I will not be booking with love holiday again. I searched for a holiday for my family which was perfect, as my time ran out to book I then clicked the 'more time' button which then unknown to me kicked my children off the booking (I only noticed after I had booked). I rang up twice and was told that noone could help me, I had to sort it online and talk to the automated chat box. I asked if there was a human that I could speak to and was told no. Within an hour of booking I tried to cancel and the cancellation fee was £300 which seems ridiculous. If there was a help line number with real people to speak to then I could just add my kids onto the booking. But with love holiday it isn't that simple!
I haven't even gone on the holiday yet but already severely disappointed. I might even take this to my credit card company and travel ombudsman. Booked yesterday and thinking of cancelling. Booked Aska Lara (one of the more pricier holidays) and they advertised room is the double/twin. Photos shown are the ones in the main building. But after paying money, the hotel voucher states Anex room, which is across the street from the hotel! And from guest reviews and pictures, is quite a downgrade and is guest say smell of sewage! Its been impossible to get to customer service because their sales line does not deal with this and their customer service is a chat bot, where you will be placed for hold forever for online chat or get disconnected if you call. DO NOT BOOK WITH LOVEHOLIDAYS! You don't want to deal with this stress before even leaving on holiday! No where do they say that the room is in the Anex. I even called to book the holiday and they never make you understand that its not in the main building. Guests complain that rooms are very dirty and dogs barking. Smells terrible and far away from the actual resort! Again, no where on the actual booking page does it say that this is an Anex room you are booking! There are many other guests who have been duped by the same before unfortunately!
Had a terrible experience when tried to change a date of travel, they certainly do NOT make it easy to contact them to discuss, payed way over the odds for same holiday that i could have booked myself. Brutal customer service. Never will use again. Would chose no stars of i could.
Just returned from a week in Venice, we paid £107.11 for direct transfer.However when we arrived the taxi man was there and took us to a town where he said we needed to buy tickets for the boat bus to take us to Venice! It took us quite some time to find the correct bus. We then arrived at San Marco with no idea where our hotel was. After walking for quite some time eventually fan English man looked it up on google, thanks to home we found our hotel feeling shattered.
After a few days there we discovered we could have got a bus boat directly from airport for 38 euros! Feel very agree with what Love holidays put us through. (We're in our 70s)
I have tried to contact Love Holidays without success so just wanted to WARN anyone about this company!

I was seeking advice for my first booking with the company, but unfortunately, Lucey's communication skills were extremely poor and almost argumentative.

A member of our party had an email about flight time changes and contacted loveholidays and had a refund of £182.35 for a party of 3.I did not receive the email I contacted loveholidays tru chat they changed my flight times and I mentioned the refund I got a answer NOTED 4 chats later still no partial refund you can not speak to a human it's chat only and its to easy to fob you off AVOID AVOID AVOID...
Book a holiday with them to Dominican Republic, they didn't add luggage, insurance and transfers to our booking.
When I found out, a month before the holiday, trying to contact them ( which is very hard), talk with them about our problem, the answer was: we have to pay extra for luggage, insurance and transfers!
Our holiday costs 6000 euros for a week.
In the end, we have to call Aer Lingus for the luggage, An Insurance company and find a way to go to the hotel.

They only want your money! Once you book you can not talk with anyone! You can leave messages online and they will reply 8-10 days later maybe and that will come with an extra charge of hundreds of pounds. They have ridiculous terms and conditions which make it impossible to get your hard earn money back!
This was an inexpensive, out of season break to Crete with Love Holidays.
Nothing was as described in the details. No pool, no hotel bar, no transport upon arrival... But, if you call Love Holidays, their response it that they can't help once your holiday has begun!

The transfer service never arrived and again love holidays was not available to help as it seems like they also have an imagery customer service number. Once you place a booking from a certain number you cannot contact love holidays from that number and the auto mated service is rubbish and frustrating.
Anyone considering to use these guys... look at the same deal on TRAVEL REPUBLIC or ON THE BEACH, you might have to pay like £20-£30 more but trust me for the stress and headache love holiday provided its a small price.

