Ordered directly from Motorola. Was given initial $10 trade in, plus $50 extra on order summary. However, when it came time to return money to me, I was denied after several hours on phone and email, I was not given back one red cent. I consider this fraud.
I purchased a Motorola G5 cell phone through Consumer Cellular. (Don't expect Consumer Cellular to support they product they sold you... they just tell you call Motorola direct... no accountability!) At any rate I began my nightmare with Motorola...
First, be prepared to press this and press that in order to just get in line for an infintiy of holding. When you finally get someone, they are both difficult to understand, and not at all familiar with the issue. I spent THREE days and I don't know how many hours with this tech and that tech, getting disconnected and having to call back and go through everything the OTHER tech went through... don't they make notes in your file? NOPE! And on the third day of trying, I was fially told that Motorola has no way of stopping pop ups THEY send about updates. And they call themselves a communication company.
Purchased phone through Motorola website...when it didn't work only offered refund for purchase amount less trade in of old phone. The trade in company isn't Motorola as I was led to believe on the Web site.
I have had 4 different Motorola phones over the last few years...I'll never get another... Chinese company is a proven ripoff...
I was told by support to use the phone and see if sound quality improved if not I could return for a full refund or get another phone paying any difference in price...
I was fully convinced that the brand has already been relegated to the history's dustbin, but after i have noticed that they are working on a whole new concept of mobile smartphones which should look like watches on the hand with flexible and I'd say "liquid" screen, then I thought like "wow'.
At the same time, these guys should work on their PR, cause the concept is very interesting, but there's a sense to think of how to represent it the wya the world will pay attention to it.
I Have had this phone for 6 years, has a corded base phone with answering machine and 2 cordless phones with separate charges, I lost one of the cordless phones March 6 2023, turns out I left on the wiper cowl of a customers car at my auto repair shop and found it on October 30 2023 after one of the rainiest summers ever, I shook all the water out and put it on the charger for the night, and it works as good as ever. That's quality built
Bought a Moto Stylus 4G in 2021.Got ONE OS update. They say that's all you get with that phone.Had I known that I would have bought a Samsung A23.
I have been a dedicated customer of Motorola products for a long time. During my recent trip to the United States, I purchased a new Mesh Router from Micro Center. I was considering both the Motorola 7023 Mesh and the T-P Link AC1200 Deco, and ultimately chose the Motorola due to its advertised coverage. However, I have encountered numerous issues with the Motorola Mesh system, which has been very disappointing. Additionally, the management software is quite basic compared to other brands. Regrettably, I have decided to no longer remain loyal to Motorola and will not be purchasing their products in the future. Instead, I have decided to switch to a TP-Link alternative. Looking back, relying solely on the product's reputation was a mistake on my part.
I order the moto razr plus in magenta with expedited shipping this was over a week ago and still haven't heard anything regarding the order ss it's still saying it's being built and no one at Motorola can tell me what's going on
This is the worst excuse for a cell phone I've ever owned. It freezes up literally every 10 mins. I have done everything the internet has suggested and no change...at all. Phone tries to blame it in websites. "So and so website is not responding" Wtf every site I go to isn't responding? Nope it's this piece of $#*! phone that's not responding. Can't wait to replace it with something reliable like an Iphone or a Samsung. Next salesperson tries to sell me a moto piece of crap phone I'm going to get physically violent with.
I would put zero stars if I could, they are so dishonest. If you buy a phone from them and it doesn't work they will not replace the phone or refund your money.
I have used motorola phones since I was in high school and continue to use this brand today. I love their technology and performance. The purchase experience is not the best, but I love the brand.
First off, their return policy is 14 days. Period. No other company in the nation has such little faith in their product. I had trouble on day 16. But i had paid for insurance that was cheaper through them. Heres how it works. You send your broken phone to them. For up to 10 weeks (meanwhile you have no phone) they attempt to fix it or send you a refurbished piece of junk the last person had broken.
When you buy the insurance through them, it is all a lie. Nothing is real when you need help When you try to make a claim, then they tell you to send it to them at your charge. I mailed it back to them their home office and told them to stick it.
Restarts 15 to 20 a day
Crashes constantly
Pictures are horrible, you cant even make the videos out. Three times i tried to work this out.
Motorola edge is a piece of trash
Save your money
Fyi
Verizon sells it for 1200 plus monthly fees. And their crappy sruck there apps. Thats to cover all the returns they kniw they will get. Cheaper the phone, less returns they see. History repeats itself except that ill never think motorola is decent again.
