Too many issues to even list in detail. Late arrival, rude crew leader, crew leader on his phone THE ENTIRE TIME they were here, just dropped the units in our laundry room, plugged them in and didn't even ask if the positioning was good for us, dryer vent line hooked up haphazard, refused to reverse dryer door swing as Lowe's promised. Complained to the Lowe's store manager and he scheduled a "service call" for the next day. Although not rude, these guys were no better. Have had various appliances delivered over the years but this is far and away the worst I have ever experienced.

First Lowes only has a one year warranty where Costco has two years with a small charge for an additional 3. Lowes charged me 500 for 5 years but they don't stand behind the the warranty I've been waiting 3 months for repair. Second their sales staff sold me a noisy piece of junk that doesn't get the clothes clean. I added a piece of clothing at the beginning of the wash cycle when then the washer stopped only part of the clothing was wet. This is a Maytagwasher and dryer. The dryer doesn't dry the clothes towels and jeans after running it three times. Do not buy from Lowes
I wanted to shop in the garden area and needed a rolling cart -- was going to buy fertilizer, plants, hoses, etc. I asked an employee who was SITTING on the check out counter where the carts are. His response was to point outside to the parking lot and tell me to go find one out there! Good reason Lowe's is so far behind Home Depot.
This review is of the Lowe's website. Since I have a small number of shares of Lowe's stock in my retirement account, I always try to buy here first. But, I have to say, every time I use their website, I end up frustrated and/or mad. It seems to go into a coma every time you choose a secondary option from those listed at bottom of page, Also, when doing a search it seems to have no intuitive nature at all. I have seen a number of time that I am searching for something I know they sell(Just to ensure it is in stock) and it comes back with no results. May I suggest that the web design team benchmark their search results with those of their competitor when looking for things that are.(On both response time and result)
This year we bought 3 major appliances and the delivery on all three was messed up. Two of the items were late and damaged. Got fed up and cancelled the 3rd one, they never even attempted to fix the issue. They didn't care when I told them we were never shopping there again. We had been customers for well over 20 years, spending lots of money and am now doing some remodeling so they are missing out on lots of sales.
I will never buy anything from lowes again because they will not stand behind their products. I did an entire home with smart core flooring 1/2 of the tiles are shiny in the other half are dull. LOWES does absolutely nothing in does not stand behind any king they sell. Close would not even send anyone out to take a look at my floor. With labor and material it cost me over 15K. Go to a flooring company and don't go to one of these Box stores. They have excuse after excuse.
Bought a washer. Deleivery was rescheduled(by lowes). The second time driver called to say they are on the way and would arrive within 30 minutes. They never showed. Got a call next day saying store had received my damaged washer. I said I knew nothing about it since no one had showed. They said it would need to be reordered and would be weeks. I decided to cancel rather than wait. Despite them agreeing they are still trying to charge me for the washer that they never delivered. Thank goodness for credit card companies so I can dispute a charge rather than let Lowes benefit from their sleaziness
I wanted to alert everyone who buys products from Lowes online store to beware of the 20% restocking fee that they mention buried further in their return policy for "special orders". This is any product that isnt sold in Lowes stores. They lost me as an online customer.
About a year and a half years ago I had my kitchen and bath remolded, by Lowe's. When they started they were great but. They had some one coming out daily checking on the progress, it just their contractors were lousy. One could not tighten my bathroom faucet i knew how to do it but this is what I was paying them to do. So on the third time of coming out they sent another guy who knew what he was doing, they also hook up my bathtub pipes were i was only getting Luke warm water. Had to call them back out for that, one of my soft close kitchen cabinet doors are crooked. Now today one of my glass shower door fell off and a piece that was glued to the bottom.My problem I had one year warranty on Labor. I know that some contractors do good work for some people but what happens when you are not that person. At first everything was fine, but now I am having issues.So i would have to think long and hard before I let Lowe's do another remoldel
Appliances delivered not once but TWICE damaged badly. We took off work twice to be there for delivery. The delivery guys were much more apologetic than Lowe's was. Lowe's did not care that they delivered 4 damaged appliances TWICE. When we went back to get our money back to go with another retailer, the girl actually shrugged her shoulder and said "it happens".
Lowes does not card about its customers time or their money. Go somewhere else to spend your hard earned money!

