Just take your money and dont deliver item. When they are contactedthey sayyou didnt buy item you bought a voucher for that item and you didnt redeem and it is now gone so your monye is gone

I recently bought 3 items from Living Social, which it turns out are part of Wowcher. All are disappointing including one item which is shown as floor length on photos of adults but is only knee length, and bleeds fluff, but despite emailing them and filling in their customer satisfaction survey (giving very low scores and explaining why) no one has replied to my email or contacted me. I now see the terms and conditions are that I can get a refund and buy other Living Social items with it - but I have no confidence in their quality or customer service.
I received 140e waller credit and am.unable to use it. Despite doing everything correctly I am 9 days in touch with their customer services team over email and WhatsApp. I've sent so many explanations and screenshots and every 24 /48 hours I get a new person sending me a generic list of steps on how to pay for a deal. Effectively I'm unable to use the credit which was a reimbursement of money I had spent but not used on a voucher so it's my own money.
A manager called Nigel Drake is in touch on email and even getting the same drivel from him. They're no doubt a complete farce of a company and I'm beyond shocked at how they treat customers. I've been using Living Social for years. I'll never spend another cent with them
I bought a voucher for helicopter flight, and flight was cancelled few times by merchant, but it did extend my vouchers expiry date. But when I try to book flight again, merchant no more accepts this voucher from this company. As many times I did write to living social about this problem, got no reply. No refund no nothing. Dont buy from this company, as you can be fooled, and only will loose your money.

Accidentally typed in the wrong refund amount. 6 99 instead of 26 00.
Within 5 minutes PayPal sent the 6 99 refund from them.
Absolute crooks! Please stay away.
I bought an electric blanket through Living social's site. On their site, they had a misleading picture of it being used as a throw blanket, however when it arrived I discovered that it was an underblanket for a bed, which is unsafe to use as a throw blanket. It was not described as an underblanket and there were no pictures showing it being used in this way. When i contacted their customer service, they heard my complaint and then declared the issue resolved without actually responding to or doing anything about my complaint. When I got in contact again they said that they would email the company who actually makes and sells them (who did not have a misleading picture, but instead a picture of the blanket folded up and not being used in any way). When that company replied and made the same point as above, I contacted Living social again who ignored my email. At the time of purchase they also charged me for a year of Living Social VIP, despite me not wanting or ordering it
I bought two bedside tables, but only received one, and all the company can say can I send them a picture of the box, trouble is I opened it up and binned the box, then it was can I send a picture, I'm so angry now I will never buy anything again. Very disappointed
Purchased a voucher, redeemed voucher for item, item was dispatched, then a week later just before it was sceduled to arrive I recieved an email that the item was no longer available and refund was made as credit on the site, valid for only 3 months. They would not refund to my Paypal account.
Shortly before 3 months were up I decided to use the credit. I purchased a clock, system indicated payment would be taken for credit balance and I had nothing to pay. However the full amount was taken from my paypal account ( watch out for small print when paying by Paypal that you are not signing up to a billing agreement where seller can charge your account without you signing off). I contacted their so called customer service who got back to me with "As the credit is not used on time it is expired now "

I'd give a zero star of I could. I bought a voucher for a 1 night stay in an hotel. The voucher it's impossible to redeem and I have been trying with two different phones one computer desktop and every possible browser on it. It simply doesn't work. The hotel won't accept my booking even if showed them the confirmation because they said they can't access the money if the voucher isn't activated. I tried to use living social refund page, but "strangely is unavailable at the moment".
Stay away from this scammers.
In June 2022 I purchased a $95.20 voucher for Bethany at Rockbrook Village, then cancelled it couple days later when I learned it was too early to purchase again. My Stuff showed I had 3 entries of Deal Bucks including the $95.20, then all disappeared. After contacting Living Social 2 of the Deal Bucks reappeared but not the $95.20. I have given them the voucher number & all the info but they are ignoring the fact I should still have $95.20 credit. That is a lot of money for anyone to lose, especially a senior citizen. Terrible customer service. I spent €80 plus and haven't received any of the goods. Livingsocial tell you to contact the merchants directly and I'm sure they know it's impossible for customers to get through to any of those companies. No comeback with livingsocial once you spend the money they don't care what happens after that. Wipe your arse with your money at least you'd know where it went

I ordered a beats by dr dre studio headphones from living social on Black Friday for $199. They sent me a beats by dr dre Monster headphones instead. I opened the box and to my surprise it turned out to be a fake one.
It is very easy to find out if it is a fake or real. Just open YouTube and search for unpacking of beats by dre monster headphones video. There are no logos of monster present on the headphones or plugs which connect headphones to phone and all the accessories. I don't know how how long they have been in business, but man they are trying to fool people around.
On top of it when I called customer care and informed them the same, they don't trust and say they can't help me. They were very rude and say they are not at fault. I would like everyone who got this item through living social, please check for authenticity and also please never purchase any big ticket items from living social in future because of their authenticity and bad customer service who never cares.
I bought the $10 for $20 amazon card, and then my credit card company sent me new cards 2 days later saying that my data was compromised. I didn't get hit with fraudulent charges, but a lot of other people did. LivingSocial needs to cop up to their bad website security.
Without a doubt - the best customer service for any on line or major site! And they all sound state-side too! Wonderful service, knowledgeable, able to resolve issue first time with NO hassle. An absolute pleasure to do business with - highly recommended!

I purchased something that never arrived. I've been asking for a refund for 3 weeks now. Staff are really rude and keep launching investigations that take 7 days - then they start another one. I'm not sure how they're allowed to operate this scam legally.
Nightmare for customer service. I had requested a refund which had been agreed but nothing received (since October)! Trying to contact them is a waste of time as you are hanging on the telephone and no easy way of contacting them online (they make it very difficult). Will not be buying from them again.

Answer: There do seem to have been some financial problems with many of the deals from Living Social. But when I had a problem they answered the phone and it was dealt with quickly and the goods resent.
