Very disappointed after all the hype overpriced at £20 and very dry and quite claggy no moisture at all and the sauce and cream were very average and done nothing to enhance the pudding wish we had stuck to trifle
Our three month old sofas are bobbling. This is after having to replace the footstool for the same issues and fitting the wrong feet. M&S sent a guy to inspect who said he would never choose our fabric as it does bobble and told us to shave the bobbles off. As a result M&S have said they will do nothing and to get shaving! We work full time so they have had little use and honestly I don't consider having to shave your new sofas normal practice. It certainly wasn't mentioned 8n the very limited care instructions. My advise to anyone look8ng to buy M&S sofas would be DONT DO IT

First the music is terrible (Violin) playing all the time. The music DOES NOT go with movie in anyway. B & C rated on that for sure, I had to fast forward in the beginning. Honestly thru it all, I have not seen who wrote this nonsense. They applied terrible music, with terrible writing to terrible acting. This honestly disgraced Princess Diane then helped. Not amused... I find this to be the best online shopping experience on the web. Every year I order all my business clothes, and some casual as well, from this department store. The sizes are standardised, which mean that once you know your measurements, every item in their shop fits in the same way. Also, the quality is excellent and the prices very cheap as compared to Australia (Recently I bought a pair of woollen trousers, made in England, for about $40 - the same item in Australia is $300 at Myer or David Jones [similar quality department stores]).
Shipping is free to Australia if you order over a certain price, and the best part about this service is if you need something quickly it gets here within the week. All items are packed beautifully, even including wooden hangers and suit bags for some items.
Their website is great, because it not only shows multiple views of the clothes, but also there is a video of a model wearing them, which means you get to have an idea about how the fabric moves when you walk (important when purchasing skirts, for example, and also you can see the fit of the trousers).
In addition, the quality is so good the clothes last 'years', and because they are mostly classic styles it is appropriate to continue to wear them [e.g. I find it good to have a new 'look' each year, but after 3 years of not wearing a set of clothes, then you can bring them back and people have forgotten!]

I'm very disappointing with one of their staff members
On 23rd September my 72 year old mother was shopping in the Sheffield store and asked an employee for assistance he was very rude and surly towards my mother and my mother said he smelled of alcohol he didn't assist her and swore at her as he walked away
A young girl that worked there then asked if my mother was Okay she explained what had just happened and the young girl suggested she complain via email as its fastest way. Took me a while to actually get a reply from about 20 different emails they said they would investigate the matter and gave a 10 pound gift card to apologise.
The young girl said there have been problems with him before and surprised he's still working there.
My mother is now to scared to go back as for an elderly lady this was very intimidating
You have lost lifelong custom from our families due to one horrid employee
Our complaints appear to achieve nothing
So now want to warn anyone about this so hopefully they will not face the same treatment
I have had a very bad experience with M&S and multiple times,
They consistently use poor courier services, deliver late and never take ownership,
I bought a jacket from them on 13th Aug 2022 and the promised date of delivery was 18th Aug,
They didn't deliver, and their associate said when they mention a date, they generally take 2-3 more days,
Then no delivery on 19th, 20th. Now its 22nd and still no response or ownership from them or even the courier. I will not recommend these guys to anyone
Hours days weeks buying crap on the internet. Then when I've totally given up I walk into M&S and find the best quality clothing. Still the best clothes in the UK
Order 2 items online for next day delivery. One item was delayed and I had a refund for the delivery without requesting it. Plus an apolog.

Poor quality dark blue OSCAR sofa& chair
Bought a dark blue OSCAR sofa& chair in April, by August it had faded in places, M&S expert came out said it looked 6 year old, M&S did nothing about it saying UV damage! DO NOT BUY a dark blue it is not fit for purpose and M&S will do nothing about it. If you do buy one cover it up or leave it in the dark. Not impressed with M&S and may never purchases anything again from them. M&S complaint ref no *******J

Turned up to collect an already problematic order gone a little wrong (which was kindly compensated without reservation), to find myself presented with a double of my very expensive order, unbeknown to the staff which was very clearly an opportunity for the goods to be taken away without anyone being the wiser...
Given my honest nature I informed the lovely Redda@ Muswell Hill and was very courteously looked after and matter dealt with effortlessly in what could have been a worse fiasco than it already was, Redda always ensuring I was assured my customer and honesty in not walking away was greatly appreciated and my being a loyal customer being truly valued...
Not an easy job being on the receiving end when things go wrong and the way the matter was dealt with (taking 40 minutes after numerous calls to HQ and double checking everything), Redda proved herself worthy of measurable praise in dealing with the situation and ensuring my welfare and wellbeing (I have disability restrictions to contend with) was also taken care of at all times.
Credit should be given we're its due, usually customers are sent away to follow up complaints online when this happens, however the time care and attention was truly appreciated and commendable

Over recent years l have been very disappointed with m&s. Even though l am now over 70 l do like modern clothes (dresses). L feel since they stop Per Una make which always had bright colour, different designs, which made you feel cheerful, happy and stylish. Now l find the ladies clothing very fuddy, duddy, dark and miserable designs. Last birthday l was given a clothes voucher to spend at m&s but all the dresses have waists, ties, dark dowdy colours and its summer now. All l ask is when will m&s learn that women middle age, young at heart elderly and even young teenagers want to buy trendy clothes. This is why Mark's and Spencer's are going down the dumps. Wake up, bring back Per Una again and lower the prices, then you might make a recovery because something needs to be done. For years l brought my clothes only from m&s but not now. It makes me feel so depressed they are so horrible. When l venture in the local store occasionally and that's not often l feel depressed. A very disappointed customer.
I bought a set of pyjamas for inr 2,500/- from M&S store at westend mall Pune, and it literally tore in one wash. Didn't expect this quality from M&S.
