Please, please do not purchase from this vendor. I am currently in a customer service nightmare with them over a refund for items I purchase for christmas. The items are not as advertised and when I requested a refund I was told to keep the items and give as gifts because I would have to return the items to China and it will take a long time and be very expensive.
This company is a awful. Two items were the wrong colors... not my fault. The labels on the package had the correct color but the item in the bag did not correspond. One of the items was supposed to button but that was impossible. I have been communicating with them for the past 3 weeks too no avail. They do respond but they think I want to play Let's Make A Deal. Do not waste your money,
I ordered three tops from Modecici. All three were of cheap, stiff polyester fabric. When I contacted them they said other people liked them and to send them back to the warehouse in China it would cost $30-$35! Total scam and misleading presentation of products!
The item I ordered ran small. After numerous emails back and forth, still no resolution. I have been asked to send pictures measuring the garment, me in the garment etc etc. Each time they have one more demand. I would NEVER order from this company again!
I ordered 2 blouses that were advertised as a cotton/linen blend. After 7 weeks I finally received them but they were 100% polyester. When I contacted Modacici and sent pictures they stated that they weren't damaged so if I wanted to return them it would cost $35-45. There response was infuriating, not only the charges and that they weren't damaged but they said that they were lovely and if I didn't like them I could give them away.
I ordered a pair of boots and when they arrived they looked NOTHING like the ones advertised online that I ordered. They will not refund you or allow you to return unless you pay to ship back to China which makes the refund basically nothing. Never have I been more disappointed with a company's customer service and product. They are the cheapest shoes I have ever seen. I would not wear them if they were free and that is the truth.
I ordered a pair of brown boots from ModeCici;(pics# 1 & 6). It took over three weeks to receive my order. I ordered the boots ( pics 1 & 6 below) because they looked very nice and they were priced very cheap. ALTHOUGH, the boots I received / pics #2 thru 5-same boot/ different pics below) DID NOT have the same markings of the boots I had ordered. The boots looked VERY cheaply made. I shouldn't ordered them, and kept to my belief: "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!" My advice, be wary of anything that has a CHEAP price tag! You are taking a chance on quality! In order for me to return these, I have to pay for the shipping BACK to China, they said; or I could keep the boots, pay $26.95 plus s/h; getting a $3.00 refund.
I definitely learned a lesson from this purchase. I hope this review helps someone in deciding on a purchase through ModeCici.
