Very satisfied with Lowes. Except for their computer system. They cannot seem to change address or phone number information. Installation contractors went to old address and keep calling old number. Very annoying for such a big company not to be able to get a simple change accomplished.
Bought new washer dryer. Delivery and installation included. Has to sign that there were "no leaks" There were none while the delivery guys were there. After 3 quick loads, the discharge hose where it attaches to the machine blew off flooding my brand new home. The clamp that was supposed to hold it was never positioned properly, the hose was shoved into place with no clamp to hold it. Lowes's refuses to take responsibility.

Countertop installation damage was "incidental," leaving gaping holes all the way through the drywall. Lowe's takes zero responsibility for the damage done to your house. Never again; spend the little additional money and avoid the frustration, expense, and wasted time talking with them.
I recently drove to the Lowe's in Destin, Fl to purchase some Miracle Grow in-ground soil in 2 cu ft bags. I checked the computer before leaving and verified the price was $5.00 ea. Normally $8.28 but on sale until Oct 14. When I got there the price on the shelf was $8.28. I asked the garden center associate and he told me it was not on sale. When I questioned him about the online ad, he called his manager. She came and also told me it was not on sale and that I was mistaken. When I got home I checked again and the price was $5.00 just as I had told them. I called the Destin store customer service and told them of the error and she checked the computer and agreed with me and said she would inform the garden center of the error and asked if I wanted to return to buy the items (I wanted 10 bags). I let her know that I was not going to drive the twenty-five mile round trip and pay the $10.00 bridge tolls, but I did not appreciate being told that I was mistaken and did not know what I was talking about by their employees because they were too lazy to check the computer themselves after I had informed them of the mistake. I also am not happy that there is no way to send this review (complaint) directly to Lowe's. They provide no option on their website to send a complaint, only option is to call customer service at that store and I don't believe that will go anywhere and be corrected.
Just terrible. Ordered a product a month ago and paid for scheduled delivery... on scheduled delivery date, I called them as I waited and waited, and their delivery people say, oh, it will be delivered today and their delivery windows on their system is 8am-8pm. Apparently they lied. The product wasn't even in their warehouse to be delivered at all and their delivery system people didn't even know. Their system is terrible. So waited another week for delivery, and then suddenly said there is another delay and schedule push out. At this point, still waiting for my product. So painful... order from Amazon never have this issue.
Lowes treats customers like crud. They don't even try to pretend to care. I have shopped there for years. I give them chance after chance. I am done with Lowes. Going to Home Dept from now on.
I bought flooring and the related install services in June. One of the incentives for the purchase was a significant rebate offer. I filed the rebate on June 28th. It's September 22, and I'm still waiting. I called the support center today and they told me that it could be another 6 to 8 weeks. This is unacceptable. In today's computer age, where the order/purchase information was on-line and the rebate information was entered on-line, it should have taken days not months to process. Again, it's not OK.
Can we say... UNPROFESSIONAL! I recently purchased a handheld vacuum and when I got home and opened the box, which was poorly taped up (didn't noticed until I actually went to open it), there was no vacuum! Only a half full Dr Pepper bottle and a roll of lent roll paper! I immediately took it back for a refund and guess what! I was made to be a liar and the culprit! EVEN THOUGH I PRODUCED THE RECIEPT OF PURCHASE! A whole lot of whispers And huddling and wide eyeballs. Stares and accusations that I was the one who did it. "Sorry we cant give you your money back." HUH?! "I would like to speak to the manager." Instead of the employees getting the manager, they said it was just them. Lol. They proceeded to tell me they weren't going to give me my money back because they had already sold the item. What in the world does that have to do with me? It sounds like this Lowe's Location needs to get their employees in order. "Well why did they give you $6 off?" Oh, because I work there I would know huh? Lmao. This was a poor experience and I will be spreading the word about how they treat their customers. I would give it no stars but Yelp has not yet added that feature. Bald Ginger bearded man and a short Dark haired woman. WRONG!

