The last several times I've redeemed points for a $5 or $10 gift card it takes them forever to send it. I've even went on the activity ledger and asked to resend and sent several emails and they just don't respond. In the past they came on the same day! Have they outsourced their customer service to a third world country like others? They do not provide phone numbers for their customer service problems, nor for their corporate office in San Francisco.
Accumulated points, then they closed my account before I could get an award. Opened a customer care ticket with them, received notification that they received my question. Waited... no response from mypoints customer care. I don't think they want to pay out rewords. Make more money that way...
This used to be a good site. Recently had an issue and the way us was or in my case, wasn't handled, led me to delete my account. The fact they no longer award your gift card immediately should have been a warning. Takes forever to get the daily goal. This list is never-ending.
The site has LOTS of activities and ways to earn points. That is the problem: There are simply TOO MANY different ways to earn points and ALL of them have some glitch or problem.
EXAMPLE: You earn points for receipts for certain purchases, but frequently the receipt is rejected and requires manual review. This "manual review" is often rejected as well, Customer Service is probably over-worked and under-staffed and can not be reached directly... an online form must be filled out.
Attached is a BINGO activity that ends today. I need one more square to complete the activity, but the receipt for my purchase has not been accepted... I just now sent a photo of the product as proof. I will have to wait days for a response.
The reality is YES, I have received several hundred of dollars worth of gift cards over the years I have used MyPoints, but I have now decided it is simply not worth the time and effort dealing with MyPoints. My time on this earth can be spent doing much more rewarding activities without the headaches. Be Forewarned.
I was awarded 44,000 points on MyPoints after completing a bonus through Chime. MyPoints then revoked all 44,000 points with no explanation and will not respond to my questions through their customer service. Do not use MyPoints, they are a scam.
I was kicked out of taking surveys and the site is basically calling me a liar. Last time I checked I am still a female and every time I select that answer I am banned from surveys for an incorrect answer? Cashing out my points after over 10 years and will try to find another site that is actually coherent and can fix issues. Have contacted customer service numerous times and I use that term sarcastically.
My points is not as good as it used to be. They will stop your survey taking if you answer one question they believe is wrong. So as far as the surveys you can not win for losing. Either you are taking them too fast or you did not answer a question like they believed you should. I wish I knew what happened to them. They used to be so much fun.
For a month I've attempted to rectify with these people some points that they did not award me for shopping through their portal. Mind you, I've been a customer for two decades. I long ago stopped taking their surveys because they don't work 95% of the time, but I had a lot of points gathered up and I still fill in stuff with them now and then and shop through the portal for points. Lately, 3 out of 4 experiences doesn't result in the points being given even though you've gone through their portal. You must keep screenshots of everything. The offer, the purchase, the receipt. Then wait 60 days. I sent them 3 purchases that were not credited. I got replies a week later to re-fill out the information on the site. I did it again. I got replies two weeks later to re-fill out the information—gosh, the site wasn't working at the time and didn't get the information I had sent. I did it yet again. Yesterday I got replies to "prove my identity" with their legal identity portal. Seriously. To get a few points from them, I had to prove I'm who I am legally. I uploaded SCANNED documents. SCANNED documents that I have used repeatedly. The site couldn't read them. Tried again. Couldn't read them. Tried again. Couldn't read them. Eventually told me my identity couldn't be proven. Seriously. To get a few points—5,000 of which you need to get a $5 gift card. Don't be as stupid as I am. Time is valuable. This site has become a total joke. Any customer service portal that is this determined not to give anything to its customers should be wiped from the web. I will now post this review everywhere.
I did surveys for My Points. I didn't have enough for my Paypal so I used the Visa card instead. For weeks and weeks I couldn't get the card to activate. They gave me the run around until I told them keep my $10.00. Be careful what card you take after you reach the amount needed to cash it in.

Mypoints will not give you the points promised. I signed up for a Varo account (20k bonus) and completed all steps required. No points. Contacted customer support and they have ignored my repeated requests for over a month now. I completed the requirements in March 2022. It's now end of June and no points. Reported to BBB. Trash site.
I've been doing surveys for years with this site. Now every time I click on a survey it's says not qualify and kicks me out. They manipulated my account.
MyPoints is outright scamming me. They advertised an offer for 20,000 points and only credited me with 8,500 points. They keep giving me the runaround and outright lying to me when I contact their support. They know full well I fully completed the offer, otherwise why credit me at all? They know exactly what they are doing, which is not paying out what they advertise.
Well I just got kicked out with a reward pending because I'm 13. I'm 66. BBB time and I hope they go after these crooks. What a waste of time, It's not worth the time vs the risk they'll just boot you out! Second time if I don't count the email issue which was partly my fault. The customer service is always busy so that should tell you something!
7 min survey 21 points took 30 min. You will spend 20 min, answer all questions and when the survery has all the information its needs, it will click you out and tell you that you received no points.
The Bingo board is very fun and usually it is a weekly thing where you have to opt in. But, the last four Bingo boards that I completely did, I had to submit for less points because the Discover square would never credit me. I always did the Discover deal over 100 points on the FIRST day of the bingo board, and seven days later it is still not shaded in. So, I always have a full board BUT, when I submit it, I cannot submit a full board because the Discover square is still pending. This is very frustrating and dishonest. They need to remove the Discover square because it is a problem. I am not the first to complain about this. I think this is very dishonest and needs to be removed from the board completely. I have belonged to mypoints over 15 years and I love it, but this is the second biggest issue I am having with their Company. The first is I cannot sign into the Mobile App, it continually says "not authorized" but Apple Phones can sign into that mobile app and I do not have an Iphone and don't want one either.
Seldom get to complete a survey. Most days every survey invite gives the above message; not even 5 pts for trying anymore.
They are not as good as they used to be. Half the time you complete a survey and end up not getting your points. Now I have to do a screen shot when it is at 95% complete oor higher to prove that I took it. Even then, when you contact them tey send some pretyped bunch of crap. I respond, with my photo and still sometimes do not get my points. So who is cheating? Where are my points going? It is bad when you do surveys but you have to follow up on THEM to make sure they are dong what they are supposed to.
I ordered 2 visa gift cards back in February I reached out to mypoints months and months trying to get the cards, to this day this is December 2021 and still no reply on getting this cards. People do not waste your time with this company, used to be good, good no more,. Customer service a real joke. Telling you submit ticket. I did this many times still no reply. This is 32 thousands points I gave up for nothing. People do not waste your time with this company.
Although it took more points than other sites to get what you want, I stuck with this site with this being my second or third year. In 2020 I earned a total of 6 - $25 gift certificates, but in 2021 I have only earned two and My Points has to this date not honored my last gift certificate of $25 that I redeemed points for on October 29! I have written them several times with no resolution or even an acknowledgement for my last letter. Don't bother with this site.

They knocked it down and said that I purchased 2 Amazon gift cards, which was a flat out lie. I cant stand amazon for certain reasons. I have proof and witnesses to everything that has happened with mypoints. I have contacted them through email and have received answers back. They have not followed through yet as they said. If this goes on with no satisfaction I will take legal action. I will also hope that others join me. That is not necessary but I will give others the option at their own discretion. False and misleading information may only be a misdemeanor but we deserve what we work for!
