It's a solid online bank. I think I would rate it above the market average. But one thing that was not satisfying is the time of verification which took me forever.
Don't know the exact reason but it's a fact.

I have been a customer for over a year and I find the N26 bank very good, easy and comfortable to use. My experience is very positive, I have not encountered any problems and I find the customer service very good. N26 offers very good benefits, commission-free withdrawals and free SEPA wire transfers, you can send money between N26 accounts immediately and the credit card arrives for free at home, within days, the card is a MasterCard. Another good aspect are the money limits that you can spend and top up, they are very wide, indeed you can choose when you want to spend, by entering the limits in your account settings. To top up the account you can make transfers, while top-ups in cash can only be done on the PAM store line, however there are commissions of € 3 per top-up and a maximum of € 400 per operation can be recharged. N26 also offers a varied type of accounts, each has advantages, the first two are free, have no type of fee or management cost and are:
• The standard with its business variant (the one I chose), the only difference is that the business has 0.1% on all the expenses you do online and in physical stores.
• The Smart, the You and the Metal are other accounts, all have the Business variant, have a monthly cost from € 4.90 to € 16.90, offer various advantages, such as: wider limits, which at my choice those free are very large, and the possibility of requesting more credit cards than your account, plus you can take out various insurances, such as: car, on accidents, on suitcases and travel tickets, very good for those who travel often. For the Business variant the difference is only one, the cashback for purchases which varies from 0.5% to 1%, and the addition of insurance for greater protection on expenses.

N26 made the horrible decision to partner with "PLAID" for transferring money and requires you give up your bank username and password. Also, if you try to top up WITH a debit card, they charge an outrageous 2.9% fee and only allow $150 per day and $600 per month! VERY disappointing! MONZO is better and way cheaper!

If you are looking to transition to digital banking, I d say give it a go. Opening doesn't take long, the app is really good, your balance gets updated almost immediately. You can also avoid paying any fees and charges if you are careful and don't withdraw cash often, which I am not planning to as there are no fee transactions for using the card. They understood what any bank customer needs. As little due diligence as possible. They never block money transfer in Europe. A simple website with the right data. There is no token that you must use. The application is simple. There is the minimum of handling. Also, they are available at Office hours by Live chat which is the best possible way of communication. Also, you can receive you card everywhere in Europe.
My N26 card was never declined on any website.
