I have consistently enjoyed every auction with LiveAuctioneers and its easy to navigate site functions to bid. I highly recommend LiveAuctioneers and will keep coming back!
A very well-run on-line auction. Excellent communications regarding a couple of questions I had. Very well orchestrated follow-up in the days following the auction facilitating deliveries.
They sell fake goods and no returns. Live auctioneers you can email call all you want no response so you are stuck with a fake gokd product. Do not ever send money order or check they are frauds
I regularly follow the auction feeds supplied by L. A. I have made a few purchases and the auction houses are always helpful a nd I am happy with what I get.

My experience with live auctioneers was ok until I won and had to pay. At first the site directed me to connect my bank account, reluctantly I did but it wouldn't process the payment, I tried this unsuccessfully several times.
Then when that didn't work they asked that I go to the companies site that was having the auction through liveauctioneers.com and have me pay there. I asked how this transaction would be tracked given there was no order number or invoice or tracking of any kind. They indicated that they had worked with them before and this is how it worked. So I went to the site and I was given an alert because my browser's security indicated it wasn't safe.
I told them to fix their site and I would pay, as I wasn't going to risk losing my account info for one auction. They never contacted me again. Now months later the auction company has sold the goods but the invoice remains and they won't close the account.
If they want to force me to use outside means to pay for an item, it should be trackable and secure. Liveauctioneers.com doesn't care.
Hi Christopher,

Would you kindly email us at info@liveauctioneers.com with the specific invoice number as well as your email address so we can further look into it?
We hope you bid through LiveAuctioneers again!

All you do is try to make accusers jump through ridiculous hoops and do the research for you. I gave simple validation of fraud proving steps and you refused to do that quipping. Prove it.
Hello Nancy,
As you might imagine, we take the integrity of the LiveAuctioneers platform extremely seriously and, so, investigate any report of fraudulent behavior. We have a zero fraud tolerance policy. If you could please send over the information that you have on this matter to info@liveauctioneers.com, one of our representatives will be able to assist with insuring that this matter is investigated. I have carefully watched the bidding on this site, for various auctioneers that they represent. They keep relisting the same items again and again, because they don't sell. There was a print that had been "auctioned" several times before. Minimum bid was $1. I bid $10, and it showed the bid at $1, with 1 bid. My reserve bid was the $10 max bid I entered. Just before it closed, a "bid" came in at $250. After the close, it showed 1 bid at $250. Had this been a real auction, you would see 2 bids, my original one and then the "$250 bid", which of course was a sham, designed to make sure a minimum floor was established that they'd "sell" at. This exact same item will show up again in a few weeks (they don't even change the # out of # of the print, so you can tell it's the exact same print). Same thing happens in the live auctions. You go in and bid $100 on something, it shows it, and then the next bid is $1500. Who would just come in and bid $1500 on something with a $100 bid? A shill, that's who. With some of the auctioneers, if they don't get the price they want, they just post "Lot Passed" after the auction. No mention is made of a reserve. Stay away from these shysters - there are no deals to be had here.
I had the winning bid on a JOEL-PETER WITKIN - The Graces photograph. The shipped it out promptly and it arrive in perfect condition becuase they had packed it so well. I'm very happy with the whole transaction.

Was a frequent user of Live Auctioneers until I discovered a disturbing trend. I entered a second bid on an iotem, my first and then was told on my platform that I was winning the item presently, I entered the next higher bid and then the platform entered that amount as my " leading amount ", not going to be present for live bidding I bid my max, just a little bit higher. Come time to see the results i won at my maximum bid. The auction house erases all other bids and numbers of bids on the item once it closes. Melancholy and suspicious, one of my colleagues entered a $7,000 maximum bid, a really ridiculous bid for an item at another " LA " auction with a $1,000 opening, which I watched live, and sure enough the platform opened the bid at $7,000 and awarded it to my colleague. LA says that they erase " all under bids " to save time of the platform, however, the item, A Gustav Gurshner centerpiece, wasn't worth that amount or anywhere close, and no under bidder amounts were shown or executed, the date of this auction was October 9,2022. Do not enter maximum bids with this company or you will get burned. It happens so much now that " LA " put a in section in their information links answering the question, " am I bidding against myself? " which they deny and say it's proxy bidding on your behalf, yet during a live auction if you are the only bidder, they never show it to you if that is the case. Try it one day, enter two bids immediately after each other and see where " LA " places your winning or leading bid at. Take live screen videos with your cell phone as well.
Easy to use, smooth transactions. Only regret is I didn't find it sooner, lots of great pieces I missed out on from previous years.
A poor excuse for an auction company, they took my money but I never heard from their shipping department so they just take your item. Thieves.

My go to site for researching an artist I want to buy and the going rate on items in many categories.
The scam works as follows:
They get info on real items from ebay listings, using the exact same descriptions. They then add an expection valuation range - low# to high#. They then make it look like many people are bidding on the item. The bidding pauses when the bid is at 92-95% of the low# of the range, which happens to be close to the buy-it-now price on ebay. Why does the bidding pause? Because they are waiting for the one real bidder who really wants the item to place the final bid. That real bidder has preauthorized the auction site to charge their credit card. So that happens. The item is still on ebay. I suspect that if a real bidder wins an auction, then the auctioneering company actually buys it off ebay and then delivers it. But they make a ton of money on the 25% buyer commission, extravagent shipping charges, and processing fees... The irony is that it may all be legal (i.e. Selling something you do not own/have, but still delivering if needed, kind of like a short sale on a stock). Beware. ( All I did was watch, and take the description of the items and look them up on ebay. Fortunately, graded coins have unique ID numbers so you can see they are offering the exact same item that is listed on ebay. Try it!)
