Misleading prices!

Told me it was £10 to unlock my phone. After paying it revealed it was a preliminary check to make sure it was going to be POSSIBLE to unlock my phone. I then had to pay another £20 for the process and despite it saying it would take minutes it took hours.

I would like to clarify that the initial £11.99 payment was for the Eligibility Check to ensure your phone could be unlocked, and the £26 was for the actual Standard Unlock service, as outlined on our checkout page. We aim to be transparent with our fees and apologize if this was not clear at the outset.

I am pleased to inform you that your unlock is now complete with the codes provided, but I understand the process took longer than expected. While we strive to unlock devices as quickly as possible, occasionally it can take a few hours depending on the specifics of the unlock process and network response times.

If you're now facing an issue where your phone doesn't prompt for an unlocking code, we have solutions such as a Remote USB Unlock at an additional fee. However, should you choose not to proceed and we can’t unlock your phone due to it not asking for a code, please be aware that according to our refund policy, the payment for the unlocking code service is non-refundable due to costs we incur during the submission process.

Skeptical to begin but unlocked phone quickly

Doesn't give very clear information on pricing to begin with (one price to run a check on the phone and a further £26 to pay to complete they lock) combined with the fact the Site doesnt look legit you wonder to begin with if it a scam however we continued and in fairness they did unlock the phone and within an hour and a half.
I was quoted 1hour and as soon as this was up got a notification to say they where having issues but that it's common and they're working on it (didn't help the feeling that it was all a scam) however within 15 minutes they had emailed me my unlock code with detailed instructions on how to use it. Worked first time and now phone can work on any network. Overall happy and would use the service again

Their terms and conditions state:

"Eligibility Checks" are not covered by our money back guarantee. We perform a variety of checks, including checking for lost/stolen status, correct network, phone history as well as Activation Lock status. There may be an additional price to pay for the sim unlock itself, this will be stated on your order summary page prior to purchase. If you decide not to proceed with the unlocking payment, we cannot refund the cost of the Eligibility Checks, as we have already performed the service.

However, you are totally led to believe you are paying for the unlocking of the phone and receive an invoice stating "Pre-Order IMEI Unlock for ************** (iPhone 6S Plus) locked to T-Mobile USA". Two minutes later they then "correct" your order automatically to perform what they call an "eligibility check". This site is deliberately designed to mislead. Everyone should instigate a chargeback so that the credit card companies cut them off.

Paid the initial fee to unlock to thphone only to be told after checkout that I had only paid for a security checkup. I had to pay almost twice as much more to get the unlock code for the phone. This should be made clear at the start of the process.

Unlock iPhone 13 from GLOBE

I don't have any signal with Globe in our house that's why I need to buy a Smart sim but my phone was locked only to Globe since I am a postpaid subscriber. I am hesitant to try MobileUnlocks' service at first because it says it will take 7 days to complete. I am worried if this a good value for money. However, after the unlocking I was able to install a SMART e-Sim and it works pretty well.

I was not aware about the full price from the beginning. After 1st payment i get only the confirmation about my SIM is locked to the operator and was asked for second payment to unlock.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern about the multiple payments required for unlocking your phone.

To clarify, the initial payment of €13.49 was for the Eligibility Check, which confirms whether your Samsung Galaxy S8 can be unlocked. As specified on the checkout page, an additional payment, in your case €56, is required for the actual unlocking process.

Your unlocking process is now complete, and you should have received the codes (NCK: 49082847 and MCK: 07937142) to unlock your phone. If your phone doesn't prompt for a code when you insert a non-A1 sim card, a Remote USB Unlock will be necessary at an additional fee.

We outline all costs on the checkout page to ensure transparency before purchase. I hope this helps clarify the process.

They advertise mobile unlocks for $15, yet they charged my card 3x for it. Then they emailed me saying it would cost another $70 to actually unlock the phone. After writing a couple angry emails, they responded saying that they would give me a refund. They didn't end up reversing the charges nor did they unlock my phone. I will be filing for a chargeback with my bank and once I find out the country they are based out of (the bank will tell me as this isn't available on their site) I will be contacting the authorities there as this company is a scam and should not be allowed to scam people anymore. Do things the right way and just contact your phone carrier to unlock your phone!
