I would demand a refund on any shipping charges and request an overnight delivery - too late to help you but for anyone else...
I'm a pro online shopper and realize their word/tracking info has been bogus many times. Cover yourself and use a credit card (not debit) to order. Your bank card holder will back you up, since LS doesn't or has not with my (unused voucher) purchase.
One day late isn't bad. I hope that you receive it. I had bad experience with LivingSocial. I had two orders with the same result on both. I did not receive the items, contacted LS customer service and they sent me a coupon to give to the companies involved. The companies refused the coupons and I bounced back and forth until I gave up. Fortunately the items were low ticket items so I didn't lose much but I for one will not order through them again.
Everything I have ordered states 2-3 weeks delivery add an extra week for WA. I have received everything within the specified time. If it is a little late I'm sure your sister will understand and be rapt in her gift.