When ordering online Lowe's does not indicate whether the items you put into your cart are considered a special order. You only find out when you try to return them and are then subject to a 20% restocking fee! It would be very easy for Lowe's to indicate which items in your cart are special orders and are subject to the restocking fee. Instead, all you see is copy stating "Free and Easy Returns." When I asked the store supervisor how I was supposed to know that the lamps I ordered were special orders she said I should have looked to see if they could have been picked up from the store that day, if not, that meant they were special orders. What a scam, now Lowe's is trying to profit from returns! So unscrupulous, I will never shop here again!
Lowes is very family oriented and a good place to shop for home improvement needs. Most of their staff are knowledgeable of the products that they carry and if they aren't hey will direct you to someone who is. I also like the fact that they have the build and grow projects every other weeks for kids. When I purchased my house about a year ago I stayed in Lowes. Customer service is the best and everyone was eager to help. They always have some kind of promotions going on. Another thing I love is that there's a Lowes everywhere.

We went to the Richmond Indiana store to look at a few zero turn mowers before we made our decision on what to buy. After doing online research I found the one I wanted and but it was no available in the store. Which is no big deal. Just wanted to look at a few models of the same brand to get an idea of what was available. No one to be found in lawn and garden for 10 minutes. So we go look at a few other items and come back. No one around. Wait another 10 minutes. Finally find the stoner kid at the flooring desk and ask for help because we were interested in buying a mower. Puts his cell phone down and gets his radio and says customers need help. Go wait next to the mowers again. A half hour later I say f$#k it and we leave. Head to Tractor Supply down the road and have a guy out there in 2 minutes. Knows the details about numerous models. I tell him what I want and got a new mower in 20 minutes. Never again Lowe's. Lost a customer of years. And you lost a $4000 sale.
Visited the Lowe's store in plantation Florida looking for one item. I asked for service at our aisle. No one showed up. Lowes associates are like UFOs, I know they exist. I've just never ever seen one!
This store has the worst customer service. The employees are rude and impatient. They need intensive training to improve customer service from top to bottom. Management needs to be made accountable for the quality of service subordinates provide. HD Supplies and HomeDepot provide much better service for customers in this area. I filed a complaint last year when I had a similar negative experience. Waste of my time, management is still not accountable for the poor customer service. Today they hanged up on me 3 times and when I asked for the manager they did it again. Pacoima Lowe's is a disgrace to our community.
I don't know if anyone has ever done business with Lowe's but we have made our last purchase from them. We ordered a fence from them on May 28th. We signed the contract on that date. We were told the installation would be in 6 to 8 weeks. The fence was finally delivered on August 6th. It has sat in our driveway for 2 weeks now. After calls to rep who wrote the contract we still have no install date. Going into week 13 and just disgusted with the way Lowe's conducts business. Never again.
Had a refrigerator delivered last year that arrived dented. Had to take a second day off to receive the undented fridge. Then today they were supposed to deliver my new stove and they outsource the deliveries to JB Hunt who are apparently illiterate because they did not follow the delivery instructions and now we get to spend another day at home tomorrow awaiting the delivery. Very disappointed. Next time I will go a different route.
I bought online some hardwood flooring for some minor repair. The process was easy to follow and the price was actually cheaper for exact same thing then Menards or Home Depot, all of which are in my area. Notifications and updates were appreciated. Helpful employees at my local store, all in all went very well. Lately with Menards dumb mask covid policy and home depot number restrictions, Lowe's has got more of my business. I think the store experience is hit or miss like most. The online was good, not great, but good.
The delivery was so horrible. They made some holes on the wall while moving the appliances. Some particles in the refrigerator were broken. When the delivery guys said I could call them again to continue installing the washer and the dryer because they said they could not do it at the moment due to the electrical problems. After fixing the electrical problem myself, I called Lowe's again. They changed a word saying it cost $190 for the second call. The customer lady was very unfriendly. I just found out the delivery guys put the paper inside the ventilator as well. Seriously, if I did not look inside, it could cause a FIRE. It already BURNED some parts of the paper when I took it out. This is beyond just a complaint. I can't believe they actually could kill a person doing so bad work.
