Not even a star! No stars. LiveCareer is a scam! My son paid $2 for an resume. Then they started to charge my bank account since then. Tonight I found I was charged $39.8 and $1.19 international fee and looked suspicious. Then I tracked back and found I have been charging $39.8 and $1.19 every month since last May, almost $450! Are they going to charge me the rest of my life? I am going to make a mission to tell everybody about this scam and to get my money back.

I was not pleased when I was tricked into paying for the "Free" Perfect Cover Letter and had to subscribe to a membership in order to print out the cover Letter that I created for my husband. I also was not happy that my membership was not cancelled within the 14 days and I was charged another $24.95 fee. I was happy with the wonderful gentleman that helped me cancel my membership to avoid another $24.95 monthly fee in the future. Thank You my Vineland Brother!

Joe, the customer service representative really made my day. I am currently in search of employment and Joe made it easy to process my refund of the membership fee that I was unaware of or forgot that would be charged. Louis answered my call. This guy had some serious awesome skills! The company must do a great job training their employees and expressing the impact their service makes to the clients that hire them. I've worked customer service before I know it's hard to have to overcome objections when a customer calls to cancel but Louis did it like it was a breeze and he put in a seriously strong effort to save my subscription. He did it in a way that wasn't overwhelming tho so I didnt feel any anxiety as he mentioned additional features the subscription had that I would be losing. I was 100% committed to canceling but he almost talked me into keeping the service because I really started to feel I wanted to keep the services that my account offered but overall my wife was sitting next to me and told me to cancel it so I did end up cancelling. If she wasn't next to me tho, I would have kept it for sure cause he was so smooth. Lol. He was polite, courteous, and extremely helpful! He has skills he could put to use in a sales environment that would do him very well but if he sticks with customer service then they are getting a heck a bargain by having him as an employee! Louis, go to commission based sales! U will kill it! Good luck bro.

Used live career one time (ages ago) to create an application and payed a small amount of money. To my surprise the company has been billing me a huge amount of money every single month without my permission and without me using their service at all! Shame on the company performance and policies!

Answer: Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume builder before deciding to purchaser ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. However you can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To be able to use all premium futures of the service we offer customer a 14 days access for $1.95 and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 days and that it can be cancel at any time. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. We are very committed to providing great customer service. Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
Answer: Dont waste your time trying to contact them. I went to my bank and had all future billing refused AND I went to the State Attorney General and reported them.