My friend booked for 4 of us to go to New York on may 1st 2023...An absolute bucket list moment.
Sadly 4 weeks ago the mum and nan of the parties going became end of life with Pneumonia on top of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
As a family we have all been dragged through such an emotional rollercoaster after being told it wasn't looking good and to come and say our goodbyes at at least 3 occasions.
Sadly the decision was made that family members who were going would take over care.
We were unable to contact customer services by phone and could only deal with online.
Several times the situation was exlained and asked for alternative dates asked if others could take over holiday to no avail.
We asked if another named passenger could take over lead passenger name because as the time got nearer lead name could not deal with the stress. A representative told us this would cost an admin fee of £75 what a total disgrace. Another advisor said hope you mum feels better soon. Absolutely disgusting. The last representative told us that on no occasion had this unfortunate event been noted on this booking

Booked a large package holiday had to do it with advisor he got 2 passengers name wrong which was informed to him straight away. Know its become impossible to contact them and if you do chat to customer service they never solve your issue. This is still ongoing and to make matters worse the flight had been reschedule so you have to go back to loveholidays to confirm or give you a alternative as usual you can't get to the right team to deal with this. This has spoilt our holiday and put me under a lot of stress a very bad company to deal with which has no customer service. I regret going to this company and my recommendation to stay away from this company if you don't want to spoil your holiday.

We have had so many problems trying to resolve our concerns regarding our upcoming trip to New York. This booking was meant to be a celebration of a special occasion, and it's turning into a nightmare. Their complete lack of ownership and limited access to speak to an advisor now that the booking has been made is appalling.
The worst holiday travel agents I had the "pleasure" to deal with. I cannot find my words to express how angry I am.
We booked a holiday back in August last year for May this year. For reasons out of our control we cannot go on holiday anymore this year, so I tried to see what can be done to cancel or change the dates for next year. On their website, on the manage my booking page you have the option to change the passengers. We have a couple that wanted to go instead of us so I contacted Loveholidays to do just that. After a week of long daily chats with the agents they finally managed to call me and the other couple to confirm that we want to do the swap.
When I thought that it's all done, I was told by the last agent I spoke with that I need to contact the airline company next to do the change with them as well, no one told us anything about that until then.
Surprise, the airline company Sun Express don't do passenger change…so when I called Love holidays agents again, they said sorry, but some airline companies don't' change passenger details.
I tried to change the dates next, but the airline company said they can only do this September, as they don't have the next year flights planned yet.
So the only thing left for me was to cancel the holiday…paid £1900 and should get a refund from Loveholiday of £71 and the tax from the Sunexpress of 217 euros
So I paid almost £1700 for nothing…
I've not used a 3rd party holiday site in the past, and based on this my first experience, will never do so again. Be warned. It will only end in tears and endless phone calls, passing the buck customer service and just plain ineffective advice if things go even partially wrong. You're on your own and just imagine adding kids into this equation when they loose bookings, bags, being stranded etc.
Don't use awful company paid holday in full and still getting text for payment been on the phone for last 3 weeks trying to sort it still haven't got any were they lie and say its sorted and it's not commutation terrible and still trying to speak to someone even been cut of if I got to speak to someone been on phone over 2 hours this morning and they won't answer it
I' ve done booking in 2 January with my daughter in same time, she payed 1600£ per 3 persons and me and my husband payed 2000 for same holiday, boked in same time! I have just had the misfortune to deal with Loveholidays in asking for a refund due to Ryanair cancelling my flights. They have charged me over 50% of the overall holiday costs when it wasn't my fault for the cancellation. There is no option to discuss or reason with these people. NEVER book anymore with Loveholidays! Never, I bought a holiday which price was on discount from 1550£ to 1003£! In the end they taked 1550£! 2nd day some my friend bought same holiday with 1111£ same flight and same hotel! Disgusting! No customer service at all!
