I paid £30 for their Go Unlimited plus plan (advertised as 30 days unlimited calls) and I couldn't even call through to my chosen country. I requested a refund which they refused. Within 4 days of buying their plus plan they blocked my number. I didn't even get a chance to use my remaining unlimited 30 days minutes to call in the UK. Their customer service is terrible. They don't care about the customer experience. They only care about taking your money.
When I tried to get my account number and transfer pin to transfer my number to another carrier. They ask what company do I transfer to and the most frequent number that I call. Asking about the most frequent number that I call is the way they try to force you to stay with them. I tried telling them with my family's number and it didn't work. Who the fk know the most frequent number they called.
Most horrifying experience with lyca mobile sim... I lost my156$ and still my number not working or they don't gave me activation number and pin for port out... Please do not use this lyca...
Universally difficult to understand India Call Center reps. Simply read scripts that are unhelpful and uninformative. Tried to Port In a number from the website for an activation and received a "Success. Undefined" message at the end. 5 days later called to check on port in status and was repeatedly told to wait 4-24hours for port in (that's what the script said) even though it's been FIVE days. Related the 5 day duration to the rep and simply received the REPEATED "4-24 hours" script. Requested Supervisor. Was told to call BACK "in an hour" for a Supervisor!
Worst mobile company. Abosolute rip off! Signed up for £15.00 a month plan been charged £25 per month since and customer service is SHOCKING... (same happened to others I know of)

I paid 5 pounds for my sim then topped it up and couldn't use it for more than a week!
I sent messages and emails, nobody replied and nothing happened. Luckily my husband just gave up his 5 pounds he paid on his Lyca sim and bought a Vodafone sim, we would have been lost in UK!
Problem with my incoming calls. Can't see the correct caller ID (number) shows random numbers and change for every incoming calls.
Lycamobile predents to work on it since One Month!
No feedback and bearly no follow up.

The worst company in the world.I had 422 kr on my Sim card.So they block my Sim card and all my money dissapeard.So they gave me a new Sim card and I had to charge again every month 200 kr(20 euro).I don t understand why the are allowed in European Union...they are thieves,scammers,I hope their boss will spend all the money he steal in chimioterapia.
Lyca Mobile is a scam. They initially offered 5$ per month for 6 months with auto-renewal.
After the end of the first month is disabled the account is forced to purchase 20$ plan per month or lose the number.
I ordered a 30 day sim blagged by MSE on 4 Nov, the sim has not arrived to this date 17 Nov.
I have spent many hours on chat and attempting to contact Lycra.
I eventually considered that the company had been hacked and this was a scam but eventually I had a reply through another trusted review site.
I have lost confidence and have cancelled the sim contract.
My last two experiences. I had 15 swedish crowns left on my card, I bougt an additional charge of 100 crowns and when I checked my balance it was 105 crowns.
Last week I bought 100 crowns of charge when only had 3,5 crowns left. Today I called Iran and talked for about 5 minutes, and the call was discontinued! They claimed that I only had 4,5 crowns!
I'm not going to use Lykamobil any longer. They are not reliable at all.
I bought a layca mobile simcard. I have been trying activate it for five days. I have three reference number, *********************. I have called their customer service more than 30 times. Each time I had to wait for more than 10 minutes, each time it took 30 minutes to explain my problem. Their representatives has bad accent, even if I have language problem I can clearly understand that they cannot speak English clearly. It is such a terrible company. Please avoid it. When I explained them my unsatisfaction and asked them refund, they rejected my request very rudely by saying"did you read the agreement it says no money back. You can see our conversations.

Customer service sucks, they are the worst and impatient. They have been dealing with me for months, they asked the same questions every single time, and they are not there to solve problems, they are just wasting my time. DONOT buy, the sim card or phone plan is the WORST, I have been unable to received calls for 3 months and they do not give a f*. After raised the same issued couple of times, they BLOCKED me. What kind of company is this? Customer service is the most irresponsible and worst attituded. I will leave reviews on every single one of the platform that is related to Lycamobile. TRASH
Illegally charged me, cannot cancel the charges, have to cancel the credit card. They apply practices of digital thieves.
There is nothing good about this service provider. They won't even let you port your number to another carrier. The customer service agents have no clue on your account and extremely bad web portal
While I love lyca for its cheap rates for Switzerland to call south asia, I am pissed of with their data package. Though it's also cheaper than local swisscom package, if the package finishes and you are not aware, then simply by keeping the data on fire a few hours even if you don't surf or download, all your balance will be gone... I lost twice about CHF 150.- each time, while my data package of 6CHF lasts me around 1 month. I complains twice but no one pays heed to your cry in the wilderness. Its basically looting...

They will take your number and not activate timely, greedy people. Stay away by all means, do not go for any of their offers, dropped connections and what not.
I have never dealth with such inept people in all my life. We got a two month plan to start with (December 2022) and from day one, people had trouble calling me and leaving a voice message. I could at least see who called. It started Dec. 11,2022. When I called friends, they said the name on their phone said another name. I also got a call for this particular person. Then, no one could call me...said invalid mailbox. Then I couldn't call anyone, then I had no internet...it was one thing after another and I called at least 5 times and all I ever got was they willl escalate the problem to their tech team. Well, here we are in April and nothing has been fixed. (my final time with Lyca was March 29th, 2023). Pay a little more and get someone is knows what they are doing and actually have a help desk.
Answer: Is a legitime scam company that have the worst and arogant customer service ever! I do not reccomend at all!