You can buy it from motorola for 400 but two weeks later and they will tell you oh well thats just to bad. Only a person that hates you would give you a motorola product of any kind. Customer service is rude and hangs up on you. Once they got you, you become their office joke. They laugh about screwing people
Save you money, no service, crashes at least 4 times per day, cant connect, and the pictures would be more accurate from a 3 year old.
Connection issue constantly
STAY AWAY FROM MOTORLA
Youll be sorry
I really have a good experience with this device, the device is easy, powerful, usable with our SR in the market.
The noted problem is only on the display, it sometimes damaged when the device fall from the top.
I had been using Motorola phones for quite some time. One week ago for the first time I bought a phone direct from them, I received a confirmation stating that my package was shipped but didnt gave me an UPS tracking number. I had called costumer service twice asking for a tracking number both times they said they will call me back within 24 hours. Im still waiting for a simple UPS tracking number and obviously no new phone yet. I can only imagine how the service would be with a more serious and hard to resolve issue.
I purchased my Motorola one 33 days ago yesterday I accidentally bumped my phone and it fell off the couch as you can see from the pictures it only fell 22 in into plush carpet it shattered my screen and the screen protector and Motorola wants to send me to another state for repairs. Buyer beware.
If you have all day to spend on the telephone trying to get through to customer service and talk to their automated system you have more time than I do I have spent 5 hours on the phone trying to get through to Motorola I got put on hold 40 minutes and the guy picks up the phone and says Motorola sorry click that is so not cool. They want you to pay an outlandish price for their phones. But they don't wish to offer you customer service and they're not going to pick up the phone and use it neither. With everything going on in this world why do you people at Motorola have to be so damn rude inconsiderate and uncompassionate uncompassionate and really don't give a rats patootie if they help you or not they got your money that's all they want they don't have to keep up with their part. Then when you get down to the bottom of this review they want to tell you it's against the law to make false claims what is but they do it all the time and get away with it. So why is it not against the law for Motorola to continuously lie to their customers and make false accusations. The only reason I give him a one-star rating is cuz I had to give him something to post this
When I needed to return two phones for a reason that was my fault, they let me, and even paid for shipping. The service reps I talked to were courteous and helpful. I was so pleased with the ease of the return that I didn't even consider another brand for my next purchase; it was Motorola all the way. They get your order out quickly, and most of the Motorola phones I've had have worked well and lasted a long time. There's also less bloatware installed compared to a Samsung phone I own.
A man buys a cellphone. The cellphone is shipped. The shipper sees an apartment building and notices no apartment is listed. Instead of checking with the roster of residents inside the building the shipper skips delivery, requests a phone number for the recipient and calls it a day. The recipient calls the next day to the shipper, the shipper tells him only Motorola, the sender, can update the address. The recipient wonders why did the tracking details request him to call but calls motorola customer service who is closed because they're lazy. The recipient calls again to motorola the next day and updates them with his new address. Motorola updates the shipper with the address. The shipper, ups, shows the update in their tracking details. Yet the next day ups delivers to the old address. What's worth is a signature was required. Who was the signer? Its not the recipient as the recipient lost his legal right to be in the apartment building the prior day at noon. Yet motorola is requiring the recipient to wait until UPS completes its own investigation before Motorola will issue a new phone or a refund. WHAT DID THEIR CUSTOMER DO WRONG? The only thing I can think of is use Motorola. Purchase phones at best buy or Amazon -- not directly from the manufacturer. They dont have the processes in place to treat their customers reasonably or respectfully or even just humanely. Motorola sold, took the money, for a cell phone from the recipient on Nov 15 and today, Dec 9, has still not delivered a cellphone.
Who's to blame? Largely UPS -- they didn't require a signature or update their routes to include the new address in the delivery schedule. But Motorola could have made things right with the customer long ago. What would be the unit cost to them to issue a replacement phone they manufactured? So, so little. And if the customer was found to be a bad actor all they would have to do is block the IMEI of either cell phone. There are so many ways to control customer fraud here. But they simply stick it to the little guy cuz they hate their customers.
They manufacture good quality products, Motorola phones are durable, they also have good quality security communication gadgets (radios) though their products are not that readily available compared to others
Well after the motorola been sold by usa to china, it has phones with latest technology which are beating the market
Great devices being released nowadays, I must say very satisfied, not thrilled but very satisfied with the current new releases.
