I've always loved Maurices clothing and my in store experiences have always been great! The girls at my local store always give me the best customer service! I don't shop online very much, but when I do I've never had an issue! It sucks that so many others have had bad online orders go missing or what not, but I'm sure the company is working on it! Will always shop Maurices!
I hope this gets to corporate:)! There are 2 younger girls who work there and I have been in this store several times in the past 10 days! These 2 young women are so knowledgeable and friendly! More so then corporate was when I had a return issue! They were so patient, professional and deserve so much credit, I wish I would have asked their names so I could include it here. I ordered online and tried on at home, they made returns a very easy experience and they are highly recommended! Maurices has cute clothes and good sales.
I like shopping at Maurices and find a lot of unique items. My biggest complaint is waiting two weeks for my order to ship, then getting an email stating that it is canceled due to unavailable inventory or unforeseen circumstances. I just ordered a sweatshirt I really liked and had this happen again. This is the third time it's happened in less than a year. Very disappointing.
Ordered two items and order said it didn't go through. Reordered it. Well first one went through. Was charge for two. Was old they couldn't cancel. Will not be ordering anymore very unhappy I buy alot there. No more
Eric literally gave me the best customer service and beyond, I've had the pleasure of experiencing, the past couple of years. He gave me an honest opinion on the blazer I purchased. He spent the time with me too decide if it was me or not (it totally was) he then helped me with the size and a matching shirt. His personality was one of the best I've come across in a good while and cares about fashion. Thank you Eric you are amazing
I started shopping at Maurices in the 90s. I don't remember much about their style that long ago. However since around 2010/2011. Their clothing has went down hill. Idk who is in charge of the plus size clothing. But it looks out dated, way too short for plus size, and like something one would find at a thrift store/Goodwill. It's like little house on the prairie meets 95 year old grandma@ goodwill. Email me. And fire whoever is in charge of plus size clothing
I have often shopped at Maurices, mainly in Sarnia, Ontario and have always been satisfied with the customer service and overall shopping experience, but with Covid restrictions and not being able to shop instore, I placed my first online order ever with Maurices. Right from the start it has not been a good experience. I placed my order on December 26th and still have not received an email confirmation of my order, have not been able to track my order. The cost of my order was around $149.00 and $220.00 was charged to my credit card and one of the items was removed from my order with no explanation. I have called and I have emailed with no response yet. The online customer service has been horrible. So horrible that I may never buy an item from this store ever again!. There should be better care towards customers, especially during these hardtimes. Trust me I will be letting others know about this experience as well.
So I canceled my order moments after placing my order. It was already charged to my account. I got told i have to wait 3-5 business days for the money to be put back onto my debit card. WHAT? They removed the money from my account in a second but now i have to wait almost a week for it to be put back in? The reason i canceled was because of the extra charges: duties and USD currency then changed to CAD. Won't be shopping at any location of this store in Canada. :(
For anyone that didn't know after screwing up my order three times and waiting on hold for over and hour to fix things the best I could do was get my money back and I'm left with out a present days before Christmas and the at home agents you talk to apparently are able to hang up on you and can't help with anything or even send you to a manager.
I ordered two shirts as Christmas presents. One arrived right away, but there was no explanation of why there was only one of the two products I ordered. Had to call customer service, wait on hold forever, and finally was told the second shirt shipped separately (no explanation why). They did provide the tracking number for the second package while I was on the phone. Ten days passed, and still no item. The tracking information revealed no movement in that time. I called customer service again and elected to to the chat function to save time waiting on the phone. I got to chat with a customer service representative named "Aladin" who asically regurgitated the same information as was online via the tracking number. The package shipped from a location in Ohio and was shipping to my home here in Ohio. No way it takes anything over 10 days to move in the state. I mentioned that the package was obviously lost and I wanted a refund or a new shirt to be shipped. Aladin mentioned that they can consider the item lost if it hasn't moved in 10 days. I told him that requirement had been met. Still refused to provide a refund or any compensation whatsoever. So now I paid them money for nothing. I will NEVER do business with this garbage company and recommend anyone else considering a purchase, buy from somewhere else. Run far and fast. WORST customer service ever.
Placed an order online November 20. I still haven't received it. It was in Preshipment forever and has been in LA since the 15th. I've chatted with several customer service agents and last week "Marge" reassured me that my package would arrive before the 20th. She offered me 200 points for the hassle. I haven't received my package or the points. I contacted customer service again today, and was told that no action could be taken until the 29th. After Christmas. All the Christmas items I ordered would be worthless. I've been refused a refund. The customer service agent repeatedly said they were sorry, but still no resolution. I feel ripped off. I love my local Maurices, but the customer service agents are not helpful at all. It makes me feel completely helpless and leary of ordering online in the future. They have my money and all I get are excuses for why my order is late.
Over 250.000 orders from 11/09-11/29 have gone missing. They were supposed to be delivered by 12/16 at the latest but still these order are MIA their over the seas customers service doesn't care. The refuse to return you money and can not account for any of these orders. So as if 2020 wasn't bad enough they are going to kill peoples Christmas when they already are living check to check due to the pandemic.
Placed order Nov. 22nd, still no package Dec 6th. Called to ask about it, and the agent who I originally spoke with was so rude, talked over the top of me, told me no I couldn't speak to a manager, provided no response to my packages status or location. Called back several hours later, got a different agent who was kind and informative. December 16th, still no package, partial refund and still no product. Won't be back since this is how Maurices treats their online customers. There are literally hundreds of complaints about this exact same problem, and no response or relief from Maurices. Company started out great, not really sure what happened, but they've gone so downhill and I won't be shopping here any longer. (Only gave 1 star as 0 stars wasn't an option).
Terrible customer service, lost in transit shipments that appear to be sitting in their warehouse. Additionally the quality of their apparel has gone down. One shipment shows that it has been delivered to the store but no one can find it. Don't expect to contact customer service either unless you're up for an hours long wait. They will be out of business in early 2021.
I ordered a pair of boots for my daughter on November 15, on December 1 I still had not received them, was on hold with company 3 different times for hours, to find out they had lost my order. At the advice of a representative, I reordered them, with 2 day shipping which I paid extra for. I still have not received boots, have been on hold for 2 hours, still have not talked to anyone. I can not track my order due to a problem in maurices system when you pay with PayPal. This is a poorly run company that I would not recommend to anyone, nor will I ever do business with again
First time I shopped here bought a pair of shoes nov 30th still yet to get them annoyed, order another pair the other day for secret Santa I said ill make i get them asap this time. Was thrilled got them today box said 9 1/2 these damn shoes are 8 1/2 and I'm missing the jewelry to go with this! So I reached out to customer service took 2 hrs to contact someone and the first pair of shoes have yet been sent out and they will not refund me! The proof is in the pictures! Can someone please tell me if I'm wrong? What happend to making customers happy and wanting them to come back maurices will be out of business soon if they keep it up... they have great deals and I love there products but they don't care about the customers

I contacted customer service after waiting 2 weeks for my package/order to be shipped. It was marked as shipped, finally, but 5 days later had no updates in tracking, stating it hadn't been picked up. They were very unhelpful, to a point of being rude. The agent took no responsibility, didn't offer to help, and assured me it should be "picked up" by shipper in the next week. That's 3 weeks just to get something shipped. My order had 2 items, not rocket science as far as I'm concerned!
