DISGRACEFUL

Really hate it and don't recommend it to anyone ordered 11 items and returned them because I ordered 2 skirts and 2 dresses same size different colors 1 dress was smaller than the other so as the skirts, the items were smelly material were not good, after I returned the items they lost them and they didn't refund my money over 300 USD gone just like In the blink of an eye

SCAM!

I placed an order of 3 dresses totaling $50.13 on 05/01, on 05/05 I received an text message from the company saying they can not ship me my items and that the order has been canceled and they will refund my money. OK, great, they must be out of stock. I receive refund 3 days later of $16.99 for ONE DRESS, they still owe me $33.14 for the other 2 dresses but no one is responding to any of my emails or calls. Now I am out of money and Eid presents because I foolishly trusted that this would be a legitimate company. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

One of the worse customer service ever. I am an online shopper and I am familiar with online shopping. When a site make a mistake and you complain with proof they usually apologize and try to fix it not make nonsense excuses. Some sites even go further after fixing the issue, and send a coupon for you as an apology.I don't know what's up with Muslims sites and their entitlement. I once got the wrong size sent to me and I sent a complain with proof and all I got was sorry ship it back at your own expense and order another one. They absolutely didn't care that they made a mistake. I over looked at the situation and didn't want to argue with them. A family member of mine once made a large order and something technically went wrong with the site and they charged her the same order five times. And shipped the same thing five times. She tried contacting them to explain that they charged her five times and for them to cancel it. No response! After a while all she got "after you receive your orders just return everything at your expense. Another problem is their false advertising. They advertise " Free shipping for orders over $50, available sitewide, and limited time only" to make people rush to buy. Then they charge you when you check out. My bag even said "Great! You've bagged free express shipping! And then I get charged. I contacted them to explain everything with screenshots. And all I got was oh no it said something else and wasn't for all products, and it clearly said "available sitewide" with the other comment assuring I got free shipping when I checked out. They also usually reply to any complain with some automatic nonsense. Modanisa got some great products. But If they continue to treat customers horribly after they spent their hard earn money, they will lose them. Stop false advertising and dismissing customers complains. I really hope a Muslim based company can do better!

I have ordered 5 products online from Modanisa (paid the prices+shipping). One of the product was defected due to bad fabric quality. I checked their return policy of defected items and I have done everything as they said. But they never get back to me. After that, I decided to pay for the shipping back by myself. They responded quickly when I told them I will pay myself for the return and they sent my the returning labels. I paid the shipping to return the defected item. According to the tracking from the DHL, Modanisa has received their defected item on 17th January 2018. They did not notify me by email or refunded my money back. I paid to much to receive and to return this defected item and they did not refund me to this date,
I would not buy from them again. If you do not want to waste your money avoid this greedy retailer.
Update:
Today Modanisa emailed me that they have not received the PRODUCTS Despite the DHL tracking that shows they have already received it on 17th Jan. I am really speechless!

Do not buy!

The posted guarantee shipment for eid and lied now thousand of people will not get their items for eid in time. As a Muslim retailer they should know how important new items for eid is.

Cheap Bags

Order online problems

I was very excited with Islamic clothing since I've been looking for style/taste for my liking and found this website. Unfortunately I'm frustrated by their online payment method keeps saying that either my bank don't' approve the transaction or incorrect information. I'm so surprised this is the very first and only problem I've encountered with online payments that I have no problems with prior to this website, I even ordered from Islamic fashion site in India only a week ago no problems but their fashion style isn't what I was looking for and Modanisa has more offer to what I've been looking for that met my taste/style. I was told that there were technical problems and try again later and I've tried again, only to be denied with check your correct email address and I'm like huh? Then I tried to reset password only denied saying password change failed. Really?
As for USA address, Modanisa asked for county* that we don't use, we uses state* so I don't know if that's the technical problem.

I am scared

Sadly my birthday is close and i wanted to buy from here however the multitude of negative reviews from here is too overbearing if all these people say that they charge too much for shipping that's a problem. Don't say 48 hrs if u know its not coming in 48 hours, and the fact that they charge extra shipping based on your country AFTER you done paid their shipping is too much. After i pay online i shouldn't have to HUNT someone down for my package nor should I get a response saying I owe ANY more money to customs or whoever... YOU pay customs not me that YOUR job as the company that is so pathetic.

I had been excited to try out a new company with modest fashion but I was seriously disappointed with the quality of the items I had received (including the smell of cigarette smoke in all of my items!) and the experience I had with trying to return my items. When I first opened my package, I immediately could see the low quality of the fabric and stitching — however, I did know that it was cheap prices and could have been a possibility. What was unpleasantly surprising was the smell of cigarette smoke in each article of clothing. Due to this (and especially because that smell is hard to get out), I wanted to return my items. I used their Easy Return Center and had multiple pages with errors. Then, I could not access my return form or shipping label. I tried reaching out to customer service on Whatsapp without luck and only received auto-generated responses that claimed there was no return shipping info for the order number that I gave. I tried to call their customer service number but was never able to reach them. Now I am stuck with items I do not want, can't return them, and can't get a refund. I definitely will not be shopping with them again and will be telling my friends to avoid their company.

I've been buying clothes from this website for a while now. I live in Australia, there are not a variety of options available for Islamic wear so this website was a god send. Everything was fine until they removed their own currency, TL, from their website. I was informed by one of their workers after inquiry that I would have to buy from that point from the 3 currencies that were offered USD, GBP and EURO. They're a company based in Turkey but I can't but from their own bloody currency!
For example:
I bought a 9 items which should have amounted to 300 TL
Had to buy it in $219.75 USD, which converted to AUD cost me $309
$219.75 USD converted to TL equals to 611.07 Turkish Lira...
They're abusing overseas buyers! This is despicable!
They pocketed an extra 300 TL for doing nothing! Us overseas buyers are paying double for what the people in Turkey would be paying. How is this fair?
This site SHOULD be only charging for shipping costs and nothing more!
Won't be buying from here ever again.

