Drove 20 miles to nearest office. I had an appointment and an appointment card with date and time listed. All medical staff were off that day! An organization that is this incompetent should not be in health care.
Should get zero stars. Eye Doctor's service is unsatisfactory. Incorrect scripts are given to patients and the staff are passive-aggressive and condescending.
Got an exam and afterwards they told us that they did some retinal exam that was $45. They absolutely rush you in and out. Only care about getting the payments and not your eye health, this place is as bad as an old school pill mill!
I will never order frames from this company again. Two years in a row, I've ordered glasses from the company and have never gotten what I've paid for. I tried a new location and received glasses different from what I wanted. The optician replied, "They are only a little different."
The charged me an extra warranty that I did not ask for. Found out when my FSA denied the charges. I asked them specifically not to charge me anything but the cost and service for the day. The itemization of charges was not clear on this
The customer service skills today were excellent, Maya was attentive patient and knowledgeable. She explained my coverage and met my needs. Very customer focused. Thank you for having Maya on your team. When I decided the original f frames I picked out did not compliment my face she helped me to find another pair with a smile.
This has happened now for over 2 years, since they took over the private practice. They price the frames 29% over the manufacturers website.They then say they will give you 20% off. When I complain that they are more than mfg. List, they match the list and say they can't take any more off because that's over the 20% they're allowed to. So that brings it down to full list - what everyone else sells the frame at before they discount it. They even put it all on paper for you to see. Then they say that their farms come with a 1 year warranty. They then put $39 on your bill to cover that. They never asked if I wanted it.
I have been a patient here for 2 years. This year I got 4 pair of glasses - 3 progressive and 1 computer.
A week after picking up my glasses I was at the airport and I could not read the monitor. I went into the office to get my glasses checked and the prescription verified and everything checked out. I was told the next step was to get my eyes rechecked and I scheduled an appointment for the following Monday.
On Monday the office did everything they could to avoid rechecking my eyes. They rechecked all 4 pair of my glasses again (even though it had been don't 3 days prior), they had to read from a chart using 3 pairs of my glasses, they had my glasses checked again….and they were still coming up with a list of things when I left.
It was clear that they never had any intention of rechecking my eyes.
My initial eye exam was just a few weeks prior, so it's not like I was asking for a free eye exam. I was asking to have them rechecked since I could not see with the prescription they provided.
I now have to pay for another eye doctor to check my vision and I will also have to pay to get my glasses remade on 3 of the 4 pair. In no way is this acceptable.
After spending $1200 on a new pair of glasses, 2 adjustments, and being told that I will just have "to get used to them". 6 months later, they sit in a drawer absolutely worthless. The worst customer service ever. Don't waste your time or your money!
I want to thank the customer service, Karolina and Miss Sulema. They were outstanding, and they presented the product the glasses with good quality. I was pleased with all the service I received from them. They have always been very professional and helpful, and they go above and beyond to help me and find a perfect guy to my name, I was impressed with the quality they offered and the prices, thank you to Carolina and Sulema. We will see you again next year.
The optician is always great! The front desk staff lack manners and always act like the customers are an inconvenience. I have never had a smooth experience getting contacts or glasses here
I have been a customer for a few years. They got a new system and you have to confirm your appointment. I have updated my number multiple times and asked staff to make sure it was correct. Well the staff member didn't update so when I got there. I couldn't get seen because I didn't confirm. I will never step foot in there nor will I recommend them. The staff is different from when they first opened.
