Lowes does not fulfill it's commitment to elderly couple. After ordering Countertops and Lowes comfiting to installing the sink they received from Lowes, now they are saying they cannot install it. Buyer BEWARE...regardless of how much they throw Ad Money around, they did not in this case and in many others as noted online fulfill their commitment to the customer and the service they advertise. Mr Ellison still has never responded nor the Regional Manager for the store in question...perhaps Home Depot would have been the better choice! I called 7 times to find out the delivery status of an appliance I purchased, customer service used to be better than Home Depot, but now they are no different, if you could find your appliance elsewhere I would suggest you do so because this store is hopeless...
We ordered 3doors and paid over $8000 about 4months ago. They delivered finally after 3 month. But two of the doors were wrong size. So they left all the doors in our basement for anout a month. They never called us for update what is going on. We called them but they told us to wait. No reply for three days. So we cancelled everything. No appology nothing. Waiting for them to pick up wrong doors before getting refund now. Very very disappointed.
Lowes now puts the items in a locker. You need the app to open the locker. According to the Lowe's site, the app will NOT load to my cell phone. Picking up the item takes 3x as long. Must find a person, they must access the order and go the locker. Not only a waste of my time but also extremely aggravating.
Lowes people are untrained and unprofessional in store, customer support, and on line. If you can find someone in the store, or get ahold of someone at customer support on the phone, or online, trying to get help is next to impossible. If they understand your problem, they have NOT been trained to do anything, or find solutions to any problem. It's truly ridiculous. They will waste your time, put you on hold and forget about you and cost you money. Don't waste your time and $$ on this place. I'm done with them.
Went into store and ordered carpet and tile. Had person come a few days later to measure. Person seemed inabig hurry and forgot to measure one of the bathroom floors!? Huh pretty simple as we also told her where and what to measure. So they rescheduled another appt to come back and measure what should have been measured in the first place.
Ask for them to come in the morning which was agreed to then they called and changed it to the afternoon between 12:00 and 2:30 it's 5:00 and we just now get a call saying they're going to have to reschedule. So you call your customer two and a half hours after you're supposed to be there to tell him you're not going to make it?
Well we will find someone else stay away from this bunch of idiots.

The other day an employee at Chicago Brickyard Lowes yelled at me because I stood in wrong line. Complained to menager Adrian 4 times, he flatly refused to do anything. Wrote to chief director of customer relations. He wrote back that they don't do anything to employees, they only coach them. He also threaten me that our email exchange is confidential and under law repercussion I can't do anything else with it. Wow, wow. Wow, wow,. I'm still speechless. Wow
Lowes lies about delivery item... ordered two houses and got only one... they told me they delivered two... they wouldn't help me... they didn't help at all. They were just talking among themselves at the laredo local store... it was awful... incompetence... we had to call the 3rd party vendor because it was on our online order and they said they haven't even sent the house!... they said they would ship it to us... how come lowes said two were delivered. Something wrong with their inventory system or their workers are not trained to understand inventory. Its sad... please train better!
I waited over 45 minutes to buy a new clothes washer and dryer. One guy was at lunch, the other was brand new in the department and couldn't find his butt with both hands, the other guy was helping other custormers and refused to help the new guy. The new guy finally got everything entered but it was all wrong. The entire sale had to be re-entered. Lowe's needs to attend to customer service and its needs. Would not buy here again.
I ordered a washer and dryer 5 days ago, they delivered it 2 days later and the dryer was damaged. They couldn't pick it up until Wednesday, today, and now I cannot get my replacement until Friday, a WEEK LATER! After they PROMISED, no later than tomorrow. Taking off work isn't easy and losing money sucks! I will never order anything from them again! I've been on the phone and on hold for a total of 3 hours in the past 3 days. Very disappointing! I sure hope they don't send me another damaged dryer! BTW, the associate was very helpful at the store and the guys that shipped them had nothing to do with this. It was all the customer service! And timely manner! Was NOT VERY TIMELY! NO RESPECT FOR MY TIME!
