Do not even think about going with this company. They never call you back. I have been trying to find out for 5 weeks now if they have the information they need to set me up with what I need for oxygen and they will not even call me back to let me know.
It has been 8 months since Lincare has called to see if I need any CPAP supplies. They never call me to tell me there is a problem with the insurance. I called them and they finally said they had to come out and get the results from the microchip in my CPAP machine. They came out and got that and said that I should start receiving supplies again. That was 2 months ago. I had an appointment with my doctor and they said that I had excellent compliance and that they would call Lincare and find out what the problem was. That was a month ago and I still have not heard from them. Does anyone know a good company to switch to?
On 7/31/2020. I had an appointment with the Lincare staff, to have my oxygen level, to see if the dr. can take me off oxygen. I arrived, knocked on the door. The lady that opened the door told me that the lady that was checking my levels will decide if she was gonna bring me in or out; then she closed the door in my face. I stood outside for 15 minutes with a portable oxygen tank. The lady comes outside I told her they were rude and this is unacceptable and that I was going to report them, she said that's fine, I asked if I could use the bathroom, she said not at this time. I saw the lady that closed the door in my face outside wiping the door down with disinfectant where my hand had touched the door. I reported them.
Customer service, there is none, supervisor there is none. This company sucks on all levels. I have been waiting for my order now over 2 months and I am not kidding. Went to Amazon had all supplies in 2 days.
In mid-January, using their website to place an order, which appears to be an option, however this means they will call me back when I leave my phone number. I left my phone number and I waited 2 weeks; no call. On January 29 I called, placed an order for a CPAP supply, waited 15 days and no supplies came so I called again. The entire call time was 30 minutes. I found out there was a hold on the account for a pending authorization. I had to call to find this out. I was told someone would call me to let me know that the hold was removed, but the person told me to call again tomorrow to be sure. When I am able to talk with someone they are very pleasant, however they do not seem to have any procedures for following orders placed through to orders shipped.
I returned my CPAP in April of 2023. One day later my credit card was charged over $300.00 for an unexplained reason. I canceled all services but continued to be billed. They've deducted over $800 since I canceled the service in April. In the early/mid part of November, I had a very heated conversation with them after they refused to return the money that they charged my card after their service was canceled. This evening, I reviewed my credit card bill and found that Lincare had charged over $150.00 on November 30th. At this point, they're trying to steal from me. I would avoid doing business with this company if at all possible.
Horrible company that over charges for equipment. Got a CPAP machine from them, put a down payment and then a small monthly fee for about a year. At the end of the year they want an addition 600 bucks. I asked why, I own the machine and paid on it all year. Turns out they were charging 1600 bucks for a resmed airsense 10 which I can buy new for 700 bucks. When asked why I so much they said it had to do with my insurance and a high deductible. Explanation made no sense. If I could go back, I would have just bought the machine straight from a distributor. There was no reason to work with lincare. They are a useless middle man that just marks up supplies. But replacement supplies from Amazon - much cheaper.
I can't even give Lincare one star. This is my 3rd time with them. They could not wait to bring the concentrator over with 2 portable tanks. I can't carry the portable tank due to the weight. The were supposed to evaluate me for a portable concentrator which the person came over but was rude. She was supposed to come the Friday before but it was a nice day to call out sick for a long weekend. She picked the day I was leaving for vacation. Someone was supposed to come again. I never heard from them. My doctors office called another supplier. They have requested my records from Lincare but have not received them after several calls. Do not have this company as your oxygen supplier. The company needs to do a positive turn around if they want patients.
Lincare has failed to send equipment, failed to obtain timely authorizations, and sent the incorrect CPAP equipment. They have stated they did not receive a physicians order, then stated they received it, and followed up by sending the wrong equipment. I offered to drop off the incorrect equipment at their office. The Lincare office refused to assist, wanted me to follow up without their assistance, and then hung up the phone. Run the other way. Lincare is incompetent.

