Never having taken a Defensive Driving course before, I was a bit skeptical. I thought I would benefit more from being in a classroom setting. This was an excellent class to take online and I truly learned more than expected. It was extremely convenient to take from home and affordable. Thank you for making this easy for someone that is not "tech savvy". I hope I never have to take Defensive Driving again, however, if necessary, I would certainly use Improv again and highly recommend to anyone in need. Thank you for making this fun and very informative.
Really awesome way of presenting otherwise boring material into a comedic platform. It kept my attention which in turn showed me that I don't know everything after driving for 32 years (obviously... or I wouldn't be here) it actually showed me a lot of bad habits that I have developed over those years. Not perfect but I am now working on those bad habits!
I received my first ticket ever (in over 50 years of driving) and was nervous about having to "go to driving school". As I read over all the online programs, Improv impressed me with it's cost (lowest) and its sense of making this learning experience one of fun as well as helpful information. Once I started and it wasn't at all intimidating, I relaxed and enjoyed the daily experience. I did one or two chapters at a time. And I was encouraged by doing well on the quizzes after each chapter. :) I highly recommend Improv to any one looking for a positive experience and a few laughs along the way. Many thanks!
Fairly easy, but I just don't like to pay on-line. I would nix the introductionary comic video; it's a waste of time (unfortunately). But the narrative jokes are good and the very last comic is one to keep as well.

I completed the coarse in less than the mandatory time required and decided to retake some of the modules. Once I started my review I was trapped into completing the entire coarse again. My previous completions of the next module being invalidated as I went. I think it must be a bug in the software, but be aware of the urge to review if you complete the coarse early.
My improv.com was a very useful tool in learning defensive driving skills. Not only was it convenient to go on and off the site as needed, it held your attention to learn and comprehend with the comics who described the rules and the luxury to be responsible to drive a motor vehicle.
It was recommended by many others as the easiest and most user-friendly. Without experiencing other schools, this is hard to assess. I found this course to be tougher than I expected. I suppose the whole idea was to pay attention, take good notes, and study each chapter intensively.
I did not find the comedy clips and jokes useful at all. In fact, I skipped all of it, because it distracted me from the important material. I also found the text of the course to be a bit wordy. I would have rather seen a format with shorter sentences and phrases, and a lot more bullet points and lists.
Overall, I would still recommend this course. My guess is that others are much more laborious, even more difficult, even more boring.
Did not like the questions asked before each chapter. Some of them were not correct. Ex; what address is correct for the street provided. Correct one was not listed so I clicked none of the above and I still came back not correct. And we only have 3 that can be wrong.
It was prompt and to the point for the purchase of the course. I didn't like when I finished reading all the information and listening to the videos I still had time left and to wait the additional time before taking the test, but then realizing 240 hours are required so the system forces you to stop and review material again. So this may be good in this way. Overall I would recommend this course because I've taken other courses in the past
Great experience, easy to use, good course, there were things I didn't know. I especially like the video portion. I'd have liked the video portion to be longer which would approach face-to-face course instructions more. This is minor though, I really thought the content was very good and so was the presentation.
The ordering process is easy and straight-forward. The class/materials are interesting and enjoyable to read. I would definitely recommend Improv Driving School to others in need((:
I love the corny jokes that break up sections!
The course was easy to get through. But it felt overly conversational to me. I felt like the important info got lost a bit. But I passed the final test! So it worked.:-) The only other thing that was strange, was that upon purchase it said the Courts would get my completed certificate electronically upon completion of the final test. But then when i finished the test, there was a line that said it might take up to ten days for the Courts to process my completed certificate. So that got me worried (my due date was less than 10 days away) and so i went to the Court to verify everything. They did indeed get it within 24 hours of my completing it...so all was well. Thanks for everything!
The Driver Safety course by Improv is fine. I like the online convenience with the flexibility to do one segment at a time on my schedule. I think the course could use an update. Some of the humor is not good as an example.
It was pretty good, at the beginning I didn't trust in them but after my wife help me up with some research of them, I decided to trust enough in them, I purchased an item, the item comes to my house real quick, in just 5 days after the purchase and the product is so good, so I'm a new happy customer.
Thanks guys.
The only thing I didn't care for is the timers for the individual sections. It didn't really take that long to read through the sections. There's only 4 "questions" to answer after each section and they are not that hard to merit you sitting at your computer for 30 minutes or 40 or even 50 minutes.
I think you could have asked better questions on the final test pertaining to the needs of elderly drivers. For one example: I think it is necessary for older people to know that intersections are the most dangerous and that right turns are better than left turns. In other words, plan ahead to make left turns!
Great and easy accept there's an option to select a 30 minute processing upon completion for a fee that is unnecessary, since you can download the completion immediately upon completing the course. Maybe remove that from the options?
My son really enjoyed the online class, the jokes and funny scenarios were great! The site itself was a bit confusing. Once my son finished the class it didn't want to let him back in to look at anything he'd done, and the site was frozen on the confirmation page that he completed the course. We had to ask for help and they sent us a link to the practice test - and when we started that, it looked like it was saying we would be taken directly to the test and not the practice test, which was confusing and we had to ask for help again. But they DID respond very quickly and help us when we needed it, so we were happy with the customer service.
I will probably take this course again eventhough it hasn't changed from when I first took it over six years ago. I really like the narrated version, but I don't feel you should have to pay extra for it.
At first it was good. Then the pictures and put downs on seniors got to be overboard. We are good people...Professionalls with ailing bodies and bad days. Would you do this to their face... no...shame on you. It's disrespectful...
