This thing doesn't "teach" anything, its trash used to waste your time. Think of being on your phone all day, and then think of doing I-ready. Same thing. You learn nothing, except maybe you can gain some information on your phone. KKK leader, John White

I-Ready
May 16, 2022

I ready is way too expensive and is way too hard I am a student who uses it and my scores have gone down or stayed the same as they were it has been proven that it does not help kids improve their scores.

Piece of CRAP
October 28, 2023
Updated review

Literally useless. Not even effective, still get $#*!e grades. In fact, my grades got worse after all my attention got directed to this piece of garbage. Want to jump off cliff. And the teacher posts homework in person and on I-ready. Would rather die.

You should never download I Ready because of the atrocious, and downright diabolical. If you let your child use this website you are the worst parent to ever exist. During one of my child's I Ready lessons the website said a racial slur such as the n-word and calling him a beaner. Also it called him homosexual and gay, and showed him pictures of private parts. All around I Ready is a horrible website that needs to get shut down ASAP.

I-ready lessons are just like insanity, doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. They kill me from the inside and makes me want to jump off a 5 story building for fun. My physical strength has been wasted listening to dad jokes from the 1800, and my mental strength is ruined because its literally made me INSANE.

I have used i-Ready for MANY years and have never once said that it brings me joy in any way. This is a waste of time and should never be used for children unless you want to use it to torture kids, why Is this website so bad? Well, first, it takes an absurd amount of time just to get through the diagnostic, No matter how many times they say for you to NOT rush, kids still end up rushing through the thing every. Single. Time. Because of the format, disgusting color pallet, and the brain rot-inducing "mini-games" they give you a very short break just for maybe a minute. After that, they give you lessons based on what you have instead of helping the child in the subject they are weak in. The lessons don't teach you anything new, or even the slightest bit helpful for the school year. Please, schools all around America, do you even care for your students? Teachers act like this app is "helpful" and a "good" choice for kids, which is the total opposite. Just ban the app altogether at this point.

Grading
February 6, 2023

As a student, my state requires every student to do this bull$#*!. When you get an assignment wrong, it wants you to do it again. It gets very frustrating and upsetting, making me guess the next time, they have been fully aware of this for a long time, but there is no change.

I Ready is something we are all forced to do 50 minutes a week. It gives us extra work to do and makes all of us take time out of our free time to do it. If we don't, it's a grade. However, I Ready does not help. It's almost like they are trying to make it as slow, boring, and tedious as possible. I would not recommend it and hope we never have to use this horrible website again. The diagnostics are horrible too.

I-ready causes stress in my students and makes them feel overwhelmed. Their lessons take soooooo long to complete, and if you fail a lesson, you get the pleasure of starting all over again. My students have been slamming their headsets on the desk with how frustrating i-ready can be. And it's not like i-Ready rewards are good either. You have to complete 6 lessons to play one game that is boring and frustrating. And if your Chromebook turns off while you're playing, It'll waste all your coins! I think i-Ready should be removed or updated. Because the way i-ready has been going is very stressful and time-consuming.

I ready is dumb
May 24, 2024

It said that writing 0.5 is wrong, you have to write 1/2. And apparently the best way to do long division is to give the most confusing instructions possible. And if you fail the lesson, you redo it one more time, and if you fail it again, you just never get taught, you skip it.

When i see i ready, i think of jumping off a cliff. As a 5th grader, i have to do 2 per week and 45 minutes on math and reading. I thought i was past the nightmare phase, but no i ready brought it back. I bet the creators of this app were nerds in school who graduated from ohio school of first degree murder at the age of 69. The lessons take about 69 years long and i have to stay in class from touching grass until i finish my i ready lessons. If you want to be miserable get this app! The creators of this "learning website" will make a game called sunny and boo learn to share i know that for a fact. This website gives me suicidal thoughts

Terrible consistency
October 28, 2023

The exercises are so inconsistent. The way they explain certain words "with the sounds" does not match other words with the same phonetics, doesn't allow students to retake a quiz and just score them poorly.

IReady is one of the worst math/ELA programs I have ever seen. It goes through a whole explanation that takes 5 minutes if you get a question wrong. It goes through a slightly shorter explanation if you get it right. The characters are annoying and it has uninteresting stories and it phrases questions weird. The diagnostics are inaccurate, and take forever. It doesn't even tell you if you got a question right on the diagnostic. I would give 0 stars if I could. I recommend IXL, which is way better.

Horrible/ waste of time
November 17, 2021

This is so bad, in school after doing your math work our teacher would tell us to get on this thing called Iready. And I never really liked but just said whatever to it and kept on going. Every time I went on this I just want to yank the computer out of the room if I failed the quiz. I hated it. My friends would feel mad every time they do not pass either and our teachers on top of that told us to do at least 40 minutes a day! This sucked and one did this either plus it didn't teach any thing you will use in class either so I
Do NOT advise to any teachers!

I-ready is the most stupid website to be created. Teachers force us to spend hours on a few problems that will not even benefit us. It makes us tired and very unmotivated. I give i ready a 0/10 rating.

Don't use
January 18, 2024

Not very helpful and a waste of time. The lessons take forever and you have to restart the whole lesson and reading if you fail a couple of questions. I do not recommend teachers to use this platform. The color choices used for the tests hurt my eyes.

This is the worst appliance i have ever seen the amount of spelling mistakes in this is program is insane if your trying to teach people make the words be spelled right not to mention that the diagnostics are the longest most boring assessment ever and now its giving out growth checks which will reset and sometimes it will repeat its self randomly. In math you will do a lesson complete it and then a few days later it pops up again. You'll be doing a math lesson and it will say your answer is wrong then say that the answer you put is right. The graphics to this thing are so bad and based on the amount of money we pay for this plan we should not use this if you see a petition to get rid of iready sign it.
