@ Sassy T
February 11, 2015

@ Sassy T.

I wouldn't bother engage with rubbish like her, but what i read in her reviews is absolutely non true and pure lies especially for a guy she mentions as a "criminal". I did meet this guy one month ago, he flew over to Greece and we went together on holidays to several places and those things writen down about him don't correspond to reality at all! He's a normal kind man who wants to have fun! He treated me the best way and had nothing but good times with him! That girl has no proof about what she writes down and all these accusations against him! Do you really wonder where's that hatred come from? Because i have indisputable evidence against her about asking for 1000usd for a night or an allowance in general to travel and accompany guys from Misstravel. She's an escort which is something against the policy of Misstravel but of course the easiest way is to accuse others if she doesn't get what she asks for. Many guys from Misstravel have mentioned that girl to me and i have evidence from skype conversations, recordings and photos etc about her asking money from guys to accompany them to trips, otherwise she spreads rumors about them and tries to tarnish their reputation! She is mentally damaged about consulting her psychic all the time and she also has a son who probably has a higher iq level than her-as i read all her dialogues with guys she was interacting with.

Misstravel create fake profile and put one picture or two--how hard is that? Then they email you or wink or favorite you. You need to pay to reply back. Now you paid and no one replies to your email and you ended up paying to help their business. To make sure. If you get winked or emailed by a girl who has one or two pictures DO NOT email her back. That's a magnet for guys so they end up paying. The alias also can be revealing. If the alias is not very original meaning this profile belong to misstravel. When you get into contact with someone do not do wahtsapp only. Ask for video skype. When they are fake they never accept your skype invite. They might do skype audio or texting but the best test is video. I was scammed several times. Two ladies sounded genuine but because they were in their 40s. Save your emotions guys as well as your shekels. This is a business and they are not here to make you happy. Match.com is way better. Ukrainian profiles are almost all fake (like on any other dating site). The business model where you pay only when you want to message back someone is a red flag. Meaning that I can create fake profiles and email you from them. Once I buy credit the emails stops. Once my credit is depleted I get an email from a blond. A red flag all right.

Lots of scammers
October 16, 2016

I have flown and met a few people in their own country. I talked to 10/people for a long time out of the 10 girls 2 were some what serious. I looked others up on Instagram and Facebook once I got their information so I could search. Some of them were men and others were fake pictures of girls.

I reported one picture and once I did this site blocked my profile. I emailed and asked why they did this block and no response.

Other girls took me to restaurants that scam foreigners! One girl took me to a restaurant and the bill was 890 usd. I knew I was scammed and even called the place out. Well they told me if I didn't pay I would ho to jail. Of course I paid who wants to go to jail?

The concept of this site is really cool but I think this site should do a lot more checks of people. Like ask for passport info or social security really any type of other verifications then what they do.

Guys be very very very careful here in my opinion this site is not worth it!

I'm sorry to the women who wrote bad reviews of men here. Hopefully you find someone who is serious and not a douchebag.

Success with Miss Travel
February 17, 2016

Sometimes you get lucky, other times you run across a guy who just wants to chat. Me however, I got lucky. ONCE.

I joined the site last year because I was EAGER to travel and lacked the expenses to do so. I was on the site for about a couple weeks and I met a guy from Maryland. We talked briefly before & then decided to Skype each other. He was coming to my hometown for a business meeting and asked if we could hangout. I of course said YES!

When he arrived in my hometown, he sent a car for me at the hotel he was staying, we had drinks, went to a 5star dinner (the best steakhouse ever) and then back home I went.

I had lost contact with him (not sure what happened) but about 4 months later we were back connected. So far I've been to Florida with him and getting ready to head to Las Vegas. I don't have a passport which is holding me back from ALOT of trips he takes but I will be getting one very soon. He's a gentleman and I also have all of his information if anything were to ever go wrong. My mom has it also and I let her know everything about the trips I take.

I would say this site is pretty legit, you just have to get lucky. Most of the guys on this site just want penpals. Most aren't serious. Thank god I got lucky. I hope to find another friend were the traveling dates don't have gaps in them. I'm wanting to travel every month.

