I was afraid calling in to temporarily cancel my subscription would be an annoying experience. But the staff member helping me with the process was nice and efficient. She discussed options to continue but was in no way too pushy. I appreciate the professional and informative call I experienced. This will definitely secure me wanting to continue my subscription at a later date and recommending this website to others.
When I has first signed up to make my resume it only charged a couple of dollars and said I could have access to my resume for 14 days. I thought that was a one time fee but in turn kept getting charged $30 a month.

I subscribed for only two weeks for $1.95. Only to discover that another $50.28 was debited from my visa. And their excuse was I did not call to cancel. If I wanted to subscribe for a longer time I would have stated it myself not your auto renewal policy that renews a 2 weeks subscription to a 1 month subscription. That how desperate you guys are. My teenage daughter believed this was a one time charge of $2.99 to assist her with writing her first resume. I just called the company and was told they tried their best to let her understand this was a monthly subscription through email, yet there are no emails in her inbox. The company is unwilling to return the monthly fees.

Due to fear of reoccurring layoffs at my place of employment, I wanted to attend a job fair last minute and needed a resume. Like other people in need I saw one that seemed to be quick and cheap. Found out today from my bank I was getting charged and sadly I'm afraid to find out for how long and how much because it has been more then a few months since I needed a resume. My card has been frozen and I'm requesting a new debit card. They will not get any more of my money.

Alright, first off they didn't even have a cancel button on their website to cancel the subscription. They don't even give you an email like any other website would letting you know that they are going to be drafting it. Money back guarantee

This site is a rip off. They take your credit card and keep charging. It should be a one time fee but it is not, they charge and charge with nothing in return. Guess what you can create a resume on any computer. Save your money.

There was a weekly subscription I remember paying under 3$ for a short term subscription. I believe you would get so much more if the customer was given that choice. I love this product and thank you for making it easy to use.

Unlike many other users, I had no problems at all with this company. You can build your resume for free, there are a lot of nice templates and pre-made descriptions for all kinds of industries, so it really helps you to get more ideas of what to write and how to put it nicely. You have to pay to download this resume, and they clearly state everywhere that you are given 2 weeks free subscription and will be charged later on, unless you cancel the subscription. The day before the free trial expired, I went in to my profile on the website, and clicked to cancel the subscription. As a bonus, they offered me another month free, but I didn't need it anymore, so I proceeded with cancellation. And that was it. I wasn't charged and didn't have to do anything else... Very easy, if you know how to read. No idea why people had so much problems with this site. I think it's a great service and I will recommend it.

The initial page states free resume but when you have taken all the time typing in your info etc. when you get to the end it says there is a charge. I chose the 1.95 charge just so I could print one copy. Then I called and canceled. It puts out a great product. My resume looks very nice and it was easy to make, but I don't like the bate and switch tactic. It worked on me as I am sure it works on a lot of people.

My daughter had a school project which required the production of a professional resume for a famous scientist. We used the $4.94 service for a one time production of that resume for her school project, then totally forgot about that web site... until I saw a $34.95 charge on my credit card months later.
We neither request for nor consent to any monthly service from livecareer. It's a shamcareer! They buried the "automatic subscription" info in an email which we never read! If I were a lawyer, I would have a class action lawsuit against livecareer and get all the money back for the victim.
What a shame! They will never get any business from me, my daughter, my daughter's friend again.

Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
