Chatted with someone who had S H for a name, but made me guess that "her" name was Laurie from Troy NY. After many back and forth "she " answered all my questions, told me "she" was like me and looking for the same as me which is a relationship. Sent me pics basically naked and pics at work. "She" would disappear and when I asked about it "she" would basically apologize and act like everything was all good. One of the last times was for 2 days and "she" came back saying hey, couldn't be on here, here is my kik Addy we can chat there...
I asked y don't we exchange numbers, told me "she" had my number already. I found that funny bec I never gave it... it stopped responding. Wasted a week + with a catfish... I closed my account.

MeetMe is always the site that people suggest when you say youre thinking of trying dating online or tell them youre newly single. But for me I had a friend who met (and is now engaged to) a really nice lady on wejustfit.com so I went there first on their recommendation. It's a great site and im still a member but with valentines day and everything I decided to join MeetMe and double my odds. I can see why its popular but im not really finding it any better than WJF so not sure if ill stick around. But nice to try new things and have other options:-)

I was flagged right after my subscription was automatically renewed at a much increased rate! Customer service keep replying with boilerplate, they basically just ignore me. Wtf?! I've never had any problems on other dating sites - either with banning, overcharging or scam. But look what MeetMe did: they simply took my money and flagged me with without giving any explanation. I regret joining this filthy site and renewing my subscription. There was only one person I communicated with there. The rest turned out to be either fakes or con artists. I recommend everybody to never get engaged with MeetMe!

Ive accumulated over 100K diamonds, was locked out and lost everything, holly, the #1 streamer makes 200K at least per stream, usually all gifted by one person. They delete accounts of those who come
Up in the community and start getting attention and delete the accounts, take the diamonds, go to their fake profiles and send them all to her. There is no way to make the amount she does in one night without the deletion of multiple accounts with a large amount of diamonds. This site is a joke, I get deleted for no reason, yet people who show nudity can be on there for a lifetime. Ridiculous. This app sucks! No one should download it!

I gave it one star because there was no zero-star selection. It's being used as a combination of social site and a dating site, where most of the users simply prefer to be Nigerian/Ghanan/West Africans looking for your wallet. Those who prefer to be on there for dating are desperate women with weight issues or personality disorders or men who's social skills rise very little above their ability to expose their genitalia. Two other groups arriving on the scene lately are those looking for a pot/meth/you-name-it connection (using obvious innuendo throughout) or those looking to sell their bodies (using other obvious innuendo throughout). After awhile, earnest members get frustrated enough to simply walk away shaking their collective heads in disbelief.

I've gained a few friends from this site although to be honest most of the men on this site are only looking for sex and will gladly proposition you and shamelessly keep asking after you've told them I'm not interested. I had one guy try to give me cash to have sex with him only to turn around and apologize and then come back again asking me if I'd give him a blowjob. I've also been told to go f myself and called a pig simply for rejecting a $#*! pic from a guy I'd met on there. And one guy won't leave me alone telling me he wants to eat me out. Honestly, of have closed my account if it weren't for waiting for a reply from guy friend. On the plus side you do get to know who in your area is only looking to hook up so you can just block and steer clear.

This site is ridiculous. Not only do people proposition for sexual favors, they just let anyone hack into your account and change all your information. The link they send to your email is also more spam to $#*! your account even worse. The customer service is just pitiful. No number to call to get help, nobody replies to your email no matter how many you send. This site is, all together, a sorry excuse for social media. Thought changing literally EVERYTHING about this site would be a good thing? Welp, they were wrong. Once again. These people need to realize that some things are best the way they are. Not EVERYTHING needs to change. The only beneficial change to this site is it's name; it now fits its members. Meetme is for people to pick up whores. That's it. I will not be returning to this site again. I'll go to Match.com. Thanks for nothing, Meetme!

I always thought MeetMe was the first site that people tryed when they became single. I used it years ago and left after a while because it wasnt for me. Since then ive mostly been using WeJustFit and the odd weekend on Tinder for a laugh. I decided to try MeetMe again last week after they emailed me an offer and must say theyve improved a lot. Will probably use them more now.

Meetme will charge you multiple times for a single transaction. When you call them on it, they will tell you that they cannot refund the money they took because you used the digital items purchased. This is despite the fact that they never gave you anything for the additional charges. They have charged me 4 times for a single transaction, all with the same timestamp, and upon showing them proof, they stop responding. So if you're looking to give someone $500 for a $100 transaction, MeetMe is the place for you.

MyYearbook was a great place to meet up and chat about lots of things. Now called MeetMe it is a sick site that should be shut down. You complain about the content and they shut YOUR account down.
NO Investor should EVER invest in this publicly traded loser company... and judging by the majority of their users not having logged in for a year I would say once they stop lying to advertisers and investors that they are active accounts it will be shut down shortly thereafter..

Locked my account for no apparent reason I'm sick of this bull$#*! that's how they feel about me I am so pissed off I'm not gonna stop talking about this now I cant even go in my email either what type of $#*! is this I'm so beyond pissed right now they say I violated their terms... what terms I post my pictures on my profile I try to talk to girls that's it I give you ******* infinity stars. Then there's no way to contact them that's jokes. That was so over the line and I hope everyone be careful because I feel so violated right now and now I cant even get into my email because that's blocked too for no specific reason

Had an amazing first month on MeetMe and was feeling a bit sheepish after refusing to splash the cash on it for so long, but decided to quit and go back to wejustfit.com now. FYI I had gone for the 3 mnth membership plan and think this was a good place to start, no regrets there. In the first month I did some group nights out and had a couple of dates. Things slowed in month 2 and in September I couldnt get a date even when I lowered by admittedly high standards. Might try again next year.

Watch out for these live streamers they are fake as all outdoors. I supported Highlytes and afro-latino for the longest but they turned out to be fake snake and so called christan women. Ok until u stop gifting but will send nudes for cash app. These people are scammers! Beware! I went to cancel my account and was told i would get a refund for previous package purchased by never happened.

When it was MyYearbook, the site totally rocked. Between the gaming feature and the profile customization options, I spent most of my time online on this website.

Now, though, it's a piece of crap. I don't know how something so amazing could turn into something so... I don't even know how to describe it. Horrible? Stinking? Putrid? Basic? Something along those lines. MeetMe used to be great but I wouldn't spend time on there now if you paid me to.