This site caters for "generous" men who travel alone and need a companion for their travels. I joined it and posted photos. Several men contacted me, and they were "millionaires" who "travelled a lot". When I wrote back to them, they appeared to be some unemployed guys, who scraped to pay for this site and write to women. All wanted to travel to Paris, if you travel a lot, why have not you been to Paris? Funny, right? The next day when you reply to them they change their income from a "millionaire" to "won't tell". A couple of men came to my city and requested me as a guide, and talked as I already agreed to show them around and accommodate them, because they paid the site!
One "millionaire" said that he rented a very little place with a dirty staircase, and that he wanted to cook his own breakfast and couldn't because he had only a pan with a hole, and could I bring a new one to our meeting? They contact you, and if you refuse, they abuse you. I was called names. Then they "report" you. And one day, the site wrote to tell that they deleted me. The next day they wrote to tell that they "reinstalled" me and asked me for more photos. I sent them more photos, and the next day, I was DELETED FOR GOOD! They just take your photos to create fake profile for these losers who pretend that they "travel" to somewhere. If you do travel, you won't find anyone real there, the real people are deleted, and if you are a woman, you won't find anyone, because there are only losers, living in a fantasy land.

I joined this site and i found > 50% are fraud and fake profiles. They want money in advance with excuse or other. The profile Id: Azmauu 28, Dallas, Texas cheated me of US Dollar 1820. The modus operandi is like this. This Asmaa said she is from Iraq and need visa to visit Indonesia and can be arranged only by her Travel Agent"shahbandartravels" Mr Reginald Randolph: http://shahbandartravelsinc.simplesite.com.

Money has to be wired to him and he will arrange the visa and ticket. I send the money after interacting with this lady. Who said she is a Surgen and Doctor working for special needs

After sending payment gtalk/google hangout and phone blocked me! Today i found the same person logied in as "Seeker 7777" to cheat others. Pl beware of this cheat.

Am sharing the contact number of this person: Ms. Asmaa +1- *******995 and mail id:*******@gmail.com

Pl be ware of this fraud person and would like to warn of this cheater.

So far not so good
September 7, 2017

I joined a few months ago and so far haven't travelled anywhere.

The types of guys you'll most likely encounter on here:

1- He favourites you but never speaks

2- He asks random questions about your dream destinations then goes quiet

3-He messages you last minute expecting you to join him somewhere - as if I'd be crazy enough to join some stranger who I haven't even chatted with-_-

4-He asks for your number then asks you to send more pics of yourself ( even though I have 5 up on the site) or even worse he asks for nudes

5- He says he wants to go on a date or just says hi then goes quiet

This has been my experience on here it seems most of the members are either fake, unable to afford to take a lady on luxurious trips (splenda) or just looking for a prostitute.

One guy messaged me asking if I have a big bum, ummm you can do one mate

Another chap said he's going to Berlin for training 9-5 for three days and wants me to stay at a hotel and like a sex slave pleasure him after 5. I told him to sod off

Being the optimist that I am I'm still on there but I'm very careful, if you decide to join I hope you have better luck than me but don't be surprised if you get creepy messages like those.

I have paid twice as a "generous male traveller" to get access to the "attractive female travellers" who are on the site, 20$ and then 50$ after they multiplied by 2.5 the price! (but as you will see not the quality of contacts made...)

When I have not bought any credits, I get a lot of messages/winks from girls (to which I can not respond). But, AS SOON AS I have BOUGHT credits, those very same "girls" who sent me messages, or "winked" at me don t reply to me AT ALL (even though my 1st reply is ALWAYS very neutral and short.), or reply a VERY SHORT, UNINTERESTED message, like "tell me about you" (got this one a few times, what a coincidence!...) and THEN, END of communication...

