Created my 'free trail' to which I had to pay £3 to enable me to down load it.

Just noticed that they have then taken £25 pound from my account?... why?, if this is a free trial I never agreed to anything after the trail.

The ability to print, email, or download your CV and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To be able to use all premium futures of the service we offer customer a 14 days access for $2.95 USD and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 days and that it can be canceled at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.

Scam

Just like some other reviews, I have to agree this website is a scam. Upon completing my resume with them I paid a fee of $2.95. I am not one who wants a "membership" with online services such as this one, and when I read the fine print, stating a monthly fee of $30 something dollars would be automatically withdrawn from my account, I immediately wanted nothing to do with it so I canceled. Unfortunately, money was taken out yesterday (nearly 3 months after I initially started the process. I had to go back in and cancel it. When I called customer service this morning, they said I only canceled it yesterday and there was nothing they could do. I clearly had not been active with my account, but he said there was nothing they could do. Avoid this website if you can.

I could not get my cards to go through

I could not get my cards to go through. It turns out it was a problem because it was an international transaction. This needs to be stated on the account somewhere so that steps can be made ahead of the transaction. I can try other cards, but I will have the same results. It is frustrating to have the wrong cue from your business. I had to call to get the information needed and then call my bank. Then everything went through smoothly.

It doesn't allow for much customization and is actually difficult to use at times for what should be simple edits. And now I'm apparently being charged a second time for editing the resume I made last month when I thought this was a one time purchase. I will not be using this service in the future and will not be recommending it to anyone else.

Misleading information
October 21, 2022

I stumbled across this website and thought I would give it a try.
The website, (www.myperfectresume.com) had a 14 day trial package for $2.95.
It mentioned that users would be able to print off resumes, cover letters and other important
Documents as much as needed. I attempted to print my resume 10 minutes after I signed up but had no such luck. I called customer service and spoke with Mark, but again was not successful. I proceeded to tell Mark that I wanted to cancel my 14 day trial package. (This website said that users can cancel their membership anytime by calling customer service or by e-mail) Mark then proceeded to tell me that I would need to e-mail my perfect resume if I wanted to in fact cancel this membership.
This website is very misleading!

I chose this site because it was listed as offering free resume assistance. Of course, once I got everything entered, I was informed that you have to join the site to print your resume. The price for a few days access was reasonable so I went ahead and enrolled, but I really struggled to get the template to format correctly. In the end, I got frustrated and just typed my resume with a similar format using Microsoft Word.
There are some good tips on this site but, for me, it simply wasn't worth it.

Great service

As I said above the call center provides great service when you have a problem. He was polite and helpful and made a special accommodation for our situation. We didn't use the service and they gave us alomost all our money back after four moths of not realizing they were charging us.

Total scam!

Thought i'd try and refresh my old CV for £1.95, little did i know MYPERFECTCV would be taking £23.80 from my account every month. Fraudsters and i will be taking sererve action! How dare they scam people like this. Disgusting and degrading! Anthony Khan is my name, look out for me as I'm coming for all my stolen money and compensation.

Wonderful

The representative who helped me was named Tadeo Camacho. He went above and beyond to not only solve the issues I had discussed over the phone but also remained patient and diligent with me to even negotiating a subscription price that was even better than what I had been asking for. Tadeo's customer service should be a standard for all trainees because, by the end of the phone call, I was left more than satisfied with his services.

Awesome In Every Way!

The resume builder was awesome, and I received a few compliments on my resume at my new job, too! The best part about this website is the customer service, though. Andrea Sanchez helped my through a complicated billing issue - it was my bank's fault, not the site's. Sanchez's support was immediate, and we resolved this issue quick without any stress or problems, and I even got a refund without asking for it. Awesome site! If I wasn't creating my own resumes now, I would still use this site. 10/10 Recommend.

I feel you should make provision for using 3 names in the monogram. Also, there was nothing said about a cost involved to use your service -- I thought I had chosen a free template to work from. I will be canceling within the 14 days.

First, claiming that the service is free when I'm being charged a fee is false advertising. Second, the site saying something has been saved when it wasn't and not having an actual save button on every page to guarantee that changes are saved is ridiculous.

I have an issue with the fact that there was nothing telling me pricing at all untill ive spent over an hour building my resume, Your pricing and fee structure needs to be upfront, currently it is very shady in my opinion since i thought it was going to be free, if i was told upfront i would have still paid but i dont feel the greatest about your company and service after i have to pay or lose my work when i wasnt told this up front
