I recently was tasked with locating a couple of rustic ceiling fans that would compliment a vaulted ceiling cabin with a loft. I found a far better "in stock" selection here at lights online than even from Amazon! As a matter of fact no one else had the ones I wanted in stock! They also offer free shipping with a minimum purchase and use Fed Ex, another plus as they deliver on Saturdays whereas UPS doesn't! This was my first time ordering from them and we experienced a hiccup or 2 but they went above and beyond to assist me with my tight schedule for them. My order was relatively small but you wouldn't have known that from the assistance they provided, so whether you have a small or large order you can rest assured that you are in good hands when you order from lights online.com. Next time I am shopping for fans and lights they definitely will be my FIRST stop as they also have a fantastic selection of fixtures I came across when looking for the fans, great prices along with the super customer service! I just wish I had known about them sooner as I just finished remodeling an entire house and saw some gorgeous lights I want! So if you are new too them as I was, give them a try, you will be very pleased, as was I!

Once I placed the order, they refused to honor the discount (see attached email image), saying that it didn't apply to the item I'd purchased, since it was on sale. They never mentioned that before they got my money. Beware this dishonest business.

This company sell their products online at Ebay
I saw a pendant light that we wanted and was about to buy three at over $900 when I noticed they had a 'make an offer' button.
So we put in an offer for $5 per light less than the asking price.
They then have 24 hours to respond.
Nothing, no communication at all and the offer expired.
Now this was mid week not week end.
So I Googled the light we wanted and found a 15% coupon off the same price at Overstock, no brainer.
I also noticed the reviews left and really I should have gone there first.
With poor customer service how does this company stay in business?

AVOID THIS COMPANY. We placed two orders. Both were delayed... and delayed... and delayed. Up to 12 months' delay(!). After multiple delays, we canceled. I am still - MONTHS later - yet I was charged for hte merchandise never sent, and am still waiting, months later, for a refund to be processed. Customer services is basically non-existent. No one answers their contact # or returns voicemails. Online chat is never available. Email responses take days - and again, I am still waiting OVER A YEAR later for one refund for merchandise that was never delivered.

Website gives false information on shipping times. 1-2 day shipping not accurate. Hunter is actually shipping the two fans with 3-4 day shipping and long delays from Fed Ex not picking up the fans from Hunter. Looks like three weeks, at least, before I get the fans. Run around on cancelling the order that has not shipped and will have to wait for fans to arrive then return them. Not worth the 20% discount. Will never do business with them again.

Does not carry lights in stock. Sends PO to manufacturer after you place your order. "Guaranteed delivery - 2 day" means you might receive your order in a month if you continue to request it from customer service.

We purchased a lamp from Lights Online before before reading the reviews. After we made the purchase, I decided to read the reviews. They were really poor, but we decided that we would give them a chance. Just in case, I bought another fixture from another source. Boy were the reviews wrong. The service could not have been better. I had a question that the customer service answered at once and the shipment came two days later and in great shape. It's a super fixture and I would recommend this company to anyone wanting their items

As a new customer, I was excited to get 20 percent off my first order. Seems they give everyone the same code SEDTLB and it doesn't work. Have never run in to this before ordering online. Decided to order elsewhere.

I purchased a Hunter fan from Lights Online for a remodel. The contractor installed and discarded the box. It was several months before we could get back into our place (it was a complete remodel) and once we did and used the fan, we noticed a clicking noise in the fan. It was so annoying that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. We asked about getting a refund but they said they would not offer any assistance. If we had purchased from Home Depot, they would have refunded in full (without the original packaging). Lesson to the wise and to those who want good customer service: purchase from Home Depot/Lowes and if there is a problem, they will handle to your satisfaction, This company will not.

I bought 2 sockets by Lightinthebox to have the possibility to use always lamps even if the socket is E14 or E17, and it is always easy to test a lamp. The price is
Nothing compare if I had to buy it in my country.
By this company you have always good stuff for the best price, and the service
Is the best I known.

I purchased close to $1000 from this Company. 2 Ceiling Fans and 2 Chandeliers (Supposed to have only been 1) I placed the order and tried to cancel it once I submitted order but it was too late. Next morning I called to have it voided before it went through and they said that it would be taken care of. When I finally received my order The the order came with the Chandelier that I had requested to be removed rather than the one I wanted. 2 days later I received another Chandelier and it was the Same one that I didn't want. (Now I had 2) I went and purchased a similar one from Home Depot and decided to call them, But no one answers the phone. Always say their is no one available, and tell them I would be returning the Chandeliers back. I sent an email and they sent me 1 return order form. Then I received the original one that I did want. I called them and said I have 3 Chandeliers I have one return order please send me a new return order form. Sent back the first and received a credit. I mentioned to them that I had received an additional one and I would be sending it back even though they did not bill me for that one but I wanted the refund to the other Chandelier. I sent back a total of three Chandeliers now it has been 2 months since FEd-ex sent back confirmation and still no refund. Poor business dealings. STAY AWAY from this company you can get similar prices at your local Home Depot or Lowes

Ordered two fans they took my charge and they didn't have the product. A week later when I'm expecting them at the door, I get a lame email with 20% off offer for anything on there site. Said they were going to remove item off the site and a week later it's still there.

