I spoke to a man called Andy who dealt with my cancellation request. He was extremely polite and extremely helpful! I wish all customer service people were like him, thank you Andy. My cancellation ID was ******* and I would lol Andy to get a lot of praise!

I write this review with so much joy in my heart. I have always been unsure about how to come up with a beautiful Resume till my friend asked me to look up MY Perfect CV.

L was called for a job interview as a Customer Service Assistant in an Electricity Distribution Company. One of the panel members started by commending my clarity in stating my objectives, education and job functions. He appreciated my ability to clearly communicate what I hope to offer the company. This is as a result of the proper CV organisation MY Perfect CV helped me achieved.

After two weeks, I was called to take up the job!

Great cv maker.

Loved the cv maker, disliked the way it was a subscription and only told at end when trying to get the made cv, should be made clear from the start. Have an option to buy cv only without having to sign to site and then have to cancel, which you have easily ill admit.

Customer Service

The customer service is really nice and thoughtful, they take you through every small bits of details. And would offer you the best deals. I wanted to unsubscribe from my subscription and was greeted by "Paola Figueroa", who was genuinely kind and patient. She also ensured I was happy with my decisions and wasn't confused by the outcomes of my choices. She helped me step by step and I'm really pleased by the process. Overall I rated them 5/5, because although I was leaving they're subscription they still wanted the best for me and my interests; also welcome me back with open arms.

You fill the form to make your free CV, which is after all not free...
So ok, you spent some time building it, you pay the one off...
Except it is not a one-off, it is a subscription.
So, when you look for a job, you are so rich that you will be paying £16/month just to have your CV kept on their system? What a joke! And what a SCAM...

Automatically takes a monthly direct debit from your account, £25 in my case, does not send you invoices - or any further communications of any kind - website does not allow you to automatically cancel your subscription - website does not give any details on your subscription - customer service line goes straight to voicemail. This is simply a method of getting your account details and taking as much money as they can before you notice, then make it difficult to cancel the direct debit

Hi Simon,
Keep in mind that MyPerfectCV is a resume builder that gives the user a chance to try our service prior to commit to a full access subscription. Once you finish editing your resume, the service allows you to download the free text version of the resume or save it in your account for further review. The options for emailing, downloading and printing the resume in Word format are part of the full access subscription. To further our user experience, we provide the option of a 14-day trial for a small fee. When you select our 14-day trial enrollment, it provides all details on screen that after the 14th day it will auto enroll into the monthly subscription service. It also explains, that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that, unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription. Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well.
We apologize for any confusion this may have risen. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns regarding our products and services.

I unfortunately had to cancel due to personal reasons. I got in touch today and asked to cancel my account. They were very professional about it all.and curtious.not making my curcumstancies of having to cancel an issue
I actually did get a part time job through them and using the cv i made was very good.
Thankyou for cancelling so quickly and helping me out.

They have continued taking from my account despite me cancelling subscription. Unfortunatey they also do jot have facility to cancel online. Do not use as misleading the public and a waste of time. I would like a full refund and explanation why this was not cancelled and full guarantee this has now been dine. I will report to bank as fraudulant transaction. Id *******

The customer service operator was very calm, i felt slightly irritable at the beginning of the conversation but she managed to calm me down with her calm demeanour. She offered me a good deal and made me feel as though she had my best interest at heart. She managed to work out the refund without hesitation She was a true professional and an asset to your company.

The downfall was that i was on the phone for approximately 30 minutes which irritated me as i was unsure if i was to be charged for the call. She assured me that the call was free but still i was unsure of the 0808 number being free. I believed that my query was dealt with in 15 minutes but felt as though i was kept on the phone unnecessarily.

Outstanding customer service

I was having trouble with creating an effective CV and called to cancel my subscription as I thought it wasn't worth the money. However, the lady I spoke to, Jackie, was SO helpful and helped me to understand what needed improving on my CV and spent 30 minutes going through it with me to get it to an outstanding standard. I was not expecting that service at all, I didn't realise that was even a service they offered, but I am so grateful as it allows me to continue my job search with better chances and less stress. She was also so friendly and encouraging when talking about my job search, I am super glad that I called and got to speak to this lovely woman. Thank you so much for your help. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Paola Figueroa was exceptionally helpful and an absolute gem. Been using this website for a while now and have always loved it. I realised however that I didnt need membership for a couple of months and because of the automated debit payment I had a payment deducted from my account. Getting on to customer was no issue. Paola was very helpful and I had my refund process initiated in no time. Overall I highly recommend myperfectcv for an allround 5 star service.

They first tell you they will only charge you $2,1, but it's a trick since it is hidden in the text they will then instantly charge you $21.
Then, when you realize this and try to cancel the subscription on the website, the link doesn't work. How convenient for them.
This is a scam.