Lincare is charged with providing (including delivery of equipment) Oxygen services. Unfortunately, I was not available at the delivery staff's convenience (unscheduled on a Saturday afternoon!).
Upon responding to the door placard, (Tuesday mid-day into the call center) and being TOLD I was unavailable - including having attempted TWO phone contacts - therefore, my bad or something. No Oxygen
Asked if I require immediate delivery best efforts, or scheduled Wednesday, I opted for Wednesday.
Then, 5 minutes later, an incoming call (to the phone number provided) by a Supervisor explained my Wednesday delivery is impossible - deliveries in my area ONLY occur Thursdays.

The email I sent them about a positive experience that they mention on their site... Positive experience? Not at all! I would like to know what is considered an emergency on a Sunday? The mask frame broke in half which means I cant use the mask tonight, so there is no need to even turn the cpap machine on. I am highly disappointed at Lincare in Vansant, VA. Since I wont be able to use my cpap machine tonight because of a part being broken, isnt that an emergency? I know Im not on oxygen but still. I stop breathing 72+ times an hour without the cpap machine. It would be something if I stopped breathing tonight & never started back. Would lincare be responsible for my death? If that happens, you have this email on file & so will my family. Goodbye.
This is the worst company. Called many times and ask for manager to call me back and I never get a call back. They were suppose to deliver oxygen on a Wednesday then they tell me that they are out of the oxygen size that we have. Bad customer service. They need training and more people. They need to be more open minded to people needs and not aggravated. Please revamp the whole company to better service the customer needs.
I called their customer service and they say they owe me money and I will get a refund. I then ask why they keep billing my credit card and they say we cannot see any record of us billing your credit card. I then ask if they owe me money, then why did they send me a past-due statement and I read the statement to them. I then ask why their website is showing they are going to bill my credit card in 1 day if I have credit on my account and they tell me I need to call a different number as they do not have that info. I will never do business with them again.
Mr Herbert Giros talk down to customers. He not a people person at all. He put 4 people in 1 room try to tell talk everybody at same time. There is no privacy everybody is listen to convention. If anybody has Questions and when you ask him he get mad at you raise his voice at you. The company Is very bad with answering phone. When you do call and they answer the phone after 20 minutes they never call back. I was told from my Ins and a person that walk in why does the company do not answer the phone. I call 3 time and waited over 20 minutes 2 times and 1 time 10 minutes.
They are very dishonest lie 2 you, i did not need the things they had sent i called and ask them 2 pick it up they never did i called 3 times for 3 months still no one picked it up i was told i would still have 2 pay till it was picked up still no one came. Be careful when you give them you banking information they will take money not authorize from your account please be careful it was only when i called Humana did they came and picked it up(Warning please be careful)
They are calling me over and over to order supplies, but refuse to tell me the price. Who orders anything without a price? I have tried calling them over and over, but they never acn tell me the price. That is outrageous. If I cold give them a negative rating, I would.
Having ordered inner cannulas and suction catherter kits along with a PassyMuir speaking valve over a week ago and calling every day this week, I finally got a call back from the therapist today and she was very rude and unprofessional. I have been getting supplies from the same place for 15 year, although it has not always been the same company. Even when this company took over I was not asked for a new order from my doctor and now that is her excuse for not sending supplies. My insurance and myself have paid much money for supplies in the past fifteen years.
First contact with a linecare employee was to drop off an overnight testing device a pre-sleep apnea indicator. Very rude! Then I open the think up and it was NASTY dirty. I was waiting for bed bugs to come crawling out. I refused to have it in my home yet keep it on my bed... who knows where it's been. I did a swab of the finger part and it was dirty black took pictures. The linecare people were so rude. I contacted my doctor, my insurance company and I refuse to EVER use their service.
Lincare never deliveries when promised or picks up as the should. They expect you to be available when they want to come. When delivering they would say Wednesday morning and the deliver Tuesday and expect you to be there and ready for them, or it would be Thursday or Friday. For pick up, they expect the family to wait all day or more for them to get around to picking it up. I am not waiting any longer. If they want this equipment, they need to schedule a date and time to pick it up.
My son called Lincare in Hanover, Pa to let them know my portable tanks need to be replace on Wednesday 12/27/17, the guy said they would be delivered Thursday 12/28/17. Didn't bother to say they were closed for the holiday, we had plans to go out now we can't because all my tanks are empty, they did a no show and screwed our New Years plan.
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state

Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
