I got a nice template for a cover letter and paid only 1.95, but to do so, I had to first subscribe to their free trial which is free for the first 14 days. Then they charge you 19.95! I called to cancel and got my money back. I told them that a payment reminder would have been good. They said they sent one, but I don't remember seeing it. I'm giving this website 4 stars for the cover letter, but I'll give them just one star if I could for the deceptive billing system they have.

I just got to this site and just thought of trying it for 7 days, after i forgot to remove my subscription and they charged me 19 dollar and they didn't send me a receipt, i came to know only when i checked my credit card bill. After that i unsubscribed and never used there service they didn't charge me for next three months. Again suddenly they started charging me 3 dollar, with even informing me and i came to know only when i checked my credit card bill. When i called the customer service, they are not agreeing this.

My account was being charged without my knowledge for a service I was not using. I called to cancel and spoke with Joe. He was very helpful and got my issues sorted out quickly and efficiently and made sure I understood what was going on. While I am unhappy about the credit card charges I was very appreciative for the good customer service from Joe.

I feel like i have been scammed by you. Used livecareer one time to create an application in the beginning of december and payed a small amount of money. Not knowing that you would bill me a huge amount of money every month without me knowing and without me making any use of your service. Shame on you! Service yesterday! As a client on a trial basis, impressed with the service but was undecided on if I would renew the service. I called in yesterday as I found out about a deadline for a municipality job that I was encouraged to apply to and needed my resume tweaked quickly as to send it. The help for a certain part that I couldnt fix from my end, but found out it could be fixed from your end, which then would allow me to then fix it and email it right away was refreshing. The CUSTOMER SERVICE that I recieved yesterday (and today) made up my mind to STAY indefinitely with My Perfect Resume! Thank you for the OUTSTANDING service, I cant wait to tell all MY family & all of OUR friends!

Answer: Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume builder before deciding to purchaser ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. However you can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To be able to use all premium futures of the service we offer customer a 14 days access for $1.95 and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 days and that it can be cancel at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. We are very committed to providing great customer service. Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
Answer: Dont waste your time trying to contact them. I went to my bank and had all future billing refused AND I went to the State Attorney General and reported them.
