*Issue was finally resolved by an associate great with customer service... Today has been so frustrating. Bought a dishwasher, brought it home and top completely cracked. Then drove back, got another and this one dented! Managed refused to make arrangements to now pick up 2nd defective dishwasher causing a third trip back! Only got 10% off of one we now have to order. We have two kids, borrowing a truck and little time on our hands yet a huge company like Lowe's can't rectify the problem by simply picking it up for us. Entire day wasted!
I ordered a Christmas tree from Lowe's on Dec. 12th with the expectation that the tree would be delivered by Dec. 17th. It is now 3 days before Christmas and, after calling Lowe's, I am told that the tree will not be delivered by the holiday. Worse yet, the order can not be cancelled even though only a shipping label has been sent to Fedex.
I was also told that I could return the tree to the store for a full refund by Jan. 1st.
I have a small car and this is a 6 1/2 foot Christmas tree - NO PROBLEM THERE.
The other day an employee at Chicago Brickyard Lowes yelled at me because I stood in wrong line. Complained to menager Adrian 4 times, he flatly refused to do anything. Wrote to chief director of customer relations. He wrote back that they don't do anything to employees, they only coach them. He also threaten me that our email exchange is confidential and under law repercussion I can't do anything else with it. Wow, wow. Wow, wow,. I'm still speechless. Wow
Lowe's uses a 3rd party delivery service for their washers and dryers. We bought a new set on a Saturday. It was delivered on Monday which I was thrilled with! They brought the appliances in and then they said that their company sent them with no hoses, etc to hook everything up with. They said they would be back on Tuesday morning and never showed up. I called Installation at the store and explained the situation. Two guys showed up on Wednesday bringing no hoses, etc to hook up the appliances and had no idea why they were there. One of the guys went back to the truck and was able to find what they needed in some random bag he was talking about. They were bad mouthing the Monday delivery guys and were very unprofessional. I had my fingers crossed that all was properly installed and after my husband tweaked the dryer hose, it's all good. Not impressed at all and they made Lowe's look bad. I'm just happy that it's all working!

In South Jacksonville half of the customers do not wear masks. While there is a sign on the front door to wear masks there is no sales person upfront reinforcing it.
Sitting here waiting curbside. Looked at my phone and I've told them I was at #6 18 minutes ago. Had to call back. It's 28 degrees outside. I wouldn't give a bad review but for the fact this is the 3rd time in a row I've waited up to 20 minutes. When I received an email saying it was ready. Each time was non-busy times of the day. Visited the store recently to purchase a Christmas tree. No one outside to help customers, after purchase informed they could not tie down the tree only put it one the car. After getting help from a kind associate who was working on someone looking at it, was rudely approached by needless to say a manager who did not have all his facts. He attacked me and the idea of asking for someone to look at the tree on the roof, accused me of calling and blaming Lowes for tying it correctly and then boasted that he was a manager. I asked for my money back he was so belligerent, another manager came and took the tree off my car.
Very bad time at BELLEVILLE, ILINOIS, CARLYLE AVE. This store refused to refund to the card it was purchased. With invoice box for product personal information, Just cost this store thousands in home improvement sales, I will never shop ANY lowes again. Ruined my thanksgiving SAD
We were selling our 8 month old Frigidaire fridge for 2k that evening, until the 2 delivery men dented it in 4 places and busted up our wall. I obviously could not sell the fridge and now they won't answer the phone to fix what they have damaged. And they pocketed our screws for the fridge too.
Ordered new Top of the line refrigerator. Shows up dented..., cold air leaks out. So, 6 week until a replacement is available. They offered $100.00 off, to live with it (Felt like a slap in the face) How many hours of complaing is this gonna take to get what I paid for?
New fridge had to be repaired 4x. Wrong hood ordered. Now dishwasher not working. Customer service bad and slow. Employees rude. Management incompetent.
The most unprofessional delivery people I've seen and the driver told my daughter he needs to take a covid test, scary.
Store manager was very dismissive very frustrating.
I bought a dishwasher a few months ago and it is a disaster. I called Lowes and they told me to call Frigidare. I called Frigidare and they sent me back to Lowes. The Managers never call me back. I just asked the Salesperson if they could take this back and I would pay the difference to get another dishwasher. He advised me that I need to buy another one and they would give me a discount. Are you kidding me?
Lowes uses third party delivery and they did not tell me how to contact them to complain.
My refrigerator door needed to be switched to the opposite side.
The freezer door was tilted and out of line with the lower door. I brought this to the attention of the men working on the door. They took a picture of the hinge and said to me that their was nothing wrong with door. They added that when the door are switched 90 percent of the time they have an issue, so it is normal.
They were unable to tell me what is wrong or what they were going to do about the issue. They told me to call Lowes. None of this made any sense to me.
Instead of fixing the problem they made excuses. I told them to take the refrigerator back. They refused because it was signed for prior to my inspection.
After they left I also discover that they had not put the stopper on the bottom door which prevents the door from swinging to far.
Also they left the plastic wrap under the door handles, so when you remove the wrap, strands of plastic are gummed up in the crevice. The door handles had to be taken off again.
The freezer door also had scratches doing across the front of it.
I called a manager and was told I have to buy order and pay for another refrigerator and it my take over a month to get it. I was told they have third party delivery. I was given no information to contact their management.
Purchased kitchen cabinets in Aug. Delivered lat week and one was completely wrong and one was broken. Keep getting run around and have to continue to wait on new cabinets.
Husband and I have been without kitchen since august. Sales rep told us in august delivery was 2-3 weeks. Here we are months later and nothing.
The employee was fired for being misleading to customers. I've emailed the CEO as well and ignored.
I've filed complaints with BBB ATTORNEY GENERAL AND WILL GO TO MEDIA AND COURT

Was delivered a fridge in a tattered box with dents and scratches. Was originally offered a half off on the return but then that wasn't honored. Instead they want me to ship it back and receive a new one. I don't know why they want it back over giving half the money. It's not like they should resell it.
I have been waiting on a whirlpool stove to arrive. Was paid in full Aug 1st. I keep getting a call from someone putting me off and giving me later dates for delivery. Then called today and said my freezer was in. I asked the guy was that a bonus for me waiting so long and Lowes using my money while I'm without? It's almost cooking season... I WANT MY STOVE!
I ordered a refrigerator. I did it by phone and online. I scheduled a time. I called the night before to be sure I had to be at home between 7:30am and 11:30 am. I waited and at 11:00 they sent a text that delivery was postponed for 6 weeks. I called and they offered me another refrigerator for $250. More. I said I will wait 6 weeks for one I wanted. I checked 2 days later on line and order was removed by them, not me. If I could give a Zero star, I would.

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