I have been buying prescription eyeglasses from MyEyeDr for years but I will NEVER go back due to the horrible service, quality issues, and price increases at their Waynesboro, PA location. When I got my latest prescription, I kept the frames I previously purchased at MyEyeDr and ordered the same lens features I normally get, including a scratch-resistant coating. With vision insurance, the Waynesboro office charged me $378 out of pocket just to replace my lenses. A couple months later, my glasses fell off the nightstand and were scratched from minimal impact. I took them to the Waynesboro office and asked a staff member if they could buff my lenses to minimize the scratches. She said no, my only option was to replace the lenses which would cost $666. The rep next to her told me I should have bought insurance for my glasses and they would have replaced them for free. She came across as cynical, telling me I would have been better off buying insurance for my glasses instead of paying for lens upgrades. No one mentioned insurance to me before. I explained that I chose to spend extra for scratch resistant lenses which should provide some type of coverage for scratches. I've never had lenses scratch this easily before. THE KICKER IS… I had to get new lenses and I didn't want to buy them from MyEyeDr considering the outrageous cost and poor quality. I needed to get my pupillary distance (PD) so I could buy prescription glasses online for a fraction of the price. The MyEyeDr rep refused to give me the PD measurements in my file! So I went to ForEyes, where they kindly took measurements and gave me my PD free. Then I bought a beautiful pair of new glasses online, from a separate company, with progressive lenses and all the upgrades for $123 total. So, I ended up getting a new pair of glasses online, with all the same lens options, and PAID 400 PERCENT LESS than what MyEyeDr would have charged me to replace my lenses alone. I refuse to do business with people who are rude, greedy, and look out for themselves vs customers.
I went to the Clarendon, VA, store on 4/29 and ordered a pair of glasses. One month passed, and nothing - email, text, or call. One month later, I called and canceled the order. I had never experienced a health service company that did not care about its customers until MyEyeDr. And their website only caters to appointments. Hardly any feedback on orders. Their message on my order was they put in a rush request.
Had an exam and ordered glasses on 6/1 and was told that we would get the glasses by 6/20.6/20 came and went and we haven't heard from anyone. I tried calling the office and for 4 days I have been told that the McLean Ave, Yonkers store calls were being forwarded to Central Ave office and to "try tomorrow". I finally demanded that someone get a message to the McLean Ave office and have someone call me back. They finally called me back and told me the glasses would be another 5 days. I said I want a refund and I was immediately told "fine" rather than do service recovery and try to get my glasses quicker. The worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Over charge for regulars glasses they add up hiding fees from who knows what! I ended up paying like $200 xtra for stuff that I didn't even ask. I used the glasses 10 times the most and they broke in half
I went in for an eye exam. Was only there to get a new prescription for my contacts. I wear glasses, but was not going to replace the lenses at this time as I wear progressive lenses and they are expensive. I asked to have my glasses adjusted. The girl did and handed them back to me. I put them on and everything was foggy and blurry. I figured they were just dirty. I got to my car, took them off and examined the lenses. They had a ton of scratches all over both lenses. I put them back on, but it was impossible to see through them. I told the front desk staff and they said have a seat and wait for a manager. I waited 45 minutes. She told me the lenses were melted and that caused lots of cracks in the lenses. I was forced to buy new lenses. She said a waiver should have been signed. I was not given a waiver. The girl didn't tell me she would be heating up my lenses. I never would have agreed to that. The best the manager could do was offer 40% off. My lenses are over $600. This was their mistake, and now I have to pay for something I didn't plan on purchasing. Further, a week later I got a call saying the lens tracing was wrong and I needed to come back and have it redone. Do not waste your time coming here. Very disappointed that my lenses were damaged, I was not told how they would be adjusting my glasses and I had to pay quite a bit of money for a product I did not need.
Meyedr. At 7077 Normandy Blvd Ste 7, Jacksonville, FL ******* has failed to deliver my prescription safety glasses for the last 6 months. One excuse after another. Go elsewhere, considereal yourself warned.
I will never use this company ever again I've been waiting on my order for a month this would've never happened if I just went back to Lens crafters Myeyedr it's a No for me the receptionist are lazy at the Hyde park location they reroute all the calls to Beechmont location that location do answer the phone and very nice but they still won't ever get my business again.
What a bad experience for the MyeyeDr The person who attends gave me the glasses without seeing that they were ok. She did not give me the liquid with which the are cleaned the glasses when I asked for it, She told me you need it

Answer: Very legit have been couple times this month. Never have to wait over 15 min at the most. They have several offices I believe and they are not and do not try an scam you very reliable I would recommend them to anyone without delay
