Their account agreement is scary! First it says that they can change which bank they keep your money at for FDIC Insurance purposes any time they want and that they don't have to tell you! Their account agreement also states that if THEY seek out any debts you may owe to ANY company and find one that they can freeze your account, give your money away, close your account down, and refund what's leftover on their timeline! That's just scary and crazy! I'll be shutting down my account before I even get my debit card in the mail. Be careful people and don't give this company your money!

DO NOT TRUST APPLE WITH YOUR REVIEWS IN THEIR APP STORE! 50% OF THE TIME THEY WILL NOT AGREE TO POST YOUR REVIEW AND/OR WILL REMOVE IT IF THE COMPANY YOU'RE REVIEWING WHINES AND COMPLAINS ABOUT IT! COMPANIES HAVE A "PAID" MEMBERSHIP WITH APPLE AND THEIR APP STORE FOR REVIEWS AND APPLE WILL ALMOST ALWAYS SHOW LOYALTY TO THE MONEY INSTEAD OF AN HONEST REVIEW FROM A CUSTOMER! YOU'RE BETTER OFF USING SITES LIKE THESE TO GIVE AN HONEST REVIEW OF A COMPANY! Very disappointing! The fact that they charge a monthly fee of $5 for this is like asking a customer to pay the price for a Mercedes and all you get is a Honda Civic! Extremely lax security for log in. Once you're in, they automatically added ability to send money to anyone with just their name, phone number and $ amount which SCREAMS "hacker" and come take my money. I've closed down my account before I even got the card in the mail.

This is a prepaid card and account offered by PNC Bank. In ALL my years of using prepaid cards, I don't think I've EVER come across such "intrusive" legal language for a "PREPAID CARD" than this one! This bank not only wants you to agree to some form of a credit check... but they also want permission to look at your Early Warning Systems report! Are you kidding me PNC? Is this a joke? THIS IS A PREPAID CARD! And for anyone who doesn't know what Early Warning Systems is... is like a credit report, except it's for banks when you open up a real demand deposit checking account (which this is NOT a real account) and it's shares all your dirty little secrets about your bank account such as your balance, who you pay checks too, incoming direct deposits, etc... I can't wait until all the Fintech and Digital banks puts Brick & Mortar banks like PNC out of business!

Both APP and website went down for over 3 hours. Called toll free number and automated system said it didn't recognize my SS# or card #? Called back and chose lost/stolen card option and got some guy in India who wasn't able to see any of my info? All this for $5 a month? And NO. You're not getting my direct deposit to avoid the $5 fee... you're not good enough! I'm closing my account.

N26 made the horrible decision to partner with "PLAID" for transferring money and requires you give up your bank username and password. Also, if you try to top up WITH a debit card, they charge an outrageous 2.9% fee and only allow $150 per day and $600 per month! VERY disappointing! MONZO is better and way cheaper!

PERSON WHO ANSWERED PHONE BARELY UNDERSTOOD OR SPOKE ENGLISH! WAS ON HOLD OVER 30 MINUTES WAITING FOR A LIVE REP! THEY TAKE FOREVER TO RESPOND TO EMAIL OR IN APP MESSAGES! I REQUESTED MY ACCOUNT CLOSED OVER 2 WEEKS AGO AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T CLOSED IT! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

DOUBLE FEES! THEY CHARGE A FEE THEN THE RETAILER CHARGES A FEE! YOU CAN'T TALK TO A PERSON BY PHONE UNLESS YOU'VE LOST YOUR CARD! NO LIVE CHAT FEATURE! IF YOU GET DOWN TO $0 BALANCE AND TRY TO CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT, THEY SEND YOU A "SCRIPTED MESSAGE" SAYING THAT THE ACCOUNT WILL CLOSE EVENTUALLY AND OF COURSE THEY HAVE "INACTIVITY" FEES SO WHILE YOU'RE WAITING FOR THEIR SYSTEM TO CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT, YOU'RE HIT WITH AN INACTIVITY FEE! THESE PEOPLE BELONG IN JAIL! I HAVE CONTACTED CFPB AND TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL AND LODGED A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM! MY NEXT ACTION WILL BE MY ATTORNEY!

I've had dozens of prepaid cards with completely different issuing banks, and this company is a joke! First they claim to be a "PREPAID" card company, and after you apply for one of their cards, the message reads "once your information is confirmed"? Every single prepaid card company I've done business was able to "confirm" my identity immediately! And I have NOT moved in the past year! Same address! I emailed them to ask what's going on and they told me to call them to find out? I try calling them and of course their system won't let you speak to a person unless you're a customer with a debit card number! I get better service from prepaid cards who are based in India and the Philippines! Complete scam and a joke! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
