I bought 2 straighten mini brushes from the site and they just shipped one. I sent them the photos of package and label. The lady told me that they did ship two and my family member took it. The weight on the label shows 1.11lb, the lady still insists there is 2 packs of brush inside. She said it's 1 pound 11 ounce, really concern about her mathematics skill. If you use have any product damage or irritation, the customer service will blame you first, every thing is your fault. Good luck.
I'd give them a negative rating if possible. If your product fails, even within warranty, you might as well throw it away. They don't answer their phone or emails, and don't process their warranty claims either. I've never dealt with a company like this so beware if you dare to spend around $200 on a hair dryer with them. If it fails, you're stuck with a piece of garbage. Buyer Beware :(
I made an order from abroad and was excited to come back home and try you products after hearing great things from my sister. I paid 100$ for shampoo and hair mask.
I tried the shampoo and mask twice, and by day 2 my hair was super oily and greasy to the point I have to shower and cannot be seen outside. I was so disappointed and decided to reach out to their customer care. It turns out they don't have one. Their phone is offline and they can only be reached out by mail. They answered my email after 2 weeks. Needless to say I will NEVER order from them again. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. How can you charge 60$ for shampoo but you can't afford customer support?!
It has been now two weeks since the order was returned back to Amika after issue of RMA #. Since that, I have sent multiple email reminders to *******@loveamika.com with ZERO response.
Their phone support is non-existing.
So Amika stole from me $100. I am considering raising this issue with my credit card company.

If there was a 0 I would give them that! Bought a straightening brush & within a few months & only a handful of uses it quit working. I spent more on this than I've ever spent on any stying appliance. The customer service is the worst! They don't ever return emails & I tried a "Chat" there was no answer either. There's supposed to be a 1 year warranty but it's kind of hard to honor that when they won't get back to you! This company DOES NOT stand behind their products so I advise people to avoid purchasing any products from them!
I returned my items 06/26/20 in the amount of $121.60 via FedEx, with shipping receipt and still haven't received my refund. Since they don't pick up their customer service phone, I left voicemails with no return calls and an email to their contact on their website. Huge warning if you purchase from this company, I am totally frustrated and will not order their products again. Will give a order # once again if this helps
I am very dissatisfied with my experience with customer service. Amika promises 2-6 days free shipping for orders over $35 without mentioning it takes 5-7 days to process your order. It is very misleading, and I spent over $100 on products and am still waiting on them after nearly two weeks. I could have bought them elsewhere and received them in a timely matter. I am mostly disappointed in how misleading it is. If you promise 2-6 days free shipping, then I should receive it in 2-6 days, not 14+ days.
Ok, to start I love this product! However if you need it in a timely manner plan on contacting them right after you place the order then remind them again to ship it. My husband bought me some shampoo for Christmas and he called weeks after placing the order to find out it hadn't shipped. Appears to have been forgotten but getting a straight answer isn't possible. We dismissed that as a fluke. On Dec 30 I decided to order a few more things. Jan 7th I noticed it had not shipped yet. So I went to their site to use the track order function where it told me the order didn't exist, however I got an email confirmation of the order. I contacted customer service and they informed me the server is having issues but it shipped and provided me tracking. I find it way too coincidental that the order shipped the same day I asked about it. So the only 2 orders we ever placed both somehow were forgotten? I don't know but it really seems strange. What is going on it their shipping department?
I've got a couple of their items, most notably their dry shampoo and hair spray. Both work well for me. I have a very dry scalp, but their dry shampoo works; it is very soft and doesn't make my head itch. Their hair spray has good hold and even distribution on my ton of very fine hair.
Bleh! Don't ever buy anything on a Monday or Friday and don't ever buy anything during a site wide sale.
I only say this because they don't have anyone working their warehouse on weekends (it sounds like they only pack 3 days a week)
My large order took a week to even PACK!
It's 2021, there is absolutely no reason it should take a week after confirming an order for it to be finally packed.
Then it takes a whole 5 days to arrive AFTER it's packed.
Almost 2 weeks for hair products.
Don't rely on this company for timely shipping.
Super unfortunate.
They also said they had too many orders because of their sale... uhhh ok!
They fed me the same thing each time.
"It'll be packed tomorrow at latest" each day.
Just go buy it else where if you have that luxury because this is insane...
I was given a sample of Amika shampoo for bonding/repairing hair and I love it. It does NOT leave my hair greasy and the aroma of the shampoo is pleasurable! Looking for a place to purchase the actual product in big container.
I bought an Amika brush hairdryer 6 months ago and it broke while I was traveling. I bought a new hairdryer and when I returned home I tried to get get my money back for the hairdryer. I bought it at Sephora and they wouldn't give my money back or exchange it and said I had to contact Amika. Amika will only give me a new one but I already bought one when it broke. I will never buy an Amika product again. Junk and their customer service stinks!
We always have Amika Blockade Heat Protectant & leave in conditioner/detangling spray on hand in our house. 2 must have products for a house with girls. The products are light and don't leave a residue. Scents are pleasant & quality is that you would find in a high end salon. Long hair is no issue with the leave in condition/detangling spray.

