Whoever repacked our box just threw everything in together - no attempt at saving any of the fragile items - in some huge box that was already falling apart. They also threw in some garbage - empty folded up boxes and plastic trash that wasn't even part of our shipment so they could make the box heavier and charge us more. My expensive large clock - RUINED. Glass shattered everywhere. Several of my picture frames - GLASS SHATTERED. The same thing happened to our shipment in November but I let it go thinking it was a fluke. Soft, fragile items, CRUSHED! We will never use this company again.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