Hit and Miss

I have ordered from Modanisa a couple of times - its a bit hit and miss. Some garments fit well, others have terrible fittings and will have to be returned if you're not prepared to pay for them to be altered. The customer service is not great - don't expect UK standards, I ordered 3 dresses on the basis of an offer of buy two dresses and get the third for £1. In reality, I only really wanted one particular dress but ordered another one to take the benefit of the offer. However, when my order arrived there were only two dresses and the one that I really wanted was not included. I e-mailed Modanisa to query this but received no answer. I then telephoned them and was advised that the missing dress was faulty when received by them so they did not include this in the order but applied the discount pro rata. There was no explanation of this in the invoice which was sent to me or any option to choose a replacement dress. Also, one of the dresses received was a terrible fit - I'm a normal size 8 but the upper part of this dress was ridiculously tight and not what I would class as 'modest' at all. I contacted Modanisa again to see if I could order another two dresses to replace the dress which was missing from my order and the unsuitable dress on the basis of the original offer but was told that this campaign no longer applied - not particularly satisfying given that I only ordered the dresses on the basis of the original offer.

Very confused by all of the bad reviews, I can see how people may have bought low-quality items or made mistakes with sizing, as the website could be a little bit clearer, but I think a bit of common sense is also needed when buying online. I chose my items very carefully, matching up measurements and considering the cut, fabric etc over a period of a few days before buying. I was very pleased with my two orders, which both arrived within a week of ordering, everything accounted for and good quality material (albeit with some loose threads which needed to be snipped off), and no extra taxes or delivery costs were charged (I live in europe). I made a small order first to gauge the quality of the items/ reliability and was pleased with that, so then went on to make a larger order.
Looking at other people's comments I would also just like to mention that I don't think you can reasonably expect Modanisa to take responsibility for extra taxes or charges because surely it is the responsibility of the buyer (who is buying from abroad!) to look into this before buying? I know it can be frustrating and perhaps Modanisa could mention on their site to look at what you may be charged depending on your country before you buy, in fact i'm sure this must already be in their FAQ!

Mashallah a great website for affordable islamic clothing, just use a bit of common sense and consider what you buy carefully and inshallah you'll be fine.

The items I ordered arrived on time but two of the sweaters are sewn in a way that no one any size can use because the underarm area is too tight to move. I have contacted them several times by phone, the customer service reps are polite but nothing gets done, they keep asking me to take pictures of the item several times, I'm not sure the reason for that; to waste my time, test my patience or get fed up of the process and just decide to keep the items. I would never purchase from modanisa website again.
Last phone call with a sales rep named Sahila, she put me on hold to talk to a manager about my case, then told me that the manager will research the case and get back to me, and that never happened, I just received another email asking me to take pictures of the items again in different angels which doesn't really make any sense to me since I'm not claiming the items are torn or dirty, THEY ARE SEWN THE WRONG WAY!

Worst Return Policy
July 22, 2020

I ordered scarves from them, and the quality was high. HOWEVER, the colors I got are NOT even close the cloros that are on the pictures. So DISAPPOINTING. And you also have to pay for the expensive return shipping, which is supposed to be FREE. It looks like their return policy was made on purpose to not let anyone's return their items! NEVER AGAIN!

Merchandise has been returned but no refund has been issued for $103. They r thieves! They sent all the wrong sizes. Everything was extra extra big. I chose the sizes according to their size charts

If there is less than one star I would give nothing. Very bad return policy even if they made a size mistake. I bought many items from Modanisa and evry time I buy over 8 items in one transaction and every time I receive an order it has to be 3 or 4 items smaller size, I have contacted them and sent them a proof of size measurements with a pic, they refunded me half the cost. Then next orders I thought I have to order 3 or 4 sizes bigger just to be on the safe side but unfortunately I got my dress wich costed me $115 way too small, I'm size 42 I ordered 48 due to previous size problems but it again way too small, no communication with customer service no help for their own mistakes all they said was you have to return on your own cost and you have to add 4 cm on each size chart available. I added 3 dress sizes and yet didn't fit. If you want to get a good quality go somewhere else and stay away from Modanisa all thier clothing are cheap china made not Europe as they described and proof of that are sizes are nothing to do with Europe size.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
November 14, 2016

I had made an order a few weeks ago and when I received the order, I was asked to pay 55% of the price as an extra shipping cost. Modanisa claimed I would only have to pay 20%, or nothing at all and yet I was asked to pay 55%. After emailing back and forth with them, they continuously tried to put the blame on me and didnt want to refund these extra costs. They had said that If I dont want to pay this extra cost, I could always ship it back and pay the shipping price which was even more. The started ignoring my emails and I have not heard back from them in 2 weeks, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This website is a scam!

I have placed an order with modanisa to only receive a different product and color than I ordered. I tried contacting them more than ten times. I've sent more than 20 emails back and forth. They drove me insane! Asking me for a photo of the product, and then ask me for another photo of the whole product, then saying we need you to take a tape measurement measure the product and send us a photo, then they would say we want a photo of the tag for the product, and then they will come back to me and say we not need another photo with better lighting. And on and on and on and on never ending! I responded to all their emails I was promised someone will contact me and resolve this issue and give me a refund I was promised more than 5 times. Till today nobody has contacted me, they haven't resolve this issue or refunded me for this product. Till today I'm still waiting they took my money I have a damaged product that I did not order! Very disappointed with this company! The Next Step will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau!
