Very disappointed about lostmydoggie.com!
I purchased the Amber Alert for my new neighbour who lost her precious doggy July 2,2022.
Yesterday some people found doggy in creek. He passed away and we all heartbroken!
I contacted Lostmydoggie by email and asked for refund. The denied and didn't give my money back.
The really DONT CARE ABOUT OUR PETS AND THE ARE EXTREMELY GREEDY AND HEARTLESS PEOPLE!
Never going to recommend them to anyone
We lost our poodle Friday around 2:30. After about 8 hours of searching and desperate I went online and typed "I lost my dog" this website popped up. I decided to give it a try and thought for sure this is a scam but I had nothing to lose, I filed out the form, sent the picture... It was so simple. The very next day I received a phone call from a lady stating that she thinks she might have fluffy and that she saw the flyer at the animal clinic they had taken him to see if he had a chip on him. Long story short fluffy is home! Thanks to this site!
When our indoor cat got outside and was lost, we initially tried the FREE "LostMyKitty" services with flyers and shelter notifications, however, after 3 days there was no success. At that point we were in a panic and decided to go to the next step whereby pre-recorded phone calls were made to the closest 250 (or more) neighbors. Within 2 hours of the initiation of that service, my wife got a call from a neighbor about one half mile away that said she was looking out her window at a cat that matched our description in a heavily landscaped area near a fence. My wife then got into the car and went to the area and tracked our cat down in the landscaped area.
Since indoor cats are not prone to find their own way home since they are scared and disoriented, I feel that we are extremely lucky to have gotten our pet back and I attribute most of the successful outcome to the service provided by "LostMyKitty.com". Thank you.
My lost doggie Damon is home safe thanks in part to lost my doggie. Com. They're rescue ads and pet alerts were instrumental in Damon's recovery. I received many phone calls with many sightings. If you love your pet it's a small price to pay to get him or her back home, This does work. Thanks again Tom & Damon
Did not help at all trying to locate my lost cat. Expressions of sympathy from people... from my zip code,
Town... website gave me no clue. No clue what shelters they "contact". None named.
I received a call from a friendly gentleman in the area who was nice enough to call me to report he had a dog like mine. He sent a video allowing me to confirm it was CoCo, my family and I are so grateful for his safe return. Thanks lostmydoggie.com this would not have been possible without your help. CoCo was not wearing his tag with his chip ID, we thought he was gone forever.
A lady was walking her 2 dogs in a park. Her dogs then found Rocky huddled between some bushes. The lady picked him up & took him home. She called our home phone number yesterday & this morning. My husband answered & they spoke briefly. I am deaf & wear cochlear implants. My son went with my husband to meet the lady. It was really Rocky! When our dog finally came home to greet me & our youngest son... what a joyful & tearful reunion! With laughter & lots of hugs & kisses. Already made an appointment with our vet to have a micro chip implanted TOMORROW (11/09/2014).:-)
LostMyDoggie.com was the reason our dog was found! The fax and email "animal alerts" are amazing, especially since my dog was lost while he was out of town. I never would have been able to get notices to all the pet businesses and vets in the area so quickly. A vet recognized a dog the local Police Department brought in from one of those alerts and called me. It was a miracle! Thank you!
We found Violet with the help of your online postings and great flyers! We posted them all over the neighborhood in concentric circles within about a mile of our home- especially at intersections and outside the grocery store and Trader Joes! They were seen and the people who found her contacted us! Violet is safely home now and we are overjoyed! Thank you!
Thank you to "lost my doggie". Our dog was found within 2 hours of using this service. Their response was immediate and the faxes and emails they sent out to area shelters and vets did the trick! We are so thankful to have our Mia home safe and sound!
I found my German shepherd after 3 long days with the help of lostmydoggie! I would highly recommend them, and using the 1250 amber alert option. As soon as the alert went out, 3 people called me stating where they saw him. I was going out of my mind because I am disabled and he is my lifeline. I would never have gotten my boy back without the help of lostmydoggie. I hope nobody ever experiences what I endured, but if you do, please use them! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You saved my life lostmydoggie!
I had no idea that this service existed until I lost my dear cat Oscar and started searching the internet for help reaching a broad audience.
I handed out the flyers I created on their site (free of charge) in the neighborhood and one of my neighbors spotted the cat four days later. He did not have my number as he had thrown out the flier so he called a local vet who had one of their flyers that had been emailed to them from the site hanging in the window. He got the number, called me and now I have Oscar back.
I am so thankful for your services. Very much appreciated.
We just found our cat after 1 week and 2 days. We had just moved to this neighborhood so it was unfamiliar to our cat and we could not have done it without this website. We followed all of their instructions and printed out the flyers. We are going to sign up here to help others find their lost pets. Don't give up hope! This really works!
Sincerely,
Fiona Wilson
Our 10 year old recently rescued Pomeranian named Scrappy got out on Friday, we were able to locate him Sunday morning! This site was a great help in getting us reunited with our little guy! Words can't explain how grateful we are! Our family is now again complete!
While Lost My Doggie was not directly instrumental in finding our lost cat, having the availability of social networking is very valuable at a time like this.
Newspapers charge too much for an ad; and most people turn to the internet.
I did get some responses from my internet ads, so, we know people are reading the web.
Please keep up the good work!
I just received a call from a shelter in new freedom, pa. (15 miles away) that
They had emma and she is waiting anxiously for me to pick her up.
lostmydoggie.com did it's job well. Thank you very much.
I would like to thank lostmydoggie for helping me find my lost dog. She was recently picked up by a good Samaritan and turned into our local animal shelter where see was scanned for her microchip which eventually led us back together. Thanks too everyone for their generosity throughout this process.
Contacted lost doggie.com and had my dog back within 18 hours. WOW! Still getting calls from concerned neighbors. Response was beyond my expectations. Would recommend to anyone!
Great job folks and thanks

It was great to know so many of my neighbors got the word about my lost cat, Milo. Luckily, he came home on his own, but if he'd been gone longer, I know there were folks looking out for him all over.
This is an outstanding service! For a nominal fee, we were pleased with the range of assistance received. They immediately faxed, emailed and called residents & pet businesses we otherwise could not contact, which was an extreme benefit due to the fact our dog was lost 30 miles away from home. I highly recommend you enlist them in your pet recovery process.
Answer: They have free services and priced packages by tier. We paid $150 for their biggest package.
Answer: The pricing tier that you choose determines how many people are contacted: the higher the price, the more people are contacted. When you sign up your missing pet, you enter in the last seen address. I believe the Amber alert starts with that general area and works it's way out.
Answer: They send you email with all the people they contact.
Answer: They posted to vets, nearby businesses and so many lost pet websites. Saved me so much time and it was quick and they created fliers. They also sent me the list to prove it, which I verified some. They also were in touch with me and sent photos when a dog matched my description. I can't say enough about them... they rock!
Answer: Company emailed & called to let me know she was possible located. Gave me the finders info, I called the person who found her and we met up!
Answer: Great because we have less neighbors nearby so the area covered is greater due to starting nearby and spreading out until they contact the number requested. Populated cities will have smaller radius for same number of amber alerts.
Answer: I paid the finder personally using their cash app once my pet was found. I'm sure other payment methods are ok. That's the one we agreed on.
Answer: I don't know the answer if it is part of PETA or not.