Don't shop Lowes on-line. This company took so long to deliver my order they canceled one of the items from the order. Because they sold out the item after I ordered it. Almost eight weeks to deliver is bad enough. I was given a delivery date. After I waited home, missing work, in the late morning I was called to tell me they could not deliver the items. I was given a second delivery date. I was again called the day the delivery was to come, with them saying a second time they were rescheduling. The third date, you guessed it they rescheduled. When the truck did show only half the order and they are asking me to receive the other half on yetW another day off of work. To make things worse I was charged for the items twice and charged for delivery three times. After I went to the store they acted like I was lying about being charged twice. I still don't know if the billing is straight.
Second Story
Ordered an internet order during this same period of time for pickup. Received an email my order was ready. Went to pick it up and they had no idea where the order was. Waited over an hour while they counted out the 300 items on the order. The sad thing here is someone that came to the store to purchase a similar item had his order pulled ahead of me.
If you are foolish enough to shop Lowes go to the store pick out your items and take them home. If you don't you may be paying multiple delivery charges and paying for your items multiple times.
It may be a good idea to find another place to shop.
I bought a futon sofa on-line from Lowe's for sons Dorm. Lowe's promised shipment in 6 days, then delayed to 9 days and it still is not here going on 3 weeks. Lowe's takes your money holds on to it for a month and cannot deliver. Now its a headache trying to get your money back!
DO NOT SHOP LOWE'S! My daughter in law who is 8 months pregnant was in the Orem, Utah Lowe's she spent almost an hour looking for a product while there she stopped multiple employees for help all were useless! The worst was Vafanti she works in customer service. My daughter in law asked her for help, she told her where the product should be, then she told my daughter in law she is fat! My daughter in law told her I'm pregnant! Vafanti said I know you need to exercise! My daughter in law went to her car and cried! I called and spoke to Andy the assistant manager. He would not give me their employee numbers he said I don't need them. He laughed when I explained what happened! I told him I don't care if someone is fat, missing teeth or whatever a employee has no right to say that to anyone! I informed him I will be contacting corporate due to his response too. He said he will talk to her but that isn't enough! I had to offer my daughter in laws info and told him he needs to call and apologize now! He still hasn't called her and it's been over an hour! Never shopping Lowe's again! We had been shopping there for over 30 years from now on Home Depot Only!
Lowe's in Katy, TX is the worst! Bought a washer/dryer with platforms and was told they would install and haul away the old washer/dryer. Great. Day came, they were late and refused to install or haul away old appliances. I did pay extra for the haul away service. Getting someone on the phone was an absolute nightmare. They literally would pick up the store phone and hang it up. You could hear people talking in the background and they would just hang up. Or they'd transfer you and it rang literally for 30 minutes and nobody from that "department" answered. Called again after many hang ups and run around finally asked to speak to the store manager. Transferred, phone rang and rang for about 40 rings then someone picked up and put the line on hold. Held for an hour nobody picked up. This went on for a day and about 4 hours. Spoke to one man during the 4 hours and was told "oh that's delivery" where I was once again transferred and hung up on. Finally went to the store where they were not much help all the sudden without an additional sale. Finally got issue resolved but it should not have been this hard. Not by a longshot. They need to hire people to man the phones and take messages or invest in a voicemail system that is actually used. To just pick up and hang up is inexcusable and horrible customer service not to mention the delivery problems. Wouldn't let Lowes pet my dog much less use their services for anything else.
Do not use Wasilla Lowe's. We bought new washer and dryer from Lowe's and made sure they could also deliver them and install them. The day of delivery they never showed up. After calling and complaining they set up delivery for the next day. Upon delivery they indicated that they could not install my gas dryer as they are not allowed. We had to call someone lease to hook up our dryer. Why did Lowe's say they could do delivery and installation? They lied and have the worse customer service I have ever seen. I will never use Lowe's again. They are full of broken promises.
This morning our 15 year old refrigerator quit working. We scrambled to keep everything cold. Meanwhile I took the pickup to Lowe's in Phillipsburg New Jersey and found exactly what we need. Barely fits the space, but exactly what we want. Problem is, Lowe's won't sell me the floor model. Its an understatement to say that its hard to find what you want with Covid these days. It's not like we decided to upgrade. No, we don't have a refrigerator. I even called Lowe's corporate office. Did it make a difference? Nope. Company policy. We've been regular customers of Lowe's for years. Always go there first. Between this and other poor customer service experiences, I am thinking I should switch to the Phillipsburg Home Depot as our go to place instead.
I was in Lowes store trying to get a linoleum piece cut, No one around, went over to another section and asked for assistance and was told he had no training in that section, fair enough. But he did direct me to the special assistance needed notice which went unanswered for about ten minutes. Then happened to see an employee with cart unloading flooring. I asked if it was possible to get assistance with linoleum. Was told he is the only one working and he has to unload this cart and then fill another order before he could get to me. That was so bad but for the way he said it. Made me feel very unimportant. I have spent a lot of money at Lowes over the years. Went to Home Depot after that and was treat very well and very quickly.

Doing business would suggest you give a damn about the trash you sell, which it has become abundantly clear you do not. Support, that is a joke. We just purchased this after 2 days of non-stop looking. We love it. Plenty of room for everything, esp. A big gallon of maple syrup, wine bottles, etc. The sep. Compartment for cheeses, luncheon meat, yogurt is a big plus! The crispers are average size. The freezer has plenty of space with an extra compartment for bread and icecream, and very organized is the entire fridge/freezer. The adjustable dividers in the door are great. Oh, and it is not noisy, it's so extremely quiet. Our old fridge you constantly heard! I would recommend. We love LG, our washer n dryer are also LG so...

After being ignored by two employees, I went to the service desk for assistance. I was directed to a manager named Sam. Sam was extremely rude, short, and would not look directly at me. He offered no help. Then I realized why he was not looking me in the eyes. It was because he was staring at my chest! I left without making the planned $500 purchase. I contacted Lowes who put me in touch with the store manager, Jason Trail. Mr Trail did not take my complaint seriously. He said he had spoken to Sam who denied everything. I guess that was enough for Mr Trail to sweep me under the rug.
Lowes will tell you how they value you as a customer, but it's BS.

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
