Absolute poo poo
September 27, 2023

This thing is absolutely useless, and there are much better materials out there that can replace this crap. Instead of having students waste hours doing the diagnostic, we should get a more time efficient diagnostic than this. That way students will actually do it, instead of rushing through the entire damn diagnostic to end this hell of a torture.

This sucks
April 18, 2023

Worst app ever. I have been doing 3rd-grade math when I already know how to do eighth-grade-level math, and there are so many errors. It does not help at all. Even my own teacher said it does not teach you anything. Please shut this app down.

The voice acting sucked, everyone sounded like a screeching monkey. And overall it doesn't help you learn very well since you spend half the time listening to their dumb characters trying to be funny by making bad puns and dad jokes. Also with diagnostics you have to listen to the dumb tutorial every time you take it, and the diagnostics are not very efficient for testing. I would suggest looking for a different learning platform if your a teacher or school administrator since this platform sucks.

Not worth your time
November 14, 2022

This site is boring and it takes forever to do even one lesson, as a student, I dont have much credibility and maybe its just me, but this site makes learning math the worst, same for english, not to mention if you get a passing grade, it still makes you retake the lesson from the very beginning sometimes. Math and english are 2 of my favorite subjects and this site makes it impossible to learn either and is making my grades worse because i don't have enough time to do them, not to mention, the audio and voices are terrible and give me a headache, you cant mute the site and there's no way to stop most of the audio and you have to sit through the long videos in between. I don't know much about the business and who is in charge, but they could at least get better microphones, and the voices sound so forced and and sometimes are distorted. 1/5 would ot use for personal education, infact, i wouldn't want to teach other students using this website

IREADY SUCKS
March 11, 2024
Updated review

Iready is undoubtedly the worst app on earth, capable of causing immense harm to individuals, particularly in terms of mental health. This insidious program preys on vulnerable students, pushing them to their breaking point with its relentless boring demands and unrealistic expectations. By constantly bombarding users with ineffective exercises and tedious assessments, Iready fosters feelings of inadequacy and despair, driving many to the brink of depression and even suicide. Its toxic blend of pressure, boredom and incompetence creates a toxic environment that erodes self-esteem and mental well-being, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. In conclusion, Iready is not just a subpar educational tool, but a dangerous force that has the potential to destroy lives.

IREADY SUCKS
January 18, 2024
Previous review

IREADY IS THE ABSOLUTE MOST ATROCIOUS THING I HAVE EVER SEEN OR USED. Any possible way to get rid of this is a good way. This app causes depression in children and depression can lead to suicide. Please burn this app then burn it again then send it to space and nuke it then make sure there are no excess pieces of the ash by Nuking it ten more times.

For whoever reads this, I am a 7th grader. I'll start with the characters. They are dry and talk the whole time, and when you get a question they force you to listen to them read it. I understand for kids in younger elementary (1-4) but truly not everyone needs them to read it, and i think there should be an option to turn that off. This is not out of pure hatred for my teachers, but instead for the poor work in the program. Also according to the review i added in photos, apparently an 11 year old fainted from this brain cell destroyer. I would too. I seriously think this is a problem if its true. Many children feel as if they want to commit suicide, which is an issue in itself. Whenever I'm out of school, i hope the next generations don't have to deal with I-Ready. (edit)

Iready sucks! I am a student and I am REQUIRED to pass two lessons and get an additional 45 minutes a week for each subject and it doesn't help whatsoever. It's bad for your eyes to be staring at a screen for over an hour! These stupid, useless lessons take forever and it's annoying. Only one of every lesson I have ever done for the past 5 years has only helped me once and that was on dividing fractions. It causes me mental breakdowns, and frustration, and it gives me headaches. Why are you not reconsidering taking this STUPID app down? I am going to fail because of all of the lies it tells me and it's hard! I am once again a student who suffers from all of the stupid details about this stupid app!

I-Ready is terrible!
April 18, 2023

I-ready is a terrible website that does not help kids learn in any way. The diagnostics that you must take to find your level are very inaccurate as well. Several people dislike I-Ready because of the multiple assignment they have on it as well as the fact that each lesson takes a VERY long time. There can also be some interesting choices of character voices that sound like a creepy doll in your head. It is not helpful in any way for anyone. Even the teachers must put in your I-Ready grades and who wants to do that? I do not recommend this site for anyone.

I ready takes so long each question because it tries to read all the words on screen at the speed of smell to someone with their volume muted, then, if you get a question wrong because all the answers are basically the same, you have to "find your clue" which is so useless as the clues don't even help, I hate this site that I have to spend hours on each week so my parents don't beat my $#*! for low grades.

I-Ready drains you.
December 13, 2023

I hate I-Ready, and its too bad that a site such as this is REQUIRED in some schools like mine and also it counts in your grade. It is time consuming and takes almost half of a period to finish one lesson. This causes stress because you have to get through the first part, which is overall a waste of class time. I-Ready is constant at my school, they just put you on computers all the time. Diagnostic is to be taken serious sadly because they will put you in classes you do not want. My school wants us to do I-Ready so bad that they promise pizza parties. I-Ready leaves you drained, tired and annoyed because all you did was sit in a chair, bring out your computer, just clicking and moving your mouse on a website that was created by a man who was probably bullied a lot and wants to see little children and teens be glued to a screen for damn near half of a period. I-Really hope i find you Mike Johnson.