On s21st Dec 22 bought iRED Flash Fix | Tangerine Dream ( Order No - *******) from the Singapore website. I am writing this review on 28th Dec and still haven't received any communication on the shipment dates. Have emailed them a couple of times but no response still.
Called up the Singapore office and they are unable to help, since the ecommerce is managed by there Hong Kong office. Make me wonder what kind of a company is this.
Given, this experience, i didn't want to deal with them, but i am unable to even cancel my order, since they aren't sending me the cancellation link.
The only good thing Amika is the packaging. Product was well below satisfactory and customer service even worse. Will never purchase from this company again.
Decent hair tools but God forbid they break and you have to submit a warranty claim. They require payment for the replacement tool in advance in order for the warranty claim to be processed and then you'll wait WEEKS for answers as to if a new tool has been shipped or even to inquire about the status of your claim.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Order anything else from anywhere else. I ordered 2 weeks ago and my order still hasn't been shipped with no response from company. They were quick to charge my card though.
From a famous beauty guru and others i watch on ig they always use this brand for thin hair and so i tried it and let me say ive ditched all other hair products and use this brand more often

I had been using a drugstore shampoo because it was a cheaper option, and I figured all shampoos did the same thing. After scrolling through TikTok, I came across a girl talking about hair struggles. She then recommended using Amika shampoo. She used other products by Amika to help with the frizz, and to help maintain a healthy hair routine. I know that Amika is a more expensive brand, so I was nervous to be spending so much money for something that may not help me. I didn't want to waste my money, so I looked more into what will help my hair type. I ended up purchasing the Amika 3D Volume and Thickening Shampoo. I used it that night, it smelled amazing! I shampooed it twice, and let it air dry. My hair was silky soft, and I have been able to go four days without having to wash my hair. The frizz has gone down a lot, and my hair feels healthy. Ever since I started using this shampoo, my hair has become thicker, and has more volume. I have bought more Amika products over time to have healthy hair. My hair routine is amazing, and I don't have to wash my hair as often. When I start to notice it looking dirty I spray some dry shampoo in it, and can go more days without having to wash it. Once I finally wash my hair it feels so refreshing. My hair doesn't feel weighed down, or have a waxy feel. My hair is super soft, and feels like silk. Since this isn't a drugstore product, you can't find it at a local Walgreens. The best places you will be able to find it would be Sephora or any hair salon. I recommend purchasing it online on Amazon, loveamika.com, or Sephora. The stores don't always have what you're looking for, but online will. If you are struggling with what products you may want to purchase, they have a hair quiz on their website. When you take the quiz, they give you a hair routine, or if you just want a shampoo they offer that as well. It is super helpful, and you are getting the best results for your hair type!
