This site really does't work. I'm pretty sure majority of these men are fake accounts. One guy messaged me, I responded then never heard anything from him. I then had another guy call me a gold digger just because I'm honest about what I want. I said help or support, but what he processed was shopping spree, anywhere & everywhere as long as I don't have to pay. I reported him for being an a$$. The admin didn't resolve the issue & the guy got to keep his account, so I wrote feedback on how the admin of the site catering to the players and deleted my account. I wish I would've read some reviews before I wasted my time on that bogus site.

This site is a joke. We posted a trip to a very exclusive resort (we take about 4-5 a year) where we would pick up all expenses with travel, food, drinks, etc. and even said they could take one of their girlfriends to make them more comfortable. We usually fly down about 12-15 friends and just have a great time hanging out.

We told them they could contact other girls that have gone on repeated trips, have access to our personal info (ie. LinkedIn) so they could verify who we were. In fact we said we must meet THEM in our city beforehand to make sure they would fit in with our group, etc.

Anyway, fake profiles, flakes, etc. The only one who was serious turned out to be a "working" girl. We were just looking for friends to go have fun with in a beautiful location. Nothing weird, no "sex" expected...

Worthless site in my opinion.

Site costs 50 euros per month. Not many profiles in a radius of 100 miles around where I live (Small Northern European country). Of those few profiles approx. Less than 10 percent frequently log in.

As mentioned by others, there are many fake accounts (and mails) from photomodel like women located in Ukraine, Rumania, Russia and such.
But also some real ones living in my country, although it is very challenging to get a reply of more than one sentence. (And alas a faker who used Skype as a one way street)

MissTravel seems reliable, but as the chances of finding a travel partner are remote, it's a waste of money I'm afraid.

I am 34 year white male... I met a girl on the site within two weeks of being on it, she was college educated and very attractive, 24 years old... I visited in her city and then she came to mine a few weeks later, I moved so I wasn't traveling in that area anymore but it could have turned into a relationship, she was just a normal girl.

I'm now talking with another after coming back in the site 6 months later, and I met her in about a week too... FYI I only make $140,000 a year and am in no way a millionaire nor do I represent myself as one... I just have approached it as any other dating site, it's pretty easy to tell the girls that are looking for an adventure and the pro's... if your a normal guy I would say go for it and just be truthful!

Im just a normal guy with a good head on my shoulders. Had a fabulous experience with a wonderful younger woman. I looking forward to booking my next trip. However, dont be an idiot, use your head when sifting through the offerings. I had a gorgeous woman wink at me yesterday, we talked in the phone and she was awesome. I went to look at airfare and shared what I found with her. She didnt want to fly Spirit nonstop, she wanted Delta which was 50% more, it made me think. I googled her and found an arrest record for prostration. The trip I planned was to Vegas and the entire idea gave me cold feet as it relates to her. Use your head and think. BTW her name is Jana Zinkel from GA.

For all those men who say that this place has nothing but money hungry women trying to get a free trip...? This is literally a traveling /traveler lover dating site... what other type of people were you expecting? (respectfully)

Ok so let me just start off by saying this is from a female perspective. The site is great for meeting people who are interested in travel and dating... but the ration of female to male is a bit off. It seems like the site has a ton of female users but wish they had more male users.

That being said the ones I've met have been great. But ladies be warned that there are a few out there that just want a pen pal but don't actually intend to meet. I would say be cautious ask lots of questions and make sure there is an actual trip planned ASAP. If they want to plan something 3-4 months away they likely are just wanting to talk to you and are lonely without intending to meet you. Other than that it's been a great site, I've taken several wonderful trips met a long term bf and prior to that made a few friends so I would recommend it.

This app is just older men looking for sex in exchange for a free trip. I went on a trip recently with William (Will) Mac, he is from Boston & an African American male who works in the medical field. We went on a group trip and he didn't get his way so he left me and 2 other girls stranded in the middle of Mexico (he took our money and no phone service). We had to walk back to the private house he rented (30 min walk in dresses +heels). He apologized the next day but we did not forgive him so he told us to find our own ride to the airport. He is entitled and acts like a child. Also, he comes into your room randomly and starts touching you inappropriately. If you tell him to stop he gets upset. Please ladies DO NOT travel with this man! He is manipulative and immature he will take your money and leave you stranded!

After spending couple of months chatting and meeting people I had a two weeks travel with a very attractive lady, where I covered accommodation and local transportation. We developed an intimate relationship and kept on meeting and travelling together for 9 months until we decided to explore new options and experiences. I hope I will have the opportunity to repeat this with her or other interesting people and I definitely recommend the site to whoever is willing to be generous for quality experiences

Some of the reviews are right, you need to be careful! I met a guy in another city in my country and he turned out to be a married scammer/pimp! And I had to rely on the kindness of strangers to help me get back to my city! I was essentially stranded! If a man is offering to pay for your travel after the first few messages, you bet he wants to use and or abuse you! Rich guys are stingy as hell so they ain't gonna pay big money for a girl to come and sit pretty by the beach! Even if it is just sex most of them are into freaky things cause face it they can do missionary with any next 10/10 from an escort site.

If you go ahead and travel either let someone know your plans or have a backup plan if all fails! All you have to do is tell a guy no and he'll leave you to make your own way back. I've learnt from my mistake.

I wanted to try this so I went to look for reviews as I'm always hesitant when it comes to meeting people online. The negative comments here about that site scare me to try misstravel. I am a female and I only want a travel companion. It does not matter if its a male or female. Well, actually I still prefer female travel companion cause I'm not looking for a date. But I'm still scared cause reviews say that many users both female and male are scammers or have both bad intentions on you! Guess this site is not safe. Any other better sites to meet travel buddies? I'm not sure, guess none!

If a female on misstravel or any other site gets friendly with you and then tries to get you to trade forex or crypto and tells you she has inside information from a family member IT IS A HONEY TRAP you will never get the money back! These women are professional scammers they will make a great connection with you and make you feel great for as long as it takes to reach their goal (your money)
