Short answer: Don't use myperfectresume.com or any website like it. It's designed to hook you in for a nominal fee and then eat your wallet in the hopes you aren't paying attention.
Case in point. I used the website to build a resume and paid the few dollars it took to be able to access its services but the "trial" was never explicitly said.
Now, it was foolish of me to take them at their word. I thought that I paid one time fee and when I check my bank statement I come to find that I've been charged $23.95 for their monthly fee. I check my e-mails and find no notifications from them of the charge or the fact that my account was reactivated. After contact them they said they have this information in the email they sent and declined to give me refund, even knowing I didn't use the service and contacted them on the day of they charged me. I feel like I've been robbed.
Don't be like me. Take the steps to cancel temporary subscriptions immediately. Better yet, don't get suckered into one in the first place.
