Lee, at the Clemson location was absolutely atrocious. He was unkind, unhelpful, and rude when asked questions. Micheals needs to do better. I would not recommend going here.
Your money here i can get the same product for about 50 Percent less for yarn at walmart and hobby lobby although there is more supply at walmart.com ment to put one star but even that is too much
I went because they said they were having a 70 percent sale. So I started to load my cart.
When I finally got to the cashier and she rung my total $244. When I asked about the 70
Percent she said only if you buy online. Thank god I had my credit card. Remember if you
Ever hear about an in store sale it's a lie they use to get you to come to the store. I for one
Will never go back as their way to expensive and totally dishonest.
Michaels is my go to craft store, however their website is a buggy mess. The refresh rate is horrid and it takes up to an hour to set up an order for pick or delivery.
Aug. 10,2023. In the custom framing section, served by Jenna. She was super helpful with our framing of an 8×10. Very happy with the customer service at the Bedford Commons store in Nova Scotia
I purchased 8 glass mugs. I received 5 whole ones and 3 broken ones. Michael's web site does not have anyway to resolve broken items. When you call the 1 800 number they want to sell you something based on your age. I will never buy anything from Michael's again. All I wanted was what I paid my money to own.
I went to shop for a picture frame at 9030 Metropolitan Avenue, Rego Park, NY ******* on July 20,2023. I am beyond thankful that the manager Orayne has helped me and was so patience helping me to pick up the perfect frame. He went far and beyond his service to make sure that the poster I bought with me, fit perfectly into the frame. His service is worth recognition, and I truly hope that the Headquarter of Michaels would see this. He deserves recognition for his attentiveness to the customers. I want to say:
Thank you again, Orayne!
My shopping experience at Michael's was pleasant as usual and the sales people were quite helpful. Even when I was at the checkout counter Alec, (cashier) was helpful because I was having a problem using my credit card when trying to pay for my purchase.
The registration for I store classes is pointless. When inquired, I was instructed to register online for the in store classes to insure a spot. I did as instructed and showed up to a full class and told that we would have to wait until someone else is done. There is no list of registered participants or system to weed out the walk-ins and allow the registered customers to have priority seating. I offered to show my confirmation email and to ask the other people for theirs but was just given a shrug of the shoulders like there is nothing the manager can do. After repeating my disappointement and explaining that she, the manager, is the only person I am able to talk to about this issue. She then offered to clear off a table full of supplies to allow 2 of my 3 registerants. There must be a better, more efficient way to organize the i store classes, such as simpling requiring proof of registration. Thank you
I am no longer fond of Michaels's store. Their inventory is consistently out of stock, overpriced, and quite disappointing. Sadly, I must bid farewell to Michaels.
So... how much sense does this make? I go to Michael's to buy a frame for DIY project... I find one for $159.00... PERFECT! I buy it and go home and complete the project... and last but not least, I hang the frame on the wall. My wife begins searching the internet and sees the same exact frame at Michaels for $119.00 (On-line purchase... in store pick up only) Hmmmm I call Michael's and explain to them of the their $119.00 ad on- line for this frame I joust bought... I ask if I can get a price adjustment since I already installed my piece in the frame. They say "Sorry" we can't do that... the price is for on-line only and you must pick up in the store (Basically, they won't ship it). Hmmmm soooo let me get this straight... I have to remove my item out of the frame, retrieve the packaging from the garbage, drive over to Michael's to return a now used frame, and repurchase on-line to get a $40.00 credit? I guess Michael's would rather scrap the used frame for a new one? All for $40.00? Are you kidding me? Does any CEO of Michaels's read these reviews? How much sense does any of this make? Do you want to save money? I can see if it's an online purchase and it ships to your house... but you have to go to the freaking store to pick up! How about splitting the sale between online and in-store and save the consumer from a bunch of... and I'll be nice... running around! Ok... now I feel better...
Recently I had a poster reframed where I supplied the poster and the glass.
I was only purchasing the frame, which came in scratched. They offered to have it redone but said it
Might happen again. The employee told me that my frame was just pressed sawdust and glue with a
"sticker" covering it to look like metal. There was no mention of this when I chose it, and it was NOT
Inexpensive. It was redone without scratch but with no accommodation and an additional trip to the
Store.
I tried online and by phone to contact customer service, but, apparently, there is NO such thing. I
Highly recommend shopping elsewhere for framing.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The local store is literally not working so I called the National number. I got someone with a language barrier that told me to just drive to the store. I asked for a supervisor and after 5 minutes the fool just hung up.
I will never order again online to Michael. My package took forever to arrive. Got lost. Bad customer service. Will stick with Amazon.
At the Virginia Beach VA beach Blvd and constitution Amber took the time to help me with tools for the circuit machine. She as so very helpful
I've been shopping at Michaels since I was a kid. I remember when they had craft classes in the stores in the evenings. I can't stand Hobby Lobby.
I looked up scrapbooks on line. There were supposed to be five on aisle 17. I drove over there. They weren't on aisle 17. One was on aisle 16. The coupon was only good for online shopping. No wonder people shop online. Next time I'll go to Amazon.
I made the mistake of ordering from Michaels online instead of using Amazon as usual, and found that the delivery was slower, and the item, when it arrived, was entirely wrong. I attempted to contact Michaels' customer service and was told there was nothing they could do as it was a third party seller, and to contact them instead. A slow, faulty, useless order.
I ordered an item online that was out of stock everywhere. I received a tracking # then a message that the item was delayed and then nothing. I checked up on it again and no information is available. I called customer service and was jerked around by an off shore call center. If it isn't in a store don't bother.
Answer: Why can't you speak with a supervisor or team leader.Do they have any or are they just that busy.
Answer: I've found the prices at Michael's to be about the same as Joann's Fabrics, depending on what you get and how big of a selection you're looking for. Joann's obviously has a larger fabric selection, but the rest is about the same based on the stores in my city. Michael's has some very unique jewelry supplies, if you like to make jewelry. If I just need something pretty basic (paint, brushes, thread, jewelry chain, kids crafts, etc.), I go to whichever store is closest to the area I'll be in that day. If I'm working on jewelry, I check both stores because the selections are different and the prices are about equal. Hobby Lobby may have some better quality items, but you'll pay a lot more than what it's worth.
Answer: Not legit. Just try to get to the corporate office. Look at the reviews... not legit in any way.
