTHING FROM HERE!
I just received a rancher style hat in the mail that I had ordered from Nasty Gal and I am SHOCKED it wasn't sent in a box. Of course, it is completely misshapen, has a few scratches on the top of the brim, and a dent in the top of the crown to boot. Luckily, I have a steamer and used to work at a western wear store so I know how to reshape a hat but I shouldn't have to do that. I have purchased hats from Shepler's and they always come in a box! Granted, Shepler's is better quality but I knew that already. The sales that Nasty Gal has are always enticing but after ordering from them numerous times and having to return things or receiving items that aren't the best quality, I may be done with them for good. It's such a pain to have to return stuff overseas anyway. It's just not worth the risk for me after this. Not to mention, even after the discount with shipping I paid over $40 for the hat. I have better quality ones from Forever 21 that cost $20 something! Ha!
Customer service is disgusting. The app doesn't let you apply gift cards - the website does but won't ship to my address even though the app will ship to my address perfectly fine. For an online store the IT is absolutely appalling.

When I was finally able to get through to them they said I was outside the 14-day window for identifying a missing item. Due to their broken technology, they stole money from me. I've been purchasing from nasty gal for so long. Yesterday I received my order and noticed I received two different boot styles in the box, both were for the right foot! Mistakes happen, but oh my goodness, to get customer service to help has been such a nightmare. The lack of quality from this brand is outrageous with what they charge for their products. The sizing is also very off. I ordered two pairs of shoes in my usual size and both fit like they were two sizes larger.
What else is mind-boggling is the fact that they charge $13 for shipping to the US and yet charge shipping for returns as well. It also doesn't state what the fee is until you physically go to make the return. With how much they are profiting, I'm baffled by how cheap they are to not even cover the return cost.
Will truly never be purchasing from here again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Ordered three items. Two came in dirty looking bags that had clearly been used. Of the three items, one was huge and ridiculous looking, the other was poor quality but kind of cute, and the third I thought would be nice with some alterations. I decided to return the first, but Nasty Gal wants me to pay for shipping with a credit card, rather than deduct from my return? I don't think so. That's not a policy I can get behind. I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Correct items in my order had deodorant stains on them. The main item I had placed the order for was not in my package, and I received a wrong item instead. Customer service told me I had to wait until the item was shipped back to get a refund and I would not offer to send me the correct item. Very disappointing, do not recommend this business.
2 out of the 5 items I ordered came broken and in busted up packaging. Their shoes are uncomfortable and poor quality. One of the broken items I received I later learned was an outdated, discontinued product by a third party company. Reached out to customer service and they were absolutely appalling. The system doesn't let you email large files like certain pictures and videos, which they demand you provide as proof of faultiness. The customer service reps are so unhelpful and you only have a chance of getting your refund if you nag them for hours on end. Be tenacious, or better yet, don't order in the first place.
