MeWe

Tried to join in Oct 2020, but was never successful. Can't get into it. No way of recovering or resetting password. They never get back to you. No contact phone number or way to cancel subscription. I've tried multiple times. Yet, they'll take my $5.00 every month for the last two years gladly. But won't get back to you. Don't join! Horrible customer service. It's a scam.

MeWe forced an update on members. Block chaining members across several domains. In return, Your privacy was sacrificed. No adds remain, But solicitation for donations persists. Plus off site third party stores will spam your browser with ads after a MeWe session. I left because a reply email stated by continuing to use the service, You give consent to MeWe changes.

I registered on MeWe a long time ago, never bought a paid service and no one forced it on me. I haven't used this site in such a long time that I forgot what they are called and forgot my password - there were no problems changing the password through my email address, so I don't understand what they write about any problems with this. Just today, several of my friends opened new accounts - also without problems and for free.

Facebook went berserk with its moronic censorship and algorithms that do not understand humor and irony. It is no longer possible to communicate. So my friends and I went to MeWe. At the moment everything is fine. The interface takes a little getting used to, but when we migrated from LiveJournal to Facebook, Facebook had almost nothing - it was a rather primitive platform. In general, friends, I'm happy with MeWe so far.

The social network is first and foremost the people with whom we communicate, and Zuckerberg or someone else does not tell us how to do it.

Having been an active member on the MeWe social media platform for over seven (7) years, I remember when they really were consumer oriented. Today, I don't know what drives changes in MeWe's policies. But, it does not appear to be members' preferences. As a MeWe "Premium Subscriber" (a paying member), there's not much that's positive I can say about today's MeWe.

I joined a group on MeWe and from then on all I could see was comment on the group and nothing else. As bad as Facebook is at least you can get more news I your feed than with MeWe. The search function is not very useful either. Finding people you may actually know to add as friends is almost impossible.

It would be nice to open the site and see something in my feed besides my posts. No new news or comments from other people and not apparent way to change it. No way shows to contact them either. MeWe may be going the way my Facebook account did but MeWe does not have 12 years.

Ordered a rug. When it came it was more like a blanket. The beautiful colors were the same as what I ordered (dark purple/blue/greens), but unlike the picture, it was bound with a bright white border! It was not worth the $54 it cost me! It was shipped with NO paperwork, invoice, or return label. Sadly, I could not find the email sent to me about the shipping. I am unable to find contact info online for MeWe. I will never buy anything from them again!

I joined in November already blocked for 24hours for TOS. I was on Facebook and never block in 13 years. Left due to censorship on conservatives. I am 63 years old. I don't post nudity, violence, or spam. I tried to contact customer service and there is none. No explanation on how I violated. I will be deleting my account tomorrow. So many spammers you have to clear them out of your news feed daily. Many people joining that I don't know and requesting to be friends. I am going to guess this site is infiltrated by many people trying to silence conservatives.

I started a page on MeWe a week ago, hoping to prompt thoughtful discussion on essential issues facing us. Despite posting very thought-provoking memes, I have yet to get ONE response, which leads me to believe this site is a fraud. They apparently do not deliver to any audience which you signed on to expect. Requiring the sharing of your private contacts to connect with others is an absolute privacy violation, on a massive scale. It is not what they say, but what they DO, and I am highly suspicious of CEO Weinstein's motives. That he apparently pals around with alleged crooked evangelists and what many would call white supremacists, engaging in (posted) interviews with them, reenforces such suspicion.

Complete $#*! platform that supposedly claims to be better than Facebook when it comes to censoring & freedom of speech. Instead it's basically a $#*!ty version of Facebook. Not to mention they actually ask you to subscribe for a monthly fee. Haha, what a friggin joke. I guess our hope for a truly free speech platform will have to be placed elsewhere, because MeWe is not it.

What a great name for a social site in this day and time. I end all of my messages with it's not me, it's WE and I'll be darned. It's like the Book but it's in it's baby stages.

Do not let that make you afraid to join, it has some things FB doesn't site a gang of site limitations, friend limitations,(yet) and it working on features to come.

It's way more relaxed and the interactive shopping groups there are Bananas. Give it a try, it's worth it. Help it grow. Invite your friends and family or make it your private site to socialize and shop. You will not regret it.

Mewe is completely unsafe, maybe the only so called social network where genitals, many recognizable despite the blur, are allowed as profile picture or banner. There are no rules, no support and don't answer to mails or when a post or user is reported. Indeed, if a user start to report porn, scammers or other criminals and do it often, is block because turns out to be unpleasent for the site.
Many profiles are fake, using fake names and pictures from the Internet, many selling crypto currency or inviting other users to be part of what they call businesses opportunities, indeed, nothing more than scams, and is pointless to report them, they are not removed,
Features are very few, when compared with other social networks, they insist each day in paid membership and and place profit ahead of rules and safety.
After reporting in the same day a few scammers asking for money for a non existant NGO, was no longer able to login. Seems having scammers in large numbers is more profitable than common non paying users.
Bottom line, avoid MeWe, as most profiles are fake, porn is everywhere and support don't reply to question.

I was blocked on several occasions, and finally when I posted the name of the States that have received money from China I was blocked forever. The worst part is that MeWe is very deceitful, my sites at MeWe is open to my members, so that they don't know MeWe blocked me. To make matters worst, MeWe, that promises privacy, shared my email with google that sent a copy of a family email to my personal email to let me know "hey, we know where you are". Till this day, all my sites are open but I'm blocked and can't even cancel the credit card because I need to contact them and can't because I'm blocked... talk about dishonesty... that is MEWe... all for Me and nothing for We

MeWe is Extremely Toxic & Mostly Extremist Far Right Social Media Rejects. The Vast Majority of MeWe Groups are pro-Trump/pro-CT/Anti-Vaxxer Extremists! Even the supposed Liberal Groups there, are occupied by Severe Extremists. All of which, are Banned Facebook Users. They even brag about having been banned from Facebook for Their Behaviors.
There is No Moderation or Realistic Complaints Options. While Comments & Actions CAN Be Reported, This Is Only Cosmetic! The groups are "moderated" by the Extremist Owners & There is No Protection from Bullies, Preditors & Freaks! There is Absolutely No Realistic Policing or Punishment for Abusers or even Doxing. There are a Huge Number of Preditors, Spam, Pornography & Terroristic Practices!
MeWe is literally the Wild West of the Social Media World!

I have been on MeWe.com for over a year and a half. Overall it has been a good experience. Free speech is generally observed and it mlm is mainly the owners and admins that deal wirh it, not really MeWe althought you can contact rhem if needed easily.
Navigation in site can be confusing at first bu with the latest update it is a better layout than before. It is much better to remember that each group, event and peron has both a main feed and achat dunction that are seperate from eachother.
Overall it is a good experience but different from FB, which is a good thing.

Mewe is a place for sick people who love to see children abused and raped. Full of under aged children sick