I-ready is a corrupt website that makes kids burnout and ruins their motivation for any other schooling. The lessons are way too long, and if you fail a quiz, you ´ ll be forced to re-take the lesson all over again. The progress it makes after you answer a question is horrible on the math lessons. I feel as though this is not an efficient way to help kids learn, if anything, it worsens their learning. There must be another option for learning websites?

TORTURE
March 6, 2024

I hate iready because its so boring I would honestly rather go run 4 miles than do this I wish I could give this a zero star rating but that's not an option. Instead of our teachers just teaching us about math formulas we didn't know we are forced to do this boring repetitive app that asks us the same question 30 times in a row. If iready would randomly just shut down and delete itself I guarantee you that you would make students so happy you might even make the news you should try it, but no your having to much fun torturing us kids with sitting at a desk for an hour switching periods only to sit at a different desk for an hour doing the same thing. Mindlessly answering iready questions at this point Tik Tok teaches you more than this app. -374.34 stars.

Terrible app many flaws.
February 14, 2022

I am in 6th grade I have been doing I ready for a while. I have noticed many flaws starting with lessons. The instructions some lessons give are not clear at all and can cause people to mess up or get the question wrong. My classmates also agree that I ready is not a very good learning program. Next, I ready usually has a lesson with 2 parts. Say you get every question right on the first part but only get half the questions right on the next part of the lesson well it makes you start the whole lesson all over if you do that. I ready will make you redo the questions you got right. This can be very irritating because some lessons can take about an hour. Overall this isn't a very good learning program and there are better ones out there.

I hate this app!
July 21, 2023

I really don't like IReady! It is useless and more times than not, just leaves you more confused than you were before. It only helped me once. Once! Plus, deadlines and all of that are so annoying, especially if you fail the lesson. You have to restart the practice and everything, and it just wastes your time. I don't know why teachers think this helps one bit. Anyways, after all this ranting, just don't use it! Everyone hates it, especially students who want to learn and not waste time doing stupid lessons.

BORING and NOT USEFUL
October 2, 2023

I have to say that I am not a fan of Iready at all. It is such a boring and tedious program that I dread having to use it every time. There are so many other more engaging and interesting ways to learn, but unfortunately, Iready is not one of them.

The interface is so dull and unappealing, and the lessons themselves are often dry and lacking in excitement. It's no wonder that so many students find it difficult to stay engaged and interested in their studies when they have to use Iready.

What's more, the program seems to be more concerned with testing and measuring progress than actually teaching students anything useful. It feels like a waste of time and energy to have to sit through endless assessments and drills that don't really seem to be helping me learn anything new or useful.

Overall, I would definitely say that Iready is a bad program that should be avoided if possible. There are just so many better ways to learn and grow as a student, and Iready is not one of them.

IT is so bad
April 29, 2024

I ready makes me want to pull my hair and the instruction is so long and the quiz has nothing to do with it. And our teachers just throw us on i ready so they don't have to teach. It made me do the lesson like 5 times. Also i don't think 8th graders need i-ready the teachers just don't want to teach.

Great job i-ready -_-
December 8, 2023

At this point you already know what this is gonna be about. I-ready is nominated for the best award for causing stress for middle school students (and others). And its so strong it makes you just want to throw your computer. Its obvious! First you have the lessons of course. Ah, we sure love to take our precious time listening to almost an HOUR OF THE INTRO. Also, the darn-diddly-doo grading is what pisses me off. 2 wrong? Good try my friend! YOU GET A FREAKING 67%! Ohhhh let me see you got 3 wrong? TAKE THIS 54% WILL YA!? Like why.? ಥ_ಥ

It is soo bad
May 31, 2024

As a student this might be biast but I think IREADY is bad for good reasons. It gives you under your grade level just because of one question wrong. Oh I forgot to mention that one just ONE question wrong on the lessons sets you back to a 73. I know we get bad grades but really all we did was one question wrong. The diagnostics are extremely long some times take 2 weeks of school to finish. Also I'm in 5th grade I'm getting simple lessons for math and some of my other class mates still have plory and yoop the goofy ahhh alien quote on quote teachers. 2 goofy ahh aliens ain't gonna teach 5th graders. Overall don't get IREADY lets get it banned from schools.

HORRIBLE
May 15, 2023

The lessons are very long and tiring, give multiple lessons on the same subject even though I've already passed the subject, diagnostic is basically another state test, and it's just busy work that I've learned nothing from. All my progress has been from my actual teachers that can give actual lessons. In conclusion, I hate this more than any other app I have to do.

I-Ready Stinks
November 15, 2021

I find I-Ready to stink. I ready provides no interest in the child its boring. I ready takes away the whole thinking process it asks bluntly obvious questions. And the lessons are most of the time very very easy even for the high level students.