I purchased a ceiling fan with light fixture ($400+); the shipper showed no activity for several days; I emailed Lightsonline, and they shipped the fan. It got here a few days later, and I hired an electrician to install the fan. It didn't work, so he took it down and reinstalled the old one - do you know what an electrician charges?

When I inquired about returning the fan (I didn't want another one like it), my only options were to return the item for store credit or return the item for one like the one that didn't work. I wanted them to credit my credit card but that wasn't an option.

I ordered from lightsonline. All was good when I received an email informing me of that. I was told that I would be notified when the item was back in stock before it would ship.
The date came and went that I was told the lights would be available. I emailed customer service and received no response. I called and repeatedly got voicemail. I left a detailed message as requested and was never called back. I gave up and ordered the lights from another vendor after emailing lightsonline to cancel my order.
Then today I simply get a notice that the lights were shipped. Again I called customer service and guess what? NO ANSWER, just voicemail. Now I am beyond angry. I then receive an email telling me that I did not ever email them nor did I call them, therefore I did not cancel the order. Same as calling me a liar. I then forwarded copies of the emails that I sent. I can honestly say I am shocked by the utter lack of customer service and the snide remarks made in their email was unbelievable.

Tip for consumers:
Don't order from this site unless you don't want any customer service response to any issues you may have.

Placed and order online on Sunday, Oct. 29 and, within 10 minutes, realized that the light I had just ordered wouldn't work because it was not compatible with mounting on a sloped ceiling. I called the customer service number listed on their website ( not expecting anyone to be there on a Sunday night) and left a message with my Order number, phone number and explained that the order should be cancelled because of the mounting incompatibility.
On the afternoon of Monday, Oct. 30,2017 after having received no email response or phone call and no refund to my PayPal, I again called LightsOnline customer service, Option 2 ( Option 1 "to place a new order", Option 2 "about an existing order"). After a few minutes on hold, the message is played, instructing to "leave a message and someone will get back to you" -- Another message left followed by another email. A few hours later, I again called ( Option 2) with the same results. Frustrated, I called and selected Option 1 and was IMMEDIATELY connected to the most rude customer support person who made it sound like she had done me a favor by answering the phone, proclaimed that there were no voicemail messages or emails received regarding my order and, after a few seconds "checking my order" stated that it was in "processing" and couldn't be cancelled.
I was never provided any confirmation that the item was shipped but, on Saturday, Nov. 4,2017, I received an email from FedEx ( we have delivery email alerts) stating that the package was scheduled for delivery on Nov. 6. I called FedEx and refused the package before it was delivered and submitted a dispute in PayPal for a refund. LightsOnline received the package back and never initiated a refund to my PayPal account ( I guess they "didn't get' the emails from PayPal either).
On Saturday, Nov. 18,2017, fifteen business days after placing the order and trying to cancel it, I finally got my refund -- No thanks to LightsOnline worthless P. O. S. "customer service".
LightsOnline.com does seem to have decent prices and a good selection of fixtures BUT, if you decide to buy from them, make sure you understand in advance that the ONLY assistance you will get from them is to help you buy. After that, you're on your own.

I ordered a Savoy House ceiling fan from LightsOnline.com. It was a gorgeous fan and a great price. I had read a couple of things about their customer service that sounded "iffy", but because they were selling on Houzz, I decided to place an order with them. They shipped the fan quickly, but I did not receive it. I double checked that it had been sent to the right address, the tracking showed it had. In fact tracking showed it had been delivered. I contacted Lightsonline and asked them to check the tracking/address from their end. The fan retails for over $1000, so I was slightly upset to say the least. My husband said "don't worry, if they are reputable they will make it right". Ummmm... NO! Lightsonline wrote me back and said because the tracking showed it had been delivered, I was out of luck. I could hit FEDEX up about it. Are you kidding me? My husband and I started combing the neighborhood to see if the fan had been left at the wrong house. Luckily a neighbor who knew who we were, came by and said she had our fan. My husband had to walk over there and carry this huge, heavy fan to our home, but at least we had it. Lightsonline had printed the label wrong. The shipping address showed as correct (I had entered it right), but whoever printed the label, had an error. If the customer service person had just double checked her records, she would have been able to see where it was actually shipped. Instead, I was "out of luck". I did write them about their error, but of course I received no reply and no apology. I will never order from them again! If a business is truly reputable, their integrity will reveal itself when you have an actual issue. Obviously "out of luck" doesn't show a lot of either.

Frederick Cooper (FC) Lamps are, apparently, made in China by FC described "artisans"; they are drop shipped from Lights Online, apparently. The quality of the rather expensive (almost 500 dollars) FC lamp I received is what one would expect in a lamp found in the scratch and dent section of your local Big Lots. And no offense intended towards Big Lots. Having called LightsOnline customer service (*******562) multiple times with no one answering the phone and no response either to my voice mail or my email complaint regarding this product, I would have to rate LightsOnline right down there with FC Lamps in general. Based on my personal experience with this single order and the complete lack of any customer service received as a result of my purchasing an exorbitantly priced piece of junk, I would never recommend this company to anyone, including people I really dont like. Buyer beware!
