I went to Lows to look at a washer/dryer, and there was a guy with a Lowes uniform saying they have a program where the price of appliances would be very little - just had to attend a meeting. Turns out they signed me up for a solar panel estimate!
I keep getting calls (5 today) trying to schedule a meeting to talk to me about solar and I keep telling them I didn't talk to anyone about solar and I don't want solar. Later, I got an email about an installation appointment from Lowes, called them to ask what it was about. Yup, solar panels. I said cancel I'm not interested. She said hold on and then got a solar sales guy on the phone. I told them to F**k off I don't want solar. I'm sure they'll be hassling me again.
Makes me not want to do business with them if this is how they treat their customers.

I would like to know did you guys change any policy that whoever going to check out any item they have to show their id card. My dad went to the store and bought the bag of Bird food and the person on the cashier he asked his id card. My question is why he asked his id card his age is 60 and he is not buying any alcohol or something hazardous then why he asking his id card. When my brother asked him and he replied that the company changes the rule and we have to check this to the customer.
This never happens before we used to go to the store all the time. Why he is so racist with my dad. I have a receipt with me. This store is located in Little Rock 1100 South Bowman Road

I love to cruise the garden center with all of it's color and plants, and I always come home with a great buy! They also have a good plant return policy, with your receipt, if your plant doesn't make it!
I just can't believe how they don't care how terrible their website is. Website is so slow, payment processing terrible. I give up. On the bright side, if they can stay in business, I'm a big optimist for my business.
Ordered a range online after viewing one in the store. Got a delivery date and on the morning of the expected delivery received this message: "It shipped to our distribution center on 4/15/20 but did not arrive in time to make the truck we received yesterday. I will have to reschedule your delivery."
Got a new delivery date scheduled and the day before got this message: "The range did not come in on today's truck. I will have our customer service desk call to check if they can get an ETA and call you to schedule."
Still waiting on customer service call.
Do not use Wasilla Lowe's. We bought new washer and dryer from Lowe's and made sure they could also deliver them and install them. The day of delivery they never showed up. After calling and complaining they set up delivery for the next day. Upon delivery they indicated that they could not install my gas dryer as they are not allowed. We had to call someone lease to hook up our dryer. Why did Lowe's say they could do delivery and installation? They lied and have the worse customer service I have ever seen. I will never use Lowe's again. They are full of broken promises.

Lowes change the delivery date for my refrigerator three times without notice to me and without even asking if the "new" date was convenient. Lost work and been eating out for weeks now and no consideration from theis POS company. Never buy appliances from them
I paid to have carpet installed in one of my bedrooms. The installer showed up three hours late with a dented truck, empty beer cans in the back and was at my house until after 8pm. It was disturbing to say the least. To add to the insanity, he left the soiled carpet so I had to pay someone in town to haul it off. I would not recommend Lowes to anyone.
I was sent a real nice email of clearance items. I went through and picked several items to buy just to find out nothing was in stock. Then today 9/7/15 I get an email reminding me that my cart will expire. I checked my items and they still were not in stock.
I never got a Lowe's card in 60 years. I always had to pay cash. Never got a job. We are old and disabled. My husband can't walk. The refrig didn't last. The hot water heater took thousands to put in. Lowe's doesn't care. They don't help u. They stand around a lot. The tomato seeds were old. Grow up Lowe's
If I could give this company zero stars I would. Ordering from Lowe's was an absolute nightmare. Three times we have waited for their delivery logging more than 16 hours of time frames for them to not show up, then missing one of the pedestals that we ordered and refused to still install the washer and dryer that we ordered. Then promised to show up two days later to install everything and we waited all day for them to not even show. We called and asked to speak to a manager and the manager said that they declined to take our call. We insisted, and she finally answered and was the rudest person we have ever dealt with. Again, said someone would call us within 24 hours and they never do. We ended up after all of this hassle, canceling our order and ordering somewhere else. Buyer beware do not order from this company! So much wasted time to still be out of a washer and dryer'
I've had good experiences with this company. One order the sent damaged goods. They were plastic containers and I didn't check them, just used them as necessary. When getting near the bottom found out they were damaged. I had to duct tape them inside and out in order to use them for my purpose.
Every body there jumps out to help you. Not hard to find it when you need it. Unlike other homebuilding stores locally.
People are there to help you and not complaining while they are doing it. I like Lowes they got just about everything I need.
And they have a really good gardening section with patios, chairs. Plants, decorations, You name it. They Make you feel like your a part of. Great people
Well I finally got it delivered. They cam in and installed it quickly left it a bit high. Then I tried to back and every time I did the food was over done so I called and they guided me to adjust the heat. I asked for a service person to check the setting. But they didn't suggested I get a thermometer and check. The oven was running 50 degree too high. And the stove take forever to get hot. Don't know why they did not check everything before leaving
I finally said something about where they put thier price tags and always charge us more then we believe we're being charged. The manager on duty this Monday night was a real POS! Man. He had an excuse and a way to blame me for where the merchandise was stored along side the price tags. 3 places a dewalt 20v shop vac said $99. It looked exactly like the one I grabbed but I check out it was $149. So I finally said something and Julio didn't like that. Well F him and screw Lowes. I'm never going back into any store with that name on it. I've dropped over 30k in the last few months remodeling and I just wonder how much I've over spent. Well they'll never get a dime from me again. I tried to do my part by keeping brick and mortar alive but screw it, I'm going home and getting an Amazon membership. Getting ripped off by helping people keep thier jobs locally. Forget you people
Be careful, went online to get a price for plywood, pulled from shelf and saw a higher price than online, found out the price at the store was 20 percent more than online. They said the price was for a Lowes in another area, same state, two counties away. I thought Lowes would price match, nope. The sad part is the plywood was damaged and probably the same bundle rejected form the local lumber supplier.
I like Lowes because of the selection of items it carries. However they are not as helpful as they once were and not friendly at all. I tend to stay with home depot because of their customer service instead of shopping at Lowes. At times though Lowes has the best deal or the product I want so I will go there but again lack of customer service does not make me a constant customer of theirs and I go only when I need to
I'm writing this review because my parents recently ordered a stove from Lowe's. My father paid for the stove, an installation fee and a delivery fee. When the stove was delivered my parents get told by one of the delivery people that they don't have a gas permit to install the gas/electric stove my parents ordered. My parents were able to return the stove and get a partial refund as Lowe's took out a return fee. I do not recommend buying household appliances like stoves and dishwashers(my aunt had a similar experience when she bought a dishwasher from them). Needless to say my parents and I did not like the outcome of their purchase from Lowe's.
Dont work for this company if you intend to make a living. A fulltime associate with 20 yrs customer sales exp will make about $14.50 a hour(if you're lucky). During the interview, I was told I would recieve a review and raise based on work ethic and general reliability. It never happened. No review, they gave EVERYONE a automatic 10cent raise...thats all. They also lie to customers and are excessive in their false advertisements. The picture below shows the original price as a white tag and the yellow tag replacing the original. The yellow tag is labeled as "clearance" with a fake price (thats right! They expect associates to be dishonest).The quality of service is low because the only people who can afford to work there are teenagers or partially retired. Youll need 2 sources of income if you work at lowes.
