Omg, fix your slow as molasses website! Its beyond ridiculous that it takes several minutes for a page to load! It's not the connection on my end - I have no issues navigating Home Depots site. I'll shop there since they seems to have a better business sense
0n 10/21/2021 I order carpet from the Lowes store in Auburn, WA. It was supposed to be installed in the first of November. The second week of Nov. I called and they said it was on its way and would be at the installers within a week. I called the next week and they told me that the carpet had arrived and they just needed to confirm something with the installers by email. The last week of Nov. I called again and they told me that the carpet was in and they were still confirming things with the installers. The first week of Dec, I called and was told that the carpet had never been delivered and the manufacturer was out of stock and would not have any of that specific carpet in the near future. No company should ever lie to its customers.
Ordered a LG front loading washing machine (WM3600 model) from their Sandy Springs (Atlanta) location. Paid at the store on Jan 5,2022. They said that it will take a few weeks to deliver and gave us a date of Jan 22. They also said that the delivery company will call us the day before the delivery and give a more specific time for the delivery date.
3-4 days later, we got an email that said the delivery date had been changed to Jan 19th. No more phone calls or emails.
Suddenly one day (Jan 18th), my wife hears this huge banging on the front door (like when the cops show up). It was the Lowe's delivery guy with the washing machine. Since I wasn't home and given the loud / rude banging, and given the lack of notice (no phone call the previous day, no other email), she said she is not comfortable having it installed when she was alone at home. The guy said a few rude things and left. Didn't hear from Lowe's for 3-4 days more.
Then again the same guy showed up... this time on a Saturday. Again with no previous phone call or email to let us know about the delivery. But since I was at home, I said let's do it. He brought the new washer, took out the old washer... and was about to leave.
I asked him why he is not installing it and why he was not using the new hoses that we had paid for. He immediately raised his voice and said that we haven't paid for the hoses and he won't install it. Made a big deal of showing me his order from Lowe's which didn't have the water hoses listed. So I took out my receipt and tried to show him the installation fees of $30 and the water hoses of $32.38 listed on the receipt. He refused to look at the receipt, said he doesn't have any spare hoses, said he doesn't work for Lowe's (just a delivery company) and said he is just going to take back the new washer. So I said that is fine, as long as he brings back my old washer back into the house. He left in a big huff... and then came back with a new set of water hoses and installed the new washer. The washer works fine.

