Beware of charges. They say FREE. It is not free. When you get to the end of filling out your resume, they charge you or you don't get it. On top of that, they automatically put you on a paid subscription after you pay. I went and cancelled it before I even got off the site and they still took $25 out of my acct. Now I have to wait to get a refund. They are a dishonest company and rely on people who probably don't check their bank accounts often. And their advertising is false. It is not FREE!

I used "My Perfect Resume" for several months. I found it very helpful. I began using it in my last semester of graduate school when I was required to turn in a portfolio. Once I had put all my hard work into this resume I certainly did not want to lose it. When it was time to start applying for jobs... my resume was there waiting for me. This program made it so easy to change formats and information! I did see the reviews that people were shocked that they were charged a monthly fee. I read the fine print so to speak. I knew that after the 1-2 week promotion that I would be charge roughly $10/wk to keep my hard work ready to pull up at any given time. It was worth it to me. The resume looks good, but the system is clitchy, hops around painful to wrap up quickly. Also the additional cost if you don't cancel, is not up front, hidden. How about give the service for one resume up front, and allow us to be done.

After wasting lots of time composing, I could not use because of unequal section, paragraph and indent spacing. When composing or editing, cursor would go out of sight where you couldn't see what you were editing. Individual word spell check wouldn't work. These people know how worthless their product is and are just trying to scam people for money. After reading reviews will cancel my credit card so they won't rip me off like they have so many other people. These people are worse than crackheads breaking into your home and stealing.

I used this service back in January of 2017. I tried the free trial, and canceled after I finished my resume (knowing I wouldn't use it again after). Despite canceling, I'm still being charged the $25 a month fee. I haven't been given any emails or notifications that I was still being charged, and recently discovered they've taken $150 from my bank account. When I emailed them about it, they wrote back an email discussing something entirely different and won't respond and WILL NOT refund me. I'm extremely angry and am getting my bank involved. I usually do not go out of my way to write bad reviews, but I strongly advise people to stay away from this website.

Just like many businesses these days this company have completely scammed me. We are human just like those running this fraud. I have been charged 40 pounds by this company even though I only used there service once costing me only around 3 pounds which was made obvious on the CV page. I have now tried to cancel my account and get a refund but I have yet to get an email regarding my refund and the only email about cancelling my account had a phone number on it I was told to call. Tried phoning it multiple times and it is obviously a fake number. Do not trust this company.

Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