To me, it makes it pretty clear that 80% of profiles are fake (got only about 20% of contact that felt REAL, back and forth that is. Even though they did not lead anywhere despite me proposing destinations that pleased the girls.).
So, at 50$ price tag for 10 emails, that s about 40$ paid for fake profiles... and the best is of course that Misstravel does not reimburse any of those emails wasted on fake profiles (that they may be creating themselves? Dun know but sure could be... or girls(/or funny guys.) that want to have fun making guys spend on them for nothing?. Not unheard of in clubs for b* lol.)...

(Just to be clear, I am below 35 years of age, in good physical shape, rather attractive according to my ex girlfriends (lol), and have a good job/assets. Not the stereotype of old/fat/married sugar daddy type.)

So in conclusion, if you are ok with paying 50$ for access to 2 real girl profiles, go ahead! OTHERWISE, just stick to standard dating sites, or speeddating etc etc. money much better spent and less of a waste of time and money

I have to agree with one of the previous reviewers. I think 99% of the men just want an escort but are unwilling to pay the escorting fees for a number of days or whole week. It says in my profile I am looking for submissive men only but guess what, the guys don´t care what I´m looking for. If they feel attracted to me based on my pictures, they will just try to talk to me anyway. I was chatting with one young guy out of pure curiosity, he then asked if it would be just companionship as it says in my profile or if some "quality time" would be included too. He insisted since I was pretty and he was ok looking himself, he didn´t see why we couldn´t have sex. Well, maybe because I am not an escort and if I was one, I would actually charge him for the sex, something he didn´t like to do as he made clear.

I also got contacted by some guy who was coming to my home city and suggested to meet for drinks. I told him I was receiving invitations for drinks all the time and it simply wasn´t interesting to which he sent a rude answer. I suppose quite a few of the members just hope to get laid for free with the locals not even providing any trips. Does it ever work? There are enough locals to have one stands with if that´s what some of the women want.

The site is pretty quiet actually. I was also a member of the Travelgirls site for a few weeks which is even worse but I was getting much more messages there. It´s strange because I never even heard about it before. In any case men on both websites expect too much for too little and if the women get assertive and ask for allowance, they start screaming "escorts". That´s what they want but without the steep costs, that´s the problem. So I don´t think this concept can really work except for some really cheap women who think a trip in return for sexual services is a great deal not to be missed. Good luck to them flying to a foreign country to meet a complete stranger, share the room with him from day one (95% will not provide your own room - remember they want to make it as cheap as possible and to have good access to your body). CREEPY, CREEPY, CREEPY.

I read the story about Monica Lynn and how she travels all over the world for free. I thought to myself that it was too good to be true. I made a profile on the website using real pictures and elements of my life. I wanted to form my own opinion of it. A few people messaged me and I started talking to the person who messaged me with the best grammar ( I needed a way to select a person to carry a long conversation with). I learned a little bit about his life and then exchanged numbers.

My goal was to keep a conversation going for as long as possible without actually going through with anything. The man I was talking to seemed to be looking for someone sexually open to new things. And so I fabricated a character that would be up for that (my character was that of a sexually inexperienced person, with a sort of weak personality at best and who had lots of insecurities). All this is okay because he was upfront about what he wanted and didn't try to trick me into anything. However, he then offered a reference with whom I could talk to about any questions I had. The reference was a girl who had traveled with him, and done sexual things with him. Apparently she was a student at Oxford university studying for her MBA. I got her email, and messaged her. She was uncannily open, and had the same way of talking as the man I was chatting with. She also replied incredibly quickly despite it being almost 2 am in London. These were inconsistencies that had me suspicious right off the bat (in-case the whole thing wasn't sketchy already). I went along with it to see how far this man could lure me.

In the end he asked for ten nudes to prove my sexual openness.

My conclusion, beware of anyone you meet online. I'm sure that this website has positive results, but they're probably few and far in-between. Naive women may actually fall prey, so be as skeptical as possible. If someone doesn't want to prove their identity to you, you're not being 'not trusting enough'. You're being cautious, which in the end will be what keeps you out of trouble.

I asked the girl who I was talking to (the reference) about sharing with me a proof of identity such as a Linkedin account, facebook or school email address but she refused. She seemed insulted by my asking for it. This is the kind of response that should immediately make you wary of that person and their true identity.