I paid almost $******* for a generac generator install, all in. The installers charged me an additional $340 and the gas company $500 for necessary f/u and modifications respectfully to get the unit to operate along with my existing heat system. They lead me to believe they would compenstate me but did not. What a rippoff.
I purchased a remmington grass trimmer from lowes I tried using it several times but it got harder and harder to start finally I took it back only to be told I had to deal with remm8ngton I ended up leaving it there as it was no good to me and needed one this year, meaning by the time I went through there process my grass would be 4 feet tall. After trying to deal with someone who had no business being anybodies representative I purchased one from home depot. I have had several dealings with them including returns and should have done that in the first place
We bought a brand new refrigerator from them and it was priced reasonably. We had to wait to get the refrigerator but as soon as it came in from the Whirlpool factory they brought it over and set it up! They were considerate and careful when moving it in to set it up and did no damages to it what-so-ever! I love my regrigerator and it's working in tip top condition! Thanks Lowe's!
I I had a cashier to call for help for me I had an employee that was passing by call for help for me then I had a manager to call for help no one ever showed up it's 30 minutes now and unemployed just walked past me said oh that employee is on lunch so that's telling me no one else can cover his shift when he's out while standing here I heard four more calls for assistance in four other hours not sure if they received help this is the kind of things that makes you go to other department stores to look for what you need
Don't go to Lowe's for anything special like cutting blinds, ordering special doors can't get any help and don't even think about calling them you will be hung up on every time, The Lowe's on commonwealth Blvd in Tallahassee Fl is terrible! Ordered a door and was told several times it would be on next truck two week went by and nothing went to store and was told no door had been ordered had to get it made elsewhere two days latter Lowe's had the door in stock.
I would give them zero stars if possible. I ordered a small refrigerator. When the delivery people arrived, the main guy was angry that it was going to the basement. After much delaying, he finally said he wouldnt deliver it to the basement unless I removed the banisters from the stairs. What? I measured everything, and that was a ridiculous request. I called the store with the delivery people still here but he refused to talk to the store manager. He left the refrigerator in my entryway.
Lowes did nothing to resolve the situation. My husband and I put the fridge in the basement without any reason to remove the banisters.
I have talked to the Lowes store and corporate. All they did was say they would talk to the guy. Worst customer service ever! I will never step foot into Lowes again. In fact, I returned several other items I had purchased there and bought them at menards and Home Depot... places that value their customers.
Bought 2 appliances at Lowes. Rebate offer said I was eligible for a rebate. Lowe's sent me an email which said that all I have to do is fill in the information and send it in since I made a qualified purchase. Receipt was attached to lowe's email, Filled in paperwork, sent it in. Almost a month later get a letter that refund was rejected because I didn't buy qualifying items. I clearly did and have receipts and emails from Lowes themselves to prove it. I can " appeal" my refund case decision to Lowe's but I only have about a day to do it since deadline is September 1. Made a large purchase that offered a FREE delivery service. At purchase of the washer & dryer it was determined that items were to be placed in laundry area. Apparently Lowes uses an outside delivery service, regardless, it is Lowes responsibility to honor agreement. Items were delivered on the time provided BUT the 2 boys that delivered put items in middle of dining room & bolted out the door. For a service already paid for the customer had to pay someone else $25 to place items in proper area. $25 may seem trivial to some but on a fixed income it is a lot. Lowes offered a 10% off discount on next purchase, UNACCEPTABLE! Would have to spend an additional $250 just to recover. Fixed incomes don't allow this & if put on credit card the $25 would be gone in a flash in interest. Poor business practices on Lowes part. In short, BEWARE OF THE "FREE" word. BOO FOR LOWES!
I went to lowe's to purchase an air compressor that was supposed to be on sale for$159 and the cashier went straight to scanning the code off from the box instead of the sales price and denied the sale price and i got cheated,scammed and ripped off of $204 needlessly and from now on i will only use self checkout and stay away from cashiers.