I will make this as short as I can because I absolutely over this situation. I purchased a fence for $4000 and paid cash for it. I bought it off of Justin Mault. It took them almost 4 months to even call me to set up a time to install. We set up several different dates do to the contractors no call or no shows. To make it better I burned days of vacation for these no call no shows! Once we had it installed the job was horrendous! The whole reason I purchased this fence is so my dogs don't escape from the back yard. Everything about this fence is junk! The posts are all uneven. The wire on the bottom is on the wrong side of the posts. Not to mention there is a gap so big that I can walk through it. This defeats the purpose of even having a fence! I won't buy a pack of gum from Lowe's ever again!
I'm so frustrated. I spent thousands of dollars on new windows, only to have the Project Coordinator half-$#*! the job, forget to order key parts and then quit without turning my file over. Now, I'm having to follow up daily with the new coordinator and getting zero response. Ordered my windows in June. It's now February, 7 months later, and my window job is still incomplete.
I finally said something about where they put thier price tags and always charge us more then we believe we're being charged. The manager on duty this Monday night was a real POS! Man. He had an excuse and a way to blame me for where the merchandise was stored along side the price tags. 3 places a dewalt 20v shop vac said $99. It looked exactly like the one I grabbed but I check out it was $149. So I finally said something and Julio didn't like that. Well F him and screw Lowes. I'm never going back into any store with that name on it. I've dropped over 30k in the last few months remodeling and I just wonder how much I've over spent. Well they'll never get a dime from me again. I tried to do my part by keeping brick and mortar alive but screw it, I'm going home and getting an Amazon membership. Getting ripped off by helping people keep thier jobs locally. Forget you people
We ordered and paid for a washing machine from Lowes as they were pretty much the only company that had it available. They set up an appointment to deliver it on Jan 29th telling us that the delivery window was from 8 AM until 8 PM. I questioned the giant window since it made us sit home all day waiting, but they told me that was the only option. So we sat home all day, never hearing a word. I finally called they at 7 PM to see if they were still coming. No, they were not…. After sitting home all day. They claim they tried to delivery, but they did not. No phone call, no knock on the door and we never left our house. Lowes price was $100 more than Home Depot, but Home Depot was out of stock. Now we are praying that they deliver it on Feb 1st and we will have to take off work to be here…. But I do not trust them. I wish we had another option. I will be avoiding Lowes whenever possible.
Lowered my credit limit from 4000 to 600 because one of my other credit cards has high usage. They also charged me late fees because their system kicked back 2 payments I made. System error she said. So now my credit score I'd reflecting bad mark because Lowes reduced my credit limit to 600 from 4000 and I have balance of 540 on Lowes card. Which 200 payment and 97 payment were kicked back. Therefore giving me a late payment and maxing me out on Lowes card. I'm not happy at all. I'll be paying this off and closing it out.
First drove to the champaign lowes and they did not have the unit that they said they did and would not sell the display. Then ordered one from the terre haute store on 1-11-22 and it should have been in on 1-25-22 looked to day 1-24-22 to check on status and found out it went to back order with no eta. They are selling stuff they do not have. Do not trust them with anything.
I recently went to Lowe's on David McLeod Blvd. I asked an employee where an item was located. He totally ignored my question and then proceeded to be very rude saying he knows nothing. It was in the lawn mower department. I then went to find someone else and he was playing on his phone and would not even acknowledge me. These two employees would be terminated immediately if I was their manager. Worst customer service in Florence. Both were young men that worked in the lawn mower area. Please find out who they were and address it accordingly. This type of employee will ruin your business. Done with Lowe's for good until they get better management that won't tolerate this type of behavior.
Took literally all day to get in contact with customer service nobody knows a damn thing they all tell you something different I was told I can't track my washer order because it was ordered in store but I also ordered a dryer and I can track it just fine the color that was shipped was not the color that was ordered in store the receipt says these items will be delivered by 02/01 in store but the dryer from what I can see has already been delivered to store despite the estimation the only thing I was told about the washer by one customer service associate that there should definitely be a po number I was told by a different associate you can't track in store orders but if that's the truth why can I track my dryer that was ordered in store on the same receipt! In the end after explaining the situation on the phone I was treated like a jerk for wanting to know where my washer is wasted hours of life was told I was wrong given no solution to tracking and accomplished nothing but being treated like an $#*! and given the run around about something that clearly seems like a mistake on their end after paying $1900 for my appliances
Enbrighten 4pk plugs. Google shopping search Lowe's $17.41 curbside pickup. Clicked on it, took me to the Lowe's website. Not available for order in your area. Submitted my zip code, price wad $34.00. False advertising plain and simple.
I ordered Gas range and over range microwave, I went through hell to schedule installation. Customer service is basically useless. It took me couple of days to be able to purchase installation package for the gas range.
Then for the over range microwave, I had the option to purchase the installation online which I did and I was happy that at least I don't have to go through the painful process of purchasing the installation package. But I was wrong! It was even worse! There was no record of purchasing the installation package on installation department. I spent couple of hours talking to both customer service and installation department of lowes, they told me I "Cannot" purchase installation online; and they cannot help me and I should contact the sterling store to make that purchase again!
I am on hold on Store and after a long hold each time I get disconnected; keep calling again and they keep putting me on hold and no one is helping.
This is really messed up for a huge store like LOWE's! I would never ever purchase anything from LOWE's. I do not recommend it to anyone.
We ordered two washing machines and two dryers for our property a few months ago. These machines were in two different colors, silver and gray. First we waited a few months for the delivery. That was not a problem. COVID and it's after effects happened. The problem came at delivery. The delivery men stacked one silver and one gray one together on one floor. The second missed matched set was not mounted. They claimed they forgot the stacking set. Today we were notified that the delivery of the stacking set will be delivered. We waited and waited and waited. We call the Lowe's where we purchase the machines from, all we keep getting is the run around. The phone being hung up/ disconnected. Lowe's customer service needs serious improvement. Sorry Lowes, you can never get my business again. Your service stinks.

Why after calling lowe's in Bay Shore several times and 4 times going there they still refused to help us.
We also called the Lowe's corporate number and was told the would call us in 48 hours no return call as promised.We a few days latter called again and said something went wrong and they would call us back,
Guess what its 2 more weeks and no call. There a true blue company that does not care about the costumers.
They beat us for $75.00 and refuse to even give us a store credit. I owned several businesses and never seen anything like this. All the bay shore managers and corporate did zero top help us so sad!
$79 for a delivery fee? Are you kidding me with this? I live 4 miles from Lowes. There is no way that the cost of labor and gas is worth near that much. Total ripoff. I'd be willing to pay $25 but $79 is ridiculous. I don't have a way to transport the item I wish to purchase. I'm on a tight budget and I resent the severe overpricing of such a service especially after I spent over $4000 in 3 months to make the home I just purchased move-in ready. I appreciate the 10% military discount and I may shop in store but I will take my online business elsewhere. Get it together Lowes.
After taking all of the measurements for new kitchen appliances I called my nearest Lowe's to order everything I needed. After numerous attempts/days calling the Alton store no one ever answered. Guess they don't need the business.
Do not purchase appliances or any other major home products. Staff is not knowledgeable on products and Lowes is completely unable to manage delivery.

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
